This video has solidified Woohoojin as my fav valo coach. Someone who ACTUALLY documents their initial climb to immo/rad instead of a "lEt'S SeE if I can Go FrOm Iron TO RadiaAnT in 50 hOurS (smurf)" You, sir have my utmost respect and admiration
Only at games 330+ is Hooj Diamond. And here I am, at less than 100 games, finally hitting Plat 3, afraid to hit the queue button because I might derank. In reality, I probably should just press the funny soloq button, do my best and learn from my mistakes, and see what I can do better. Thanks to Hooj, I've kind of been able to work on the focus points he's given me, but I often find myself trying too hard and subsequently, completely freezing up in the brain area. Namely, as he's given me the "focus up, use comms and make pre-round plans," I was able to conquer the focusing (to some degree) and comms quite well, even comming for teammates that I spectate. My issue still lies in making pre-round plans (the mental freeze thing), and I often just work with controllers and initiators to make very simple plans, like ability combos or giving them spots to smoke. Regardless, I'm glad Hooj took the time to give me a slap on the face with a review, and surely, I've been upgrading my game. Thanks, Woohoojin.
ive only been watching you for about a week, but even though I'm a Bronze player and I mainly play Overwatch and Apex instead of Valorant, I feel like watching your videos has really showed me that high ranks aren't some magical thing that you just have to play to achieve. Just yesterday I started thinking about how I play games of overwatch, and IMMEDIATELY I got out of bronze, now I have like a 95% winrate in Silver and I'm only one day in. I hope to keep watching you when I'm Grandmaster and when I do, I will always look back and see that you were the turning point in my journey. I have about 400 hours in Val, 3k in apex, and 200 in Overwatch and have never seen any improvement because I always said "well I don't know what I'm doing wrong," but in fact all that I have to do is stop pitying myself and actually put the work in. Thank you
This is really inspiring. It took me about the same amount of time to you took to get to immo. This was my first real fps and knowing that you went through similar struggles to get where you are and get to radiant helps me to keep grinding for radiant
I thought I was watching myself for a moment there. First FPS game, couldn't hit a wall to save my life, invested 200+ hours into aim training and with a play to improve mindset I hit Diamond pretty fast in around 3 acts starting from the depths of low elo. Immortal came a week after. Since then, even with two 2month breaks from the game and being able to play less than 3 games per day on average due to work, I can still consistently hit immortal 2 every act. I promise I'll get my shit together and hit radiant by the end of 2023. Let's fucking go everyone.
Super inspirational. I wish there were more stories like this. It feels like most people are in radiant because they played csgo for 5000 hours lol and then they spread their counterstrafing gospel out to the world
This is not a diss to coach banana but seeing 200 games to gold really puts into perspective how much dedication and time went into getting this good (and how good of a teacher he is as the rank up to gold vid help me climb to gold in 8 games, stopped playing when ranks were reset). It also puts my game volume to shame so I definitely know that (for my current level) I don't even deserve getting a higher rank. All of the stuff coach banana teaches us (proper movement, not stopping your movement until you've put your crosshair on the enemies head, positioning, strategy, executes) you can really see them all as he climbs the ranks. Seeing all of these is just wow, hats off to you sir. Mad respect
I started watching ur vids like 2 or 3 weeks ago and haven’t stopped idk why but the way you explain things makes it much easier to comprehend and fully understand how the game should be played not tryna hate on jollz or anything but ur vids just stick with me and I’m more conscious of angles I’m holding and what util the other team and mine do and don’t have and things like that but thanks for the content frfr
I really liked watching the evolution of your crosshair and agent picks. I relate a lot. Also LMFAO the stinger and bucky kills from crazy ranges made me laugh, glad the devs tuned those down
Honestly Woohoojin your videos have helped me so much. I use to be silver when the game first came out, end up quitting for a year or so. Came back sometime in November 2022, started taking comp more seriously and watching videos like yours. Now im platinum 1 but when I solo queue I only get Diamond 2-3 lobbies :)
this is inspiring , when I first started playing val I kept blaming the fact that this was my first shooter and seeing someone else climb to such a high rank on their first shooter and become better faster is awesome. I am motivated to make it to immortal this year and I really like the spreadsheet Idea so today I started righting down my past few games and ive already noticed things im doing wrong and need to improve thank you.
