What if the Time Machine Rip Hunter uses is a TARDIS that disguised itself as a ship while the Master regenerated having the same face as Rory? The Doctor regenerated having Capaldi's face after Pompeii. So why not?

my first into to rip was in JL-U when booster met him and after saving the universe and nobody knows batman shows up with pictures and told him that he knew there was more to him and said if he needed anyone to confide in he was there. Best moment ever in the series
from what it sounds like here they are doing a very good job of adapting him on LoT. he seems to be in that stage before the whole infinte crisis happens and before he becomes his dad's boss....so he seems to be at the crossroads of how to be a leader. so for this non comic reader of him..this synposis seems pretty much in line with the tv version except they are focusing on vandal instead of the many adventures he goes on.
More Rip Hunter. His origin sounds awesome

A continuity error in the arrow verse is that in the final episode of season one in the flash Eobard Thawne builds a time sphere and says “Rip Hunter built the first one of these.” But in legends of tomorrow in what we see of rips past rip is trained by a preexisting time traveling organization who gave him a timeship
Perhaps he meant the first time sphere? Rather then timeship?
Oh hey, I actually knew a few things already on this. As I read Time Master : Vanishing Point, since it was related to Flashpoint and I wanted to get "the whole story" on that.

There's so little on him, the CW just made him into the Doctor (not helped by being played by Rory). While I'm fine with them starting there, I'd like to see him turn into something else, more of how own thing.

I don't like time-travel stories... I won't deny that a lot of them are really good, like age of ultron or days of future past, but I just can't get past how they don't make sense.
Imagine this: this morning you forgot to charge your phone, so you go back in time to charge it. But then why did you go back to charge it since it was already charged? It doesn't make sense.
Sure you can say that really when they time travel and change something they are creating a parallel universe, but at worst that doesn't actually solve the paradox and at best it makes the whole thing meaningless. It just feels cheap.
idk.. Does anyone else feel this way too or is this just me?
