Presented in association with Apco Infratech, TOI Dialogues Varanasi explores how India's spiritual capital is witnessing holistic growth across sectors, making it the perfect confluence of tradition and modernity.
The evening will kick off with an address by Pravin Kumar, Resident Editor, The Times Of India Lucknow, and keynote speech by Awanish K Awasthi, Advisor to Hon. CM of UP.
The event boasts of a diverse set of panels, with discussions on Varanasi’s infrastructure development, sporting culture, tourism industry and more. Professional wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt and former Indian hockey player Sardar Singh will be sharing their views on Varanasi’s sporting ambitions, while actor Shweta Tripathi and folk singer Malini Awasthi will reflect on the city’s cultural tapestry. Actor Vikrant Massey will be speaking as part of a fireside chat. Author Anuj Dhar and historian Vikram Sampath will decode the intersection of history and modern politics in Varanasi.