I'm glad I found your content recently. I also went from Bronze to Immortal in about the same amount of time (I started playing in Ep1 Act 2 and eventually hit immortal in Ep2 Act 3). This is also my first shooter, and I think I have close to 500 games combined on all my triangles from those first few acts. I remember when I got to around low diamond at that point I was demotivated and hardstuck in plat/diamond elo for over 3 acts. I've been consistently immortal for the past 8 or so acts now and playing the bare minimum, and this gives me a bit of a boost to want to hit radiant. I've spent most of my time with the game doing coaching and not really self-improvement as much since my academics take up most of my time otherwise. This gives me motivation to fight for it, great video!
It's really inspiring to watch how you progressed so quickly. Gotta admire the methodology and dedication you have for the game. Thank you banana, thanks to your guide I'm on gold now and can learn strategy. Now time to decide mains, the climb is gonna be spicy
As someone who played from the beta this brought back great memories. Valorant has changed so much and I'm so proud to say I love this game. Your content has inspired me to get back into ranked again. Thank you Mr 🍌
I am a casual player I honestly play to chill I never truly think about what is going on, but now that uni is making a team and money is involved I am ganna try and hit the grind and tb completely honest ur videos just teach different. first val yt er I instantly sub to after 1 video W coach. respect ur grind
Me and my friend are both starting the journey too, and we're currently bronze. I'm creating a google document gathering up a bunch of topics and habits we need to improve on and how to do it, from outside sources that I feel are reliable. I really connect with and value your mindset of commitment and self-assessment, and at this point I'm pretty sure 99% of what's in my google doc is echoed from everything you've been putting out. I hope one day when I reach your minimum coaching rank we can work together.
@@jekeha Unfortunately i haven't gotten anywhere and we're still bronze. I've been doing the routine around 4-5 days a week since april, uploaded my vods, and practically abandoned utility to focus on gunfights, but something isn't clicking. I'm still working on it though, and there has definitely been some measure of improvement.
I never really played video games growing up so Valorant wasn't just my first FPS, but it was also my first real competitive gaming experience and even first time really using a mouse as I had always used a laptop before. People always meme about Iron not being a real rank but I placed in Iron 1 and I was also bottom fragging in my iron 1 lobbies at the start. It took me 600 hours and a rank distribution change (Asc) to just reach gold and the more I played the more I really felt like I had absolutely 0 talent and aptitude for the game. Immortal seemed like something that I couldn’t even consider ever reaching, and the more I played, the more that even Diamond seemed unachievable. Even though you have an elite gaming background in other games, seeing how you had placed bronze and were in silver for an extensive amount of time, how you weren’t even sure if you’d be able to get further than Diamond, but eventually reached radiant in less than 1000 hours has given me some newfound hope and I’ve also learned a lot of little pieces of value from your content. While I haven’t seen noticeable improvement in my own game quite yet, I know it’s a matter of time and more importantly, seeing your experience and rise has given me the drive to keep grinding and the belief that even I can hit Diamond, or maybe even eventually immortal. I’m proud to know that I found you when you had less than 5K subs and I look forward to the day that you hit 500K. o7
what a video, been at asc 2 for almost 2 months now choking one game off over and over getting demotivated already pft, just gotta keep grinding learning and having fun thats all there is to it
Was silver stuck for 2 months started watching woohoo everyday and making notes . Now I’m good 2 almost gold 3 . Thing I’ve found most helpful is studying and practicing more and prerping my raze or Jett entries and only playing 3 games a day
I remember when i played Valorant for the first time i got iron 3 as my rank. I got super angry bout it cuz i couldn't paly with my friends who were silvers. Ever since then i played a lot and fast forward to now i just hit Ascendant for the first time and this video has motivated me to reach Immortal in 2023. I may be new here but if hit Immortal then the reason is because of your vids.
