My first Husky was a beautiful Female Red/White puppy. When she was 1 year & 9 months, I got another Female Husky puppy. This time a Black/White. They both played their Momma and daughter roles. Momma was the dominant one, although she was only 42 pounds. Daughter was 64 pounds of muscle. My 2 favorite Husky accessories was a Dyson Vacuum cleaner and a Husky walking belt. The belt is specifically designed for walking 2 dogs. It has a 2 loops. One each on the left & right sides. Your lease is attached to each loop by a repelling clip. You can walk hands free. Your back does all the work. Not your hands. Your back is far stronger than both your hands. The Huskies wear each other out. And become best buddies. I lost both at 14 years of age. Luckily when Momma died, we found a group of dogs to walk with every morning. Daughter died 2 years later. That was June 1st, 2021. I'm still going through the grieving process. It's quiet and there is no daily vacuuming. It really sucks!
It's so hard losing them. I lost my 13 year old in July 2019. I live alone and missed him so. The following November I rescued an 8 month old. He's different from my other one and I still miss my other one but I'm so happy to have him. You'll get there when your ready and believe me your husky in heaven would want you to have another. I don't know what would have become of Rocky if I hadn't got him. I'm his 3rd owner. He's highly energetic and destructive. Neither owners had time for him or taught him much of anything. This breed demands a lot of attention.

My huskys little sister is a chihuahua, they cuddle together when they are tired but my chihuahua easily gets annoyed by her because my husky is too much energy for her. And yes, huskies love being around other dogs! Mine wants everyone to be her friend and throws a fit when they ignore her lol
I personally switched it up. My husky is 2 years old and now I have a 4 month old golden retriever. I also considered a German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever as my second dog as well. I look at getting the same breed as having twins... as cool as that is, I like having two different breeds.
I have a mixed border collie since he was about 5 to 6 weeks old. Hes a good boy, and he can be a handful sometimes. But hes turning 6 This september two thousand twenty three. About a year and 3/4 ago, my friend needed a companion dog for high anxiety sort of basically a service dog. He decided to get a husky don't ask. I don't know anyway I went with him to pick up the dog adorable. The only boy out of 8 the rest were girls. Now I have to say he is a husky of a different color he is not the typical husky puppy he is rambunctious but not like you're normal husky. I think he wanted to be a Mommy to start with. But he sweet, hes very mellow to most huskies. And his name is Miko. I have to say the 2 together are a perfect match. And my other dog couldn't be happier and Miko couldn't be happier. They make a great pair. I am so blessed to have both of them . Yes, they are characters. I call it the husky opera. When Miko doesn't get his way. Overall, they're wonderful and they're great boys and I love having extra family anyone who decides to get a pet of any kind And does not consider them a family member has no business getting a pet

I have a one year old female husky, and she spends most of her day with my boyfriend’s 10 year old male husky while I’m at work. She adores him, but sometimes I worry her puppy energy is too much for the 10 year old. That’s why I was considering a second one that’s close to her age.
We rescued 2 white Siberian huskies ( dad and his pup ) at first I was wondering what have we done . But they are so adorable so good natured and temprament is gentle and obedient . My wife and I have considered getting another husky. However our female husky my daughter named Oreo is extremely territorial and won't tolerate other dogs or other animals in or around our house. My brother in law, who lives out of state used to bring his dogs in with him when to visit. Oreo was around 2 years old and my brother in law came in and I warned ⚠️ him to keep his dogs away from her. I think because in the past Oreo got along well with his dogs he did not take my warning seriously. Right in front of my brother in law Oreo tore into his mixed breed weaner dog 🐕 and ripped the dogs back open about 2" long and 1/2" wide. My son found a cat 🐈 and we would have kept it but I could tell that at the first opportunity Oreo would kill it. Oreo got loose one day, none of us were home, and was chasing the calves in the pasture field. The calves belonged to my neighbor as I rent him the pasture. Since we weren't at home he managed to get Oreo on our back porch and reached for her collar so he could tie her back up. She turned on him and ran him off our back porch and away from our house. I have no idea why she is like this as everything you read says husky's are easy-going and get along well with people and other dogs. Oreo also killed 4 ground hogs last year, not that I'm complaining as they needed to be killed. We have always treated her with love ❤️. She lives inside with us and is spoiled by us as we give her treats and leftover food as well as shower her with love and attention. She sleeps either on the bed or on the floor in our bedroom. We'd like to get another husky especially if we hear of one in the pound but we are afraid Oreo would kill a pup and might kill an adult. Is it our fault that Oreo has such an attitude or just her personality?
You must have at least two….we have three…they talk to each other, play with each other, wrastle with each other…😂😂😂😂😂 all three howl together and stop at the same time, not sure how that works…..makes for a lot of fur on the floor especially when it’s blow out time like a few weeks ago 😱😱😱😱

Why does my dog always yawn ? I noticed Hila doing it too. My dogs life is nice . She doesn’t destroy nothing and she’s always with me . We hike , go to the dog park , she has play dates with her sister 5 times a week, she’s well behaved , she goes to doggy classes ( third level )( we go for fun) , goes to pet store all the time , enrichment popsicles , ok I’m done . But still yawns . Like isn’t that anxiety of some sort?
My brothers friend was giving my brother a free husky so we got him and 2 days later we got his sister but we were gonna sell her for more profit but it took a little longer so yeah and I knew that my other dog won’t want to play with the husky So I wanted to keep the girl too so I ended up keeping her and now both of them are fighting and laying next to each other when sleeping but I don’t get much sleep myself because they wake me up and they both bother the other dog and it’s double the trouble

