Could you throw in the technicians choice for the next video also? We know this isn't its intended use, but as you've always said, it works very well and I think it deserves to be included. Thanks for all your work!
Greetings, I made a purchase on your website two months ago I am extremely happy I did not know that you shipped to Puerto Rico and it arrived very quickly I am very happy with my purchase✌️🇵🇷
Lol I was starting to wonder if you forgot about this update. Also I recommend you include " Shine Supply - Clean N Shine " in the the next video seeing how it does the same thing as swift.
I have the top star and the 303. They are both fantastic!!! I usually apply them every 2-3 months. Guys the work great on Electronic drums. I use both on my Roland e drum set (whichever doesn’t matter) and they look and feel like brand new Cheers!
303 products are the best for UV. Been using them for 30 years on my offshore boats. Long term protection. My boats are fishing in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico not some silly lake. Buy 303 and forget about the rest, simple.
Get UV ceramic window tint and put up a sunshade. Easy at that. I have a 10 year old car and the interior still looks brand new as the day I bought it. But I will say, it never hurts to put some UV protectant on your dash if it is leather. Other than that, window tint and a sunshade is all you need.
It would be awesome if you were able to come up with a UVA test. I have a sneaking suspicion that none of these products actually give meaningful UV protection.
@@Darkcruzer23 Yeah, it's worked great for me in this unforgiving Arizona heat. The best part about it is the scent. It's one of my favorites out of all the products I've used.
Thanks for your videos I have learned quite a bit to care for my car. As for this test though I have to go with the Megiurs. I’ve been using it and the cleaner for a while on my 2017 Optima and the dash looks like new still.
Awesome! Yea I was impressed with its results as well. Like I said I’m very use to clean and dress and I really like it so I’m a little biased to that one but they all look pretty good
Excellent video, thanks heaps! I'm always in two minds minds about how to maintain these coatings, just a wipe over with a damp microfibre or using a full on interior cleaner?
I love the comparison, thank you! certainly helps with the decision. Question - would you use the CG interior to clean then use the Mcguire to dress? I noticed that the Mcguire doesn't clean ... and i am looking for a cleaner.
Hi , thanks for covering different products. Can you please advise as to which product to use to clean and protect BMW Sensatec seats and dash. Thank you. Costa
Hi costa SensaTec is a type of vinyl that is stamped to be like leather. Most leather products work on both leather and vinyl so any of these would work, but you can also do a leather cleaner and conditioner. Most modern day leathers have a type of clear coat on them so the conditioner doesn’t really penetrate the way you think it would but it will still absorb in a bit
JOSH,thanks for the testing. I have been using Megs Quik detailer, cleans & protects. 303 only last about 4 weeks, does not clean. Plus now cost about $63 a gallon vs Megs about $25, which is a better business decision?
Bro...what would you recommend a non-gloss product for dashboard and protectant from the sun UV rays since the Florida sun is insane😅 Appreciate the input Much blessings 🙌 Ty
Hello. I have a 2010 Altima and I live in South Florida. Altought I put one sun shield on the dashboard and another one behind it, my dashboard starts cracking. It’s still flexible and does not feel rigid but still cracking. Do you think I can protect it from cracking if I apply silicon spray or vaselin on it? If not, what do you recommend? TY
I think I am overthinking the "protectant" portion of this. If i used something like Meguiars QuikDetail spray. I assume this doesn't achieve the same protection as these would, top star for example. So, if that's the case, would you use something like Top Star for a clean/protect detail then maybe a month later for a maintenance wash hit it with a QuikDetail spray from Meguiars or PS? Or, do you separate them into different packages such as a normal detail, you wouldn't put a protectant but if a higher detail package, at that point you'd apply a protectant?
Hey Josh, video idea… I’m curious if you’ve ever had to detail a car that the owner left the windows down during a thunderstorm and now it reeks of mildew. Cuz I’m that bonehead owner dealing with the awful smell.
Ha oh man that’s a bummer. At the very least put a pack of baking soda in there to help absorb some odors. Or they make things for rv’s to absorb the dampness. It really depends on how wet it got. If the padding under the carpet is saturated it’s a lot harder to deal with. Once’s it’s dried out you can look into using an ozone machine
Meguiar's was by far the darkest after 6 months. There is no way, that this product can be this inconsistant in such a small area like this. It HAS to be some minor application error. This means, that the left side of the area is what the Meg. is capable of. Which is a clear winner. much-much darker. However, I can accept, that the other 2 are better value. Koch-Cemie is a disappointment. :(
I just bought some 303 to use on my new car that I just bought. Mine came in the white bottle (Aerospace Protectant). Is this a different product than the one you used, or is it just different packaging?
ArmorAll is not cheap where I live. I’ve been using it for decades so will probably keep using it. Never had any issues with it. I would not choose the Meguires one if it ends up looking patchy.
A bias certainly appezred here. You are also basing this on looks and unproven facts that your local protuct does any real cleaning over the other products.
Thank you for being one of the few channels who actually followed up with an update after. Awesome channel I've learned a lot
303 has been my goto for years excellent product
I use it on all the seats on my boat and it's always been fantastic!
303 has been my main go to. Carpro Perl is also pretty good and has multiple different uses
I use Perl and I love it on the dash. However I barely dilute it at like 1:3 so it's pretty shiny but I like it like that.
303 looks good on certain interiors but definitely doesn’t work for all interiors especially on newer vehicles
Could you throw in the technicians choice for the next video also? We know this isn't its intended use, but as you've always said, it works very well and I think it deserves to be included. Thanks for all your work!
Yes I was hoping to see technicians choice as well in the video.
Yea i agree, the reason i didnt include it is because it doesnt darken the panel the same way these ones do so it would be hard to compare
@@imjoshvI’d love to see Perl in the mix too!

Awesome thank you!!
I really like 303. My brother uses on his boat and it does an excellent job.
Its a great product
I love side by side comparisons. Thanks for 6 months of "and now we wait..."
Crazy.... I literally just watched the original video for 1st time yesterday! Great timing!
Amazing!
I use the Maguiars on my 2018 tahoe 2-3 times a year and my interior looks like new ..Great video 🤜🤛

I've been using 303 since I started detailing and I love them
I'm with you Car Glo looks to be the least fadded.
Ooooo, you have an older Tundra- but love and have a first gen. 2005 DC. Love it. Tows my pet grooming trailer (about 4200lbs) so smooth.
thx for the follow up! looking forward to the next one with P&S
Thanks for watching!
Best protectant is ceramic window tint then no issues
100% I have it on my wife’s telluride all the way around
Can you review DIY Details products?
How about the top 3 vs P&S vs Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Graphene Inside Job?
Did the trim on the outside with 303 and it still has a nice natural dark color after 5-6 months
awesome!
I know its fading but that Meguiars looks the best. Maybe with a better application, it woulda have been a clear winner
yea it seemed to go on fine but im assuming that has to be what the issue was. But yea it looked really good
another remarkable effort, thank you Josh.

Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic + Graphene Inside Job (loooong name) is what I already use, but I vote for that as part of the test.

great choice

which one best protection for UV?
I looked up the address on his website but all I found was a flower shop. Someone please help
I'll never buy Armor All products again. I think their product cracked my dash in the '70s because of their use of silicone.
The plastics were just bad back then.
Turtle wax inside job!
Have anyone tested Lucas interior products?

I mention that at the end. I like that product but since it doesn’t add any depth of color it would be hard to test next to these