I was hard stuck iron 3 for so long and no coaches I watched seemed to give actually good advice that helped me, but then I found your channel and in about two weeks climbed from iron 3 to silver 1 and am rapidly going up. I've always been pretty shit at fps games and Val is the first one I've genuinely tried to get good at and climb in but I always felt like my lack of experience with them would make it really difficult or even impossible to get as good as I wanted to until I found your channel. The way you explain things just seems to resonate with my brain so well and every single one of your videos that I watch genuinely affects my gameplay for the better. Thanks for being so cool and helping us all improve in this silly videogame that I put far too much time and energy into. Happy new year
Thank you Banana Man for being my greatest inspiration to continue the grind for this game. Ever since I started watching your videos and reviews it's made me want to work harder for it myself. Keep up the good work coach! o7
This is my first competitive fps on mouse and keyboard also and I've been playing since november 2021, peaked d2 to this point! It's so inspirational to see ur climb, truly! I've put some decent work on improving myself but it isnt nearly as much as you and I already think it was a decent ammount... hats off to ur dedication! if u consistently can see ur mistakes and work on them it will show results, and this banana man right here is the live proof
I feel like im at the point where my hardware is limiting me (laptop gamer) but once I get a monitor im sure I can hit plat-diamond. This is mad inspirational, goes to show that anyone can do it, thanks Woohoojin!
This is very inspiring to me. I may see myself even talented considering this is my first FPS and seeing a player of such caliber get to Play in 280 matches while I managed in 113. No way I'm stopping now! Props to the best coach in the world tho, I've learned so much from just a few vids... And I learn something new in every vid
I subbed when you had like 5-7 vids uploaded and have watched every upload. You are the only coach I find tolerable, I still suck but that's fine games fun.
I'm 37, and this is my first FPS game. (Long time video have addict though...just always sucked at fps). Iron 3 (2 now after multiple smurfs last night...) only been playing real honestly seriously for like 3 months. Your videos are incredibly helpful more than a lot of others. Making use of a lot of the guides and suggestions I see in your VOD reviews and I'm seeing improvements.
I by myself can't actually do to a high rank cz I don't have much time and I live in Brazil, so everyone here just doesn't want to climb it, but Woohoojin is the best coach I ever found. His coaches helped me to understand where I was messing on my retakes, smokes and even who should I tell to go on each point of the map depending on the money of my team, this banana is someone who haves all of my respect and admiration. To someone who watches him, and saw this comment, just be resilient and keep fighting for what YOU want. Thank You Woohoojin :)
Woohoojin is really inspirational and motivating for us low elo players. However, we need to appreciate the fact that he got coached by Papito. Papito also helped him climb a lot. Thank you though Woohoojin for being so real and open with us about your journey!
This was the video I needed to see the most today lol. After days of red carpets, this really put a lot of perspective into exactly how many games need to be committed to rank up. Here I was on my 30th or so of my first FPS game malding because I'm still silver 2. Thank you for making me realize that the grind is real and there is always ups and downs, but with enough determination and hard work, one day I can reach immortal too.
Even without this Video ur an inspiration to me man ur content has been really eye opening It took me too long to get to gold but i wanna grind and get to higher ranks like u did
yes anyone can, i myself went from peak Bronze 1 in Ep3 Act 3 and now on Ep5 act 3 i peaked immortal 1 62 RR. i solo Q'd all the way till ascendant 2 and then what made me get the jump from asc2 to imm1 was to get rid of mental stressing. Just played the rounds out and as a initiator/sen main i tried my best to support the duelist in whatever route he would want to take into a site and added them because as for duelist they mostly missing a great support player and vice versa.. :D
This makes me want to take a much more analytical approach to Valorant. I competed in Halo and CoD a decade+ ago at this point and never really took anything that seriously since. Have just been pissing about in low Diamond for too long.
I'm coming here as a peak G1 currently S2 player who has recently decided to really commit to improving. Valorant is my first FPS game, and I don't have an extensive gaming history as I've never owned a console nor have had a good pc when I was a kid. As frustrating as Valorant can be, I genuinely love the game. This video is honestly so inspirational; here's to hitting immortal this year!
I’m a player who just started playing ranked this episode and been on the grind. Just ranked up from bronze 3 to silver 1. Maybe I do have a chance at doing the same as you, and joining you up there in immortal! Either way though, thanks for all the educational content that has been helping me along the way.
3 weeks ago i reached ascendant 2. kept playing and sadly i went into a loss streak that got me platinum 3. due to that burnout i literally uninstalled and stopped playing for now but i will retake on the start of the next episode. in the meantime im focusing on grinding aimlabs and get better game sense. thank you for this video is high motivating to me. im sure this year i will hit radiant and i will be the fucking best jett main of myregion les go
I doubt you see this, but thank you for your work. I’m in gold and struggling mentally because I want to see the results. You keep me focused on the real prose: improving.
