    It's important to rotate across heel drops (I rotate from 0mm to 8mm), as well as midsoles (EVA, PEBA, etc.), to help prevent injuries commonly associated with chronic running.

    Amazon Prime Day is having insane Triumph 20 deals -- I just grabbed a pair for $60.
    My current shoe rotation and upcoming shoes are Brooks Ghost 15, Hyperion Max, Saucony Kinvara 14, and for trails, Saucony Endorphin Edge.
    Incoming shoes: Triumph 20, Endorphorin Pro 3s. Running has taken over!

    Great video!
    I am blessed to have so many options! I found that some of my favorite shoes definitely have some overlap in multiple categories.
    Daily: More v4, SC Trainer 1, Max Road 5, Novablast 3 (about to replace these with the NB4’s), SuperBlast
    Tempo: Adios Pro 3, ES3, PXS1, SuperBlast
    Long Run: SuperBlast
    Race: AF1, AP3, VF 2, and potentially PXS1/SuperBlast
    Recovery: More v4, SC Trainer 1, and Triumph 20
    For the very occasional Trail run: Fuji Lite 2
    Shoes that are on the way out the door that I still am trying to squeeze miles out of: Nimbus 24, Magic Speed 1, Novablast 2, ES1, and VF1

      thanks frank! and that's an awesome rotation. ppl keep telling me to try the superblast but i've yet to join the dark side 😂

      @@supwellThe force is strong with you. It’s time to unleash the power of the dark side. 😂 In all seriousness, it’s a very versatile shoe. The FF Blast + softens up the FF Turbo just enough to make it great for daily plus miles. But, the FF Turbo is so light and “poppy” that it is so enjoyable all the way up to MP! Anything faster than MP and all that foam gets in the way to me. I’d recommend for first time marathoners and those wanting to race in a non-plated shoe as well. Take the plunge! 😂

    Could you do a stability version of these past two videos? I overpronate enough for it to matter what shoe I choose

    Daily - Hoka Clifton 9
    Faster Daily / Tempo - ASICS Novablast 3
    Long Run - NB FF more V4
    Trail - Saucony Peregrine 12 GTX
    Speed - Saucony Endorphin Speed 2
    Just started trying Hoka Cielo Road as a non plated speed day shoe.

    Great video bud!
    My three stripe rotation: I also use a soft(ish)daily in the Adidas Duramo Speed as well as a firm daily in the Boston 10. Tempo/speed and any race up to 21km I use my Takumi Sen 8. Long runs I use an older pair of Adios Pro 3s, with a fresh pair of AP3s for marathon racing.

      thank you and nice rotation! i've got my eyes on the boston 12 as my next long run/tempo shoe once i start working plated shoes back in after this training block

    Interesting thoughts. I'm still developing ideas on what I need as I've only really been running for a couple of years.

    • @supwell

      yeah i had a one-shoe rotation for the first three years of running (adidas ultraboost). i didn't build a rotation until i started training for the marathon

    How do you guys manage with creating a rotation shoes if you have a big collection of running shoes (which is my case, I have about 60)? Do you create sets of shoes and change rotations with different sets weekly? Thanks

      I have one shoe 😂. If you bought 60 pairs of shoes then you should’ve thought this out before.

    Im still finding the right shoes for me, but I like a 3 to maybe 4 shoe rotation. I like 2 daily trainers, one more lightweight for daily runs and one that can handle long runs as well as daily runs, and both can handle workouts. Then I just throw in a race day shoe like vapor flies. I find that when I have too many shoes I end up wearing the same one or two pairs all the time so there's no point for me in having 5+ shoes

    • @aidanhanley4412

      My all time favorite was the Noosa 14, Cloudmonster, and nike vapor fly but I replaced the cloud monster with a pair of superblasts and the noosas with adizero SL per your recommendation

    • @supwell
      @supwell  11 месяцев назад +1

      nice i tend to be the same way. currently riding the mach 5 and adizero SL pretty hard and then mixing in other shoes for specialized purposes. btw i just got the vaporfly 3 and it's pretty great

    My current rotation is the Hoka Mach 5, Nike Invincible Run 1 and the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3. Im struggling to decide what shoe to use for my upcoming Half Marathon training long runs. Invincible for the cushion or Pro 3? But I think I would want to save my Pro 3's for race day 🤷

    • @supwell
      @supwell  11 месяцев назад +1

      nice picks! i like to save the plated shoes for big workouts and long runs with race pace - and use the daily trainer/max cushioned shoe for regular long runs

    Where is supertrainer category

    • @lorenzoquirante8685
      @lorenzoquirante8685 11 месяцев назад

      depending on the super trainer they can take up all spaces (daily trainer+tempo, tempo+ long run, etc.) or for some people they're just good for one of them. it really depends on your preferences in what you'd like in a shoe, so fit it accordingly into your rotation, use the website he said in the beginning, or go to your local running store if possible

    • @supwell
      @supwell  11 месяцев назад +1

      yeah i agree with lorenzo's comment - some can pull double/triple duty across categories. i would add in a plated trainer as the second or third shoe and get something that feels different than the daily trainer

    I go with what I feel like on that day. It's like taking out Ferraris or Lambos on a run. JUST HAVE FUN WITH RUNNING. It's a privilege to do what we do.. have fun with it. Enough with the "overthinking" due to to these "RUclips ex-spurts". Spurting out their ex-pertise.

      EXACTLY! THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS! Just way too many people these days complicating things that do not need to be complicated. Unless one is a professional runner, who actually gets paid for running, there is no need to complicate and overthink things.
