Lately, i’ve been experiencing more coarse texture in my shave, tension seem weak even adjusting brake all the way to strong, and inconsistent shaving (ice fall pause then fall). Already tried replacing blade, put more lube in crank shaft box, adjusting brake to max all to no avail. Given my problem, will replacing the brake likely resolve my issue?
Thank you for your message. It appears that you need to replace the brake and spring (Swan Brake Kit). Directions are shown on video and also in the owners manual. If you would like to discuss further, please call us at (888) 353-3719. We would be pleased to assist you.
Yeep life. Hey I saw your comment and the reply. Did replacing the brake solve the problem? I am experiencing similar problems and the machine is almost brand new.

Jared Marquez yes it by replacing the brake. Get a brake kit with spring.
