- This is how to replace just the low beam bulb in a 09 Hyundai Genesis and a little discussion on what to do to replace the high beam bulb.

Finally a good and straight forward instructional video for the '09 Genesis. Thanks.
There is a simple way to remove the plastic rivets. Press in the centre of the rivet with a screwdriver and you will hear it click. Then it pulls out easily.

You should be able get the bulb at any auto parts store.

Because the original from the agent is expensive.
I don't know if it's original or after the market, but I do know that dealer prices are always higher.
There is an easier way to replace those bulbs: At the ends of the plastic cover, you can pop off the semi-circular inserts and reach the lightbulbs though those holes.

I have a 2015 and there is o need to remove the plastic rivets. Just unscrew the cover and change the bulb

@@LikeMotherLikeSon You can go under for the fog light (behind the bumper, just turn the wheel and remove 1 or 2 plastic screws in the wheel well so you can fit your hand in there)

Are the steps same for 2010 Genesis 3.8 Sedan ?
Does the low beam double as the daytime running light? Or is that only the orange one you mentioned in the beginning of the videos
The running light is separate.

Is there a button you gotta push to release the light cover? I tried turning it counter clockwise for 20mins and it wouldn't budge an inch.
If it's the same year 2009 genesis should just turn counter clockwise to get the cover off.

Whats the size
Why would you go through all of that when you could just remove to bolts per light and slide the light housing right out & replace the bolbs. Take less than 10 mi utes
