Not a bad review but at 8:21 you lost your credibility and fell into that nonsense about reliability .....I've owned an S 5 (horrible electronics) and an E 46 M series (with subframe cracks and bad fuel pump problems) and they were both average at best in reliability and after warranty, wow talk about a money pit....This Giulia is a totally new design by Ferrari Skunkworks team...class leading chassis, class leading engine, class leading suspension, updated ZF transmission....Don't drink the German Kool Aid and don't get me started on Porsche Boxsters and IMS bearing failures....FORZA ALFA BABY ...this is everybody's CAR OF THE YEAR !!!!
The rattling on the passenger side will be the passenger seatbelt. Many times after a passenger gets out you have to adjust where the belt end is as doesn’t naturally align. Bizarre but easily fixed.
I had Alfa Romeo 2.4 2010 as my last car got into crash wich was not my fault. I did name her black bird cuz she was all black even tho she was losing it like breaking every 5 days and again im watching Alfa for fs
Jo are you presently owning and driving an Alfa - if so what does your screen tell you about oil chg intervals - mine until today showed from 0-16,000 kms or 10,000 miles as I live in Ontario Canada, just came from my dealership and lo and behold the manual according to the dealership says 6,500 kms or 3,600 miles on synthetic - are you kidding me and best of all the fact that I followed my infotainment screen at 16,000 kms., I could have voided the warranty. Now they changed the oil, I got 8 free oil changes from the original dealership and you would think that this is transferable to any ALFA dealership in North America - well think gain it is not. After they change the oil they had to reset when the next oil change should take place - guess what it defaulted to 16,000 kms and not as the manual suggests - there is major disconnect for this car and engineering - the service persona had to call Italy as he did not know how to reset the next oil change schedule OMG what is wrong with this company they are so effed up - Buyer beware,Buyer beware,Buyer beware,Buyer beware
Agis Alsatian The 10,000 miles is correct. Have had a couple of services and just needs doing every 10,000 miles which is a fairly short cycle for a diesel but is alright.
Excellent review....Alfa Romeo Giulia is Italian pride 👍🏾
Another thorough, informative and professional test. Well done and welcome back!
John Sewell you’re too kind. Many thanks.

Thanks Dino!
It looks so good, it makes me wonder how they will face lift it in a couple of years. I hope they don't spoil it like they did the 147.
Welcome back, great review as usual thanks
thanks Robert. Sorry for the short hiatus.

I'm sorry but BMW reliability has been dreadful for 20 years now, if you want a reliable car buy a Toyota, there's a reason they keep their value