Nice video ! It's nice to see people that started at the bottom and rised to the top ! When you look at the leaderboard you can see that some people have never experienced being in lower rank since they placed plat or diamond back in episode 1. It inspired me to keep on playing the game. I have played 954 comp matches and am ascendant 1 so i am really close to reacjing immortal ! I still wonder if it would have been easier to reach the rank if i started sooner. I was just wondering since it took you way less matches 😅
Haha yeah people don't realize just how attainable top 1% is in most things. At the same time people don't realize the gap between that one percent and the top 10 period. I remember when I was winning my first big tournaments in guilty gear and the realization that I had hundreds of hours of rote lab work to catch up to the best. And it's irrelevant stuff matched against anyone else too. Just incredibly specific answers that would give me pieces of a percentage to win the absolute hardest games. But it all adds up and it's the difference between top 8 and winning evo lol. Anyways I love that your content is trying to teach the real fundamentals! I usually subscribe to banging my head into a wall until I "get it" but I'm ancient now! I appreciate the direction immensely.
woohoojin i watch ur videos everyday and u are such an inspiration for me to keep going and believe in myself cause i kno i can reach radiant!! my new years resolution is to be just like u said in this vid and play everyday and learn from every game!! thank u
Im really speachless. this video is amazing and it hits me so hard, rn im strugglin to reach Ascendant, i touch Dia3 some days ago but started loosing and loosing. i will not give up, from a video where you show your games when you were plat i decided to do the same. i have 20 days beeing consistent, saving vods, writing it in Excel, i feel im improving. ty for all Woohoojin Rn im Diamond 2 and in some days i will edit this >.< Update: im in Diamond 3 Update: after hard reset and some 20 days im in plat3 i will keep going Update: im Dia1 40rr rn, i see so close the green crocodile elo, i will keep it up!
After 8 full months in iron I think it's finally time for me to get serious and actually get better at the game and not just "trying to improve". This is just what i needed to see to get even more motivation and not be lazy about improving. Might update when i get to a stable bronze or even higher rank.
I don’t really care about reaching immortal, all i want from my games is for them to challenge me and to enjoy them. Also, your content is really helpful in learning how to play an agent
He does have an elite gaming background so there's probably some talent there but I mean he placed bronze and was stuck in silver for a while and tbf he literally did everything in his power to improve. The man literally recorded all of his games from day 1 lmao. Played everyday, trained everyday, hired a coach, VOD reviewed everyday, watched pros everyday. Anyone's gonna improve from that. But imo, for some, just consistent practice isn't quite enough though. I have hundreds of hours in games, 100+ hours in DMs and 100+ hours in aim trainers but am still low rank because most of my hours in game I was just playing. I wasn't actively thinking much about my mistakes or reviewing VODs or watching pro play.
I started playing late july 2022, first TACshooter ever, played apex before but i sucked (gold but carried by a friend), started on bronce 1, 4 months later im at p3 60points, few games to reach diamond, but im determined like i never was, ill get to immortal and i have no doubt about it, if you or someone thinks that its impossible for you to get good in whatever game you are just incorrect, im not a Prodigy just a normal human being who wants to learn, embrace the grind boys.
This is insanely motivational. Actually it’s TOO motivational bc I’m very tempted to lobotomize myself so that I can start fresh with a banana for brain and follow the journey you had to hit radiant Also I knew you were already levels ahead of the common man even when you first started because of naming yourself dee#snuts
here is me who went to bronze 2 and derank to bronze 1 LMAO and on my way to derank to iron 3 LMAO losing motivation to play ngl -I just Hope (i get better :D)
when i started i placed iron 1 and about a year and a half later im still silver. Nowadays i play mostly unrated but honestly this video gave me the motivation to try and grind ranked again lol 14:17 is hilarious
Valorant wasn't technically my first FPS, that would go to COD and later R6. but it was my first computer fps, and first computer game in general(was a console boy). I spent about a year hardstuck silver trying to learn the ropes of an fps game like valorant, getting familiar with a mouse and keyboard, and having fun of course. It all finally clicked one month and I shot up 300 RR. I stopped playing consistently as I kinda fell out of love with the game, partly cause I started to grind another game a lot.(Was Pushing for SSL in Rocket League). I've had spurts where I play a lot and even went up another 300 RR over the span of 4 months, but nothing ever really fully rekindled my drive to get back into consistently grinding valorant. Likely due to a combination of Winter Break, not wanting to play my usual games, and my discovery of you, I have started to grind valorant again. It's been fun, I look at the game a lot differently now, and I have been steadily improving.(+200RR past 2 weeks). This just helped me realize again that with enough effort and dedication anyone can master a game, and you don't have to come from a background of something similar. You'd think I would know this after pouring well over 4000 hours into Rocket League.
