Why destroy them sell them at auction who live in the country who can use them on there own property
These idiots who illegally ride their ATV's and dirt bikes in mobs impeding traffic and creating a dangerous situation are the same lowest common denominator of individual who participates in street takeovers using their (stolen) cars.
The issue is, a lot of them are stolen and not returned to the owners

I live in NYC and we have the same problem - lots of "low income folks: riding ATVs at all hours of the day and night.

I just had a motorcycle totalled for very minor damage because the shop didn't want to submit a bill for ONLY the damage from the accident. (it was a 12 year old bike) Still got 60% back what I paid for it.
Guess what? I still have the same insurance company on the new one. Yes, the premium is a little bit higher -- but nowhere near the amount they paid out.

Extremely LOUD music from cars that shakes your house constantly, and the ATVs and dirt bikes roaring the engines and running lights popping wheelies. It is just horrible. Beautiful weather just ruined by this crap. There was no peace. It totally must stop.

Confiscated 23 vehicles and 3 were stolen? I'll bet those are just the 3 they know are stolen. Offroad bikes not being registered, they're often difficult to trace.

Instead of destroying them, recycle and sell them up in northern/central PA and elsewhere out of state to recoup some of the funds spent to support the program. Most of those are likely stolen but not reported.

Apply this to parked RVS too. Look at all "recreational" vehicles that have no place and no business on public streets regardless if there is a place for them otherwise. Nearly all of them are stolen and none of them have plates, registration, insurance or riders with M1 licenses. Maybe its time for curfews for certain types of people.
