My favorite addams family scene raul julia and jimmy workman was in was in addams family values when they went to camp chippewa and they met manda buckman and her parents and her parents said: our amanda's already skipped two grade and her dad asked gomez how about your boy? And raul julia responded with PROBATION! as Jimmy workman puffed on his cigar. 😂😂😂
I was so crushed when Julia passed. He rocked in the part of Gomez. I remember visiting NYC and seeing him in a play… sadly I can’t remember the name of it 😂 but was excited to see him! He was awesome.
I've seen photos of raul julia playing dracula and really wished he played it in a movie at least once I thought he would have done a great job in a film version.
It was really cool of Christina Ricci to do this panel in character as Wednesday Addams! She looks like she's about to ask Christopher Lloyd to pass the salt... NOW.
My thing is that she went on to do Casper, and because of the experience she had playing Wednesday, the role of Kathleen Harvey came very naturally to her, to the point where it seems like she really did grow up with a background that reflects familiarity with and acclimation to the supernatural, and that's where that would have come from.
One of my favorite scenes from the addams family was the scene when raul julia/gomez addams and christopher lloyd/uncle fester went down to the vault and raul julia pulled the chained and he and Christopher lloyd was sliding down the slide and Christopher lloyd was screaming at the top of his lungs while raul julia was picking and playing just having a blast. 😂😂😂 R.I.P RAUL JULIA
Not addams family related but one of the sweetest things i think i read was reading about why the late, great raul julia decided to play M. Bison in the jean claude van damme starring street fighter movie he said he made the movie for his kids who were big fans of the video game. It's like he left as the final piece of his legacy as a way his kids could remember him it was basically his masterpiece.
Street fighter was a dumpster fire, but Raul Julia gave us one of the greatest lines in cinema. For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.
