That's hell???....that would be funny if it wasn't so fuckin pathetic....so the counselors just "abused" u for no reason???....I guess u were well behaved and they just decided to "abuse" u???....if hell has any sport available to play...movies every night, any type of food u can think of, cookouts, travelling....hell might not be too bad🙄

I have some volleyball practices at one of the buildings there.. I walked around the campus with my friends and I just wanted to cry, for those poor boys. They deserved so, so much better.
I was there in 91/92 and while it definitely wasn't a cakewalk I can tell you that if I had not gone there I would more than likely be dead. I'm 47 years old now and am very thankful for the time I spent there.
I was there from 96-97 Van Buran hall . Learned a lot from that place, also saw a lot of unnecessary violence used to control us. Intimidation and physical abuse was an everyday occurrence. I agree something needs to be done

2000 to 2003 for home confinement violation service 2 n a half yrs for that smh got punch n spit on throw to the floor for a comment n didn't even get a home pass until 2 months before I was released. I see the staff beat a student till they can't handle him n pass him to another unit for other staffs to handle it n trust me the staff was huge

You forgot medically my bf has had tooth surgery at Glenn mills from students . There was dentist there that had student assist in the procedure . I was I had the pic of my bf with a freaking black eye from Glenn mills he was in his swim suit with a black eye .
Monroe hall. Although i had some good counselors there was some horrible ones. Willie Croner was good to me, lile, was good to me. Rasheen was good to me. Fuck the rest. Changed my life forever and i was the student counselor in monroe.
It should be justice for the employees....I've watched the videos and stories....NO ONE ASKED WHY????....NO ONE ASKED WHAT WERE THE THE CHAIN OF EVENTS THAT LED to this "abuse"????....all they're saying is they got hit....those were TEENAGE BOYS... mostly TROUBLED TEENAGE BOYS.... y'all act like teenage boys don't be confrontational....that's why they were sent there in the first place....it's procedures before they resort to physical discipline...
I was there 91/92 and they flew through those levels fast as hell. You literally had 1 to 2 seconds to think of a good response sometimes before you were getting your ass beat. Sometimes you deserved it, sometimes they were having a bad day and it just wasn't your day. That being said you are correct. This was a place for very bad kids. We all have lessons to learn in life!
