I know right, there was a point where he had the purple and yellow together where I think he should’ve stopped. Instead he mixed that purple into just a dark contrast. It lost all its purple hue.
It looked like he used black around the edges followed by rose lightly from the center and then heavier/darker all around followed by yellow equally applied all over. I didn’t see him adding purple to the yellow. Looked like he blended the yellow into the rose and then rose/black or resulting purple.
As a wood worker, amateur guitar repair and guitarist… I am blown away by this top and the colors PRS gets shows how much experience they have in staining! My bucket list guitar is a custom 24 with 85/15 tci with satin cobalt blue with a quilt top like this and natural back! A shop tour would be insane as well! Lol go PRS 👍🏼
Thus just goes to show that the musicians aren't the only ARTISTS at PRS! At PRS every single employee is an ARTIST in his or her own right! God bless and take care...

Although I’m not a fan of PRS (not my cup of tea), I like that Paul keeps up a high standard of quality with all the guitars that sell with his name on it.
For years I would avoid PRS at all costs, but I got a chance to own a Singlecut for a while and it was one of the best feeling guitars around. Quality is top notch! Made me a believer.
Incredible hand work!! I always figured these bursts were airbrushed on or something. Really is something else to watch such a skilled guitar builder mix the pigments and apply the color layers to achieve such a vivid and deep presentation. Really cool video! Major props to the whole PRS team!
I love my PRS guitar it's a work of art and it still looks fantastic after 19 years Tabaco stain custom 22 with dragon pickups it's just like new thanks Paul and the crew love ya guys peace

I used to have a prs custom se and it was the best electric guitar I put my hands on. Love that it's clean like a les Paul yet the neck is skinnier like a stratocaster
Wow prs are really knocking it out the park I don't own a prs yet but I will in the next few weeks always been a Gibson guy but over the years they really turn me off with petite lawsuits and bad quality control and prices are just getting ridiculous keep up the amazing work prs

I would agree with that I worked at a competing custom shop for almost 5 years in the finish department lol.
I worked at another company too, no one does burst finishes like PRS
