As someone that studied mandarin for my entire life, i can say that his Chinese is respectable and not too bad but im gonna have to give myself the pat on the back since rewatching that one John Cena ice cream clip just taught me the whole langauge and that while i was chilling in my favorite cozy and moist comfort spot which is my basement.
@@55obipretty sure he meant pronunciation. as someone who’d studied Chinese for 7 years and can hold a conversation for like 10 seconds. nobody expects jojo to learn Chinese in what I imagine was a day, but I can see your confusion as some of the pin yin or and example of it would be bu hao which means no good or not good. This is what jojo was saying but according to my teacher most people in china wont understand that because they only know or mostly know characters and what jojo was reading was pin yin. and that’s what this guy was referring too as that’s how we can learn the language or speak it that’s why he said his Chinese was good because except for nao as another guy pointed out it was pretty good . But no worries can see how you can get confused and it wasn’t said very clearly.

Oh... Sorry I didn't know you were so uninformed. Firstly, Im not born or raised in china so i don't know what's your point of they can't comment in yt. Secondly, ppl in China can use vpns to bypass the firewall so actually if they wanted they could comment. 😁
As a chinese speaker, this was so great, thanks jojo for putting in so much effort into this.❤ However i have to say for the Llama the translation is supposed to be 羊驼 and the one shown in the video 骆驼 actually means camel😅 For slime they usually say 史莱姆 cause 黏液 just means sticky substances but also 史莱姆 is just a direct translation from the pronouncation of slime into chinese which might make it sound like its just saying the word slime Also for 'Gum' (as in the chewing gum shown in the video) no one really calls it 胶 as 胶 normally means glue. ppl normally calls it 口香糖 which means candy which gives u good breath for direct translation or 泡泡糖 for bubble gum One last thing, for dumpling the squishy shown in the video looks more like a 包子 cause theres actually a big difference between 包子 and 饺子/水饺. 包子are steamed buns with some sort of meat or sweet paste stuffed inside it, while 饺子/水饺 have a way thinner skin with meat inside which is normally steamed or pan fried. But i know in English both of these are classified as dumplings so its very easy to get wrong. Chinese is a pretty hard language and some words may have more than one meaning or some words may have the same meaning with slight difference in where and when to use. I still have to thank JoJo for his efforts, he tries to include all his fans and u can see the quality in each video is extremely high

As a native Chinese speaker, this felt super relaxing and your Chinese pronunciation is very standard and calming to listen to💗A few tips about the Mandarin language, in Chinese, although 脑 is correct, we usually say 大脑 or 脑子. Gum in Chinese is specifically referred to as 口香糖 since 胶 can refer to a variety of things including glue or rubber. Please continue making high-quality ASMR videos!

As a chinese speaker there are a few translations that are wrong: Slime: we simply call it 史莱姆 (sounds like the word slime) and Gum: which is called 口香糖， not 胶 (which actually means glue). But very nice pronunciation!
As a mandarin speaker, your pronunciation is quite impressive for a non-speaker! It is your end tones that are slightly but other than that its really good and i appreciate this video alot!

This is one language I've always wanted to learn since I was always jealous of the kids in the Chinese immersion program at my elementary school- but I don't think I'll get the hang of it anytime soon lol. I've started to really practice Japanese and get my conversational skills to a point that I want them to be, and started learning very basic Korean and honestly Mandarin and Korean are so freaking difficult-

Thank you to Jojo for his Mandarin video, I can feel the dedication during production. However, the correct translation for 'gum' in Chinese at 9:20 should be 'gum'. Also at 10:34, the prop Jojo was holding should be steamed stuffed buns instead of dumplings. Finally, I would like to thank Jojo for his meticulous production.🥰
When he was using the steam stuffed buns, he also said 睡覺 which is "sleep" and not the bun, right? (I am still learning chinese and am in Taiwan right now😁)

As a chinese speaker there are a few translations that are wrong: Slime: we simply call it 史莱姆 (sounds like the word slime) and Gum: which is called 口香糖， not 胶 (which actually means glue). But very nice pronunciation!

This is one language I've always wanted to learn since I was always jealous of the kids in the Chinese immersion program at my elementary school- but I don't think I'll get the hang of it anytime soon lol.
I've started to really practice Japanese and get my conversational skills to a point that I want them to be, and started learning very basic Korean and honestly Mandarin and Korean are so freaking difficult-

Thank you to Jojo for his Mandarin video, I can feel the dedication during production. However, the correct translation for 'gum' in Chinese at 9:20 should be 'gum'. Also at 10:34, the prop Jojo was holding should be steamed stuffed buns instead of dumplings. Finally, I would like to thank Jojo for his meticulous production.🥰
When he was using the steam stuffed buns, he also said 睡覺 which is "sleep" and not the bun, right? (I am still learning chinese and am in Taiwan right now😁)
