This video was the missing link for me. Being more heel biased in my weight distribution has now meant im hitting 5 yard draws with 90 % of my irons shots no longer seeing the push cuts. Massive change when i thought i needed a big swing change !

Really interesting video Stuart. I already have some wedges that I bought to help with trying to improve my ankle dorsiflexion, so this struck a chord with me as I have a tendency to "fall forwards". Looking forward to the next video you hinted at using these wedges.

What a partner upgrade, the old one was a bit dogie! I was super nervous when you were doing a full swing. Barney is a great addition but please shorten his lead so he cant reach the hitting zone. Loved the instruction thanks Stu really is great to have more content I have watched all you video some of them multiple times. just an after though our shoes play a part in this, my trainers I often wear to the range tip me forward the heal is higher than the toe.
Hey Craig - don’t worry, Barney’s safety always at the forefront of my mind. Trainers with higher heels and practicing golf are the devils work, I’d stop this immediately. Best wishes Stu
Have to admit that I was nervous for Barney. He seemed quite close to the hitting area. So the take away from this video is to put most of your weight closer to the heels of your feet or the rear half of your feet and not closer to the toes or front of your feet. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

Would having the backfoot wedge in opposition to the front foot wedge ie back foot sloping forwards, front foot sloping back, encourage the correct rotation in the downswing? Does it help the swing to have a Barney observing 😂

Both initial and peak height has risen - peak by 25 ft with a 9 iron - but dead straight