bro I can't imagine how good I could become if i put in the time and effort like you! Considering you started off in bronze and i started off in gold (This does highkey sound like bragging but i just wanted to thank you because your videos make me want to get better and become better at Valorant)
This is great, getting super fast improve to immortal and become coach. I actually want to get immortal in 2023. But theres so many struggle that i have like im now plat 2 solo q SEA server, and i cant rank up cause i've done meet many players that have a braindead and a weird play. In SEA server there are so many players that have weird movement or maybe RnG, and thats why im so stressed out facing this players. I watched almost all your videos and i realize i did play like you play and i've learned some videos of yours like how to peeking angle correctly, especially i watched you coach JPC and lead him to diamond, thats a great videos that i learned. I played like you taught to us, i watched and i learned, but im still struggling when im facing the weird enemies movement or something unusual movement
For ex, i watched your videos about maximize your low HP, you said when we got low HP, we must repositioning, get a dangerous off angle, or be a drone (get info or bait myself). I do that almost in every my compe. But sometimes theres problem that i got, my 3 friends push this 2 guys (enemies) and got killed and leave me alone (in this case i fought with them too with carefully). So they leave me alone and let me deal with this 2 enemies and ended up lose a round. I talked already not to push just hold angles but they didnt hear it. Thats why i was stressful dealing with players like that
Second time, i watch same of yours video and i watched brim went to tp in bind and instant press W and went out to hookah and kill 3. Of course when i do that i cant kill him cause its too dangerous. But in my compe which is in SEA server, they did what brim did. I was in hookah chillin and waiting for duelist to entry and follow him, but suddenly this cypher (enemies) came into TP. I waited for like 5 seconds and this cypher not yet came out from TP. But when i didnt look suddenly this cypher came out and killed me without using his (cypher) ability. Like am i wrong thinking this cypher's weird or am i just got timing? I've done already waiting cypher like 5 seconds to come out but nothing happen, i must help my team to entry also and unfortunately at the end im getting killed. Like what a weird or am i doing something wrong?
I have a silly thought that SEA server and the others servers have a different gameplay, i need some suggestion if you read this. Thanks!!! I love watching your content and keep upload a useful content like this!! Appreciate it!!
This kinda motivates me since i been stucked at platinum 3 from E5 Act 1 until E6 act 1 , i hope in this episode i can reach ascendant or maybe even immortal
Hey Woohoojin, I love your content. Your videos have really helped me improve from iron 3 to silver 3. It may not be a huge jump, but I'm happy with it. I have a question for you - do you play every day, or do you only play when you have spare time? I can't play every day, I only play Valorant about 7 times a month, and I think that's why I am inconsistent.
During this climb I missed roughly 5 days out of 194 total days. Consistency in practice is monumentally important in ranking up - but you can still rank up with less consistent practice. It will just take a lot longer. Good luck!
It's had to believe you used to aim at legs and now you're so amazing at the game... I have no excuse! 😤 This is actually really motivating, thanks woohoojin 😁
Anyone can reach immortal. You show us that every day with your Twitch Streams, that's why since I found your channel, I haven't missed one yet. Keep up the amazing content, I'll keep applying the knowledge I find in your videos and streams, and hopefully one day I can be an Immortal player as well (Just today hit Gold 1)
Val is also my first fps and i was placed even lower at iron 1. I have a bronze and silver gun buddy, no gold but i’m gonna get a plat. Honestly, there actually is a chance. Also when i was in silver bronze, the opponents definitely had better aim than yours, it’s great to see than the val community is improving even if it is slowly
You climbed from bronze to immortal in only one episode, you have my respect. The montage was very nice and it felt very nostalgic seeing old Valorant, but we need to talk about that Phantom skin... it should be a crime to use the spline
This video has solidified Woohoojin as my fav valo coach.
Someone who ACTUALLY documents their initial climb to immo/rad instead of a "lEt'S SeE if I can Go FrOm Iron TO RadiaAnT in 50 hOurS (smurf)"
You, sir have my utmost respect and admiration
Jollz is quaking in his boots from this video
im silver and the only way im goin is down and nobody can stop me
Amen brutha
Speedrun to iron ep1: Over already?!
