The Rays need a new ballpark. One with a retractable roof on the bay. Home runs splash landing in the bay would make awesome highlights. They had an epic design for one several years ago that got scrapped, and it shouldn't have. City officials and Rays ownership need to stop screwing around and get a deal done. The Rays do NOT need to move to Montreal.

you do realize Tampa Bay is the lightning capital of the world, right? I couldn't imagine how many rain delays/rescheduled games there would be if the Rays played in an open air ballpark.
A closed in ballpark, or at least one with a retractable roof, is a necessity in South Florida. During the summer it's unbelievably humid and thunderstorms pop up all the time. At least half the home games would get rain delayed if the ballpark had no roof.
