- Finally! RV F53 Chassis Recall. After years Ford has issued RV F53 chassis recall for the rear sway bar bolts. The bolts have come loose in the bast and reports of the them breaking. The recall is replace the bolts and insure torqued to the correct pounds

Occasionally, every owner should load their VIN# into the various databases to find out if their vehicle has some sort of recall or area of concern and follow through.
For future buys of pre-owned units, it would be nice if the dealer would do this voluntarily on their own, BUT THEY DON"T and probably WON'T !
So YOU do it before you legally commit to the buy no matter what they said they did and found.
A safer rig is more pleasant to travel in.
Great point it's something I do as well.. also Forest River is good about sending notices but it is up the owners to stay on top of it
Where is the rush truck center you are at. As the ones in Arkansas are not ford dealers and will not work on them.
This is one in Irving TX (DFW area) Not all Rush Truck centers do Ford work since they are Franchised. There are 140 locations so would need to search their web site. I am luck since one is close
@@ridingwiththerileys thank you. We go to Dallas couple times a year for various reasons. Next trip will have to go early and make appointment to get it done. How long did it take?
Just about 1 hour. I made appointment at least month out to make sure I can get in. I would do the same. The tech told me they had done several of them the last week. Don't forget to subscribe to your channel we are trying to grow it 🙂@@kylemcmahon9187
We lost one of our bolts before we could get it in for inspection. Glenn Polk Ford in Gainesville took care of fixing ours. Great dealership to work with!
@@dmeru60Good dealerships are hard find glad you found one. Will be going full time Jan 3 so will be adding them to our list. Never know if will need something in that area. Thanks for posting