I have 10 dogs, 2 are pure breed Huskies, 2 are mix Husky/shepherds, a black and a yellow labs, a staff, a German Shepherd, a WGP and a another mixed breed yellow dog medium size. The pure breed huskies only allow the black lab in their club, and my female husky is the alpha, after me of course. The 2 huskies with the black lab are the most amazing of all 10 and they really don't like the German Shepherd and the Staff for their uncertain behavior. They all get along fine.
I had a German Shepherd (male) B4 we got Gabby (Siberian Husky female). I had to pause the video to "referee" play time. DRAKE the GSD came and jumped on me to "watch them". They are incredibly ruff when they play and I have to stay clear or they will knock me over as they race past me, up and down the hall (and stairs). I do not take Drake to dog parks because he knows no other way to play! Gabby is just as ruff with him and probably 40 lbs lighter

I actually speak while I’m holding the camera. The narration is very very rarely added in afterward unless there is a mistake in narration or I missed something. Otherwise it’s all done in real time - I’m talking while holding the camera and filming the dogs!
Save your money and get two pups at one time, or close to same age. I always have, my pups are so happy, but I just added a a baby wolf to our pack and it’s been a bid adjustment for everyone ,my boys are 5 ,I think they would like to leave her somewhere far far away 🤣 always make sure you have the time and the home.

How do huskies do in a warmer climate? I live in Georgia, USA and I want a husky but not if they would be miserable in the heat. I watched a video yesterday where a lady locked her husky in the car and it passed away. She was arrested and is awaiting trail. It happened last month in Ohio I think.
Does it help with behavior? I have a 6 month old husky. I am also a single mom with a 3 year old human child and also have a savannah cat. I work overnights so my lifestyle gets a bit crazy and I feel I cant intertain him as much as he would like. He gets super high anxiety when I go to work or leave and can't bring him anywhere I may have to walk away for 2 mins. At 1st I felt the dog child combo was going to work great but I was wrong, he's too rough with my child so he decided to keep the cat as his favorite pet and avoides the dog and the dog is like hey why don't you play with me and he's like well you don't want to play normal boy dog games you want to play knock me over and trample me so nope sorry... I thought maybe a 2nd one would be an idea but im not sure my house is big enough and im financially secure enough for 2.

Hi there…depending on your family or living situation, you can try adopting or checking your local shelter for a husky. Where we live we have a Bay Area Husky Rescue dedicated to husky rescue/adoptions. Some adoptions may be tougher on if you are an experienced husky owner or if you have kids in the home. Usually this route is cheaper. You can also check the AKC website if you are interested in getting a puppy. Usually more costly and this is where “legit” breeders or vendors sell their puppies. I would avoid Craigslist or strange websites that ask for money and then offer to ship the dog as this can be be a scam. Again, you have to pick the option that’s best for your needs etc as each option has pros and cons. I believe the Sixty Formula channel has a video on this topic w/pros and cons Hope this helps.

I have one husky from the shelter and I live in apartment this same exact t shelter I got my dog from is a high kill shelter I am thinking of saving one more husky we also have cats !!!, I don’t want my apartment to evict me but the shelter is full an they r putting them down and I don’t want to see another one put down

I actually speak while I’m holding the camera. The narration is very very rarely added in afterward unless there is a mistake in narration or I missed something. Otherwise it’s all done in real time - I’m talking while holding the camera and filming the dogs!

I always have, my pups are so happy, but I just added a a baby wolf to our pack and it’s been a bid adjustment for everyone ,my boys are 5 ,I think they would like to leave her somewhere far far away 🤣 always make sure you have the time and the home.

Does it help with behavior? I have a 6 month old husky. I am also a single mom with a 3 year old human child and also have a savannah cat. I work overnights so my lifestyle gets a bit crazy and I feel I cant intertain him as much as he would like. He gets super high anxiety when I go to work or leave and can't bring him anywhere I may have to walk away for 2 mins. At 1st I felt the dog child combo was going to work great but I was wrong, he's too rough with my child so he decided to keep the cat as his favorite pet and avoides the dog and the dog is like hey why don't you play with me and he's like well you don't want to play normal boy dog games you want to play knock me over and trample me so nope sorry... I thought maybe a 2nd one would be an idea but im not sure my house is big enough and im financially secure enough for 2.

Hi there…depending on your family or living situation, you can try adopting or checking your local shelter for a husky. Where we live we have a Bay Area Husky Rescue dedicated to husky rescue/adoptions. Some adoptions may be tougher on if you are an experienced husky owner or if you have kids in the home. Usually this route is cheaper. You can also check the AKC website if you are interested in getting a puppy. Usually more costly and this is where “legit” breeders or vendors sell their puppies. I would avoid Craigslist or strange websites that ask for money and then offer to ship the dog as this can be be a scam. Again, you have to pick the option that’s best for your needs etc as each option has pros and cons. I believe the Sixty Formula channel has a video on this topic w/pros and cons Hope this helps.

I have one husky from the shelter and I live in apartment this same exact t shelter I got my dog from is a high kill shelter I am thinking of saving one more husky we also have cats !!!, I don’t want my apartment to evict me but the shelter is full an they r putting them down and I don’t want to see another one put down