Us brother us
THATS THE MINDSET!
The only one that can stop you is school
As someone with over 300 comp games and still in bronze, I must say that thanks to Woohoojin, I have BEGUN MY CLIMB! CHEERS TO THE BANANA MAN!
I can’t imagine the amount of space and dedication it’d take to save that many moments
He has a Google Doc with unlisted YT videos so space not a concern. The time to track record and document it all is very crazy though.
Only at games 330+ is Hooj Diamond.
And here I am, at less than 100 games, finally hitting Plat 3, afraid to hit the queue button because I might derank.

Regardless, I'm glad Hooj took the time to give me a slap on the face with a review, and surely, I've been upgrading my game. Thanks, Woohoojin.
bro what youre already plat3 in 100games?
I just hit Silver on my 100th game
I'm at my 260th game and I'm b1 still, it's been like a year and half I've been bronze

thats some insane dedication, I aspire to have that kind of dedication. Congrats on the journey!
A greatest coach should not only just know how to be good at the game, but also know how is it feel to be bad.
That's why I love him.
I really liked watching the evolution of your crosshair and agent picks. I relate a lot. Also LMFAO the stinger and bucky kills from crazy ranges made me laugh, glad the devs tuned those down

I got from bronze to ascendant in this last act and I just started playing comp in the beginning of October. Im pretty proud or myself no joke 😊🎉
I am a casual player I honestly play to chill I never truly think about what is going on, but now that uni is making a team and money is involved I am ganna try and hit the grind and tb completely honest ur videos just teach different.
first val yt er I instantly sub to after 1 video
W coach. respect ur grind
I hope one day when I reach your minimum coaching rank we can work together.
yea its pretty fun climbing when you have someone to play and discuss with
Omg same! GL on your journey upwards fellow noob
Where are you now
@LittleKachowski where are you now?
Keep up the good work coach! o7
The content we needed, thanks boss
The insta-reload on low ranks... i remember my self doing it!! very inspirational keep it up coach
Crazy to think that is your actual old gameplay compared to now. 10/10 video
Nice video Hoojin. Great to see your journey and videos.
Very inspiring and motivational. I learn a lot from your video's. Keep up the great work!
:D good luck on your valorant journey!!
i love watching ur videos recently they are super helpful
Even without this Video ur an inspiration to me man ur content has been really eye opening
It took me too long to get to gold but i wanna grind and get to higher ranks like u did
woohoojin, i love your content, ive been binging since the past 3 days and i gotta say mannnn
Been starting to peep your videos lately but this has me sold. Might even reinvigorate my love for the game again. SUBSCRIBED!
yes anyone can, i myself went from peak Bronze 1 in Ep3 Act 3 and now on Ep5 act 3 i peaked immortal 1 62 RR. i solo Q'd all the way till ascendant 2 and then what made me get the jump from asc2 to imm1 was to get rid of mental stressing. Just played the rounds out and as a initiator/sen main i tried my best to support the duelist in whatever route he would want to take into a site and added them because as for duelist they mostly missing a great support player and vice versa.. :D
Im peaking bronze one this act, so hopefully I can follow in your and woohoojins footsteps and reach higher ranks. Also, gl on reaching radiant
This is my first keyboard and mouse game I started in the summer this is nice to see it's not just ex csgo players that get to the highest level
This makes me want to take a much more analytical approach to Valorant. I competed in Halo and CoD a decade+ ago at this point and never really took anything that seriously since. Have just been pissing about in low Diamond for too long.
This is very inspirational ngl. I managed to place in plat 2 after quitting for a couple of years, i would of loved to start from silver at least
Damn. I got from bronze to asc in about 9 months and assumed I was the golden god of improvement. Always someone better. Great vid.
i love this vid so much keep it up (i completely forgot that ascendent wasnt here in the beginning lol)
3 weeks ago i reached ascendant 2. kept playing and sadly i went into a loss streak that got me platinum 3. due to that burnout i literally uninstalled and stopped playing for now but i will retake on the start of the next episode. in the meantime im focusing on grinding aimlabs and get better game sense. thank you for this video is high motivating to me. im sure this year i will hit radiant and i will be the fucking best jett main of myregion les go
Holy thiz iz so good, tks u sir for the recorded VOD
This man is built different, no buts or ifs.
I appreciate the direction immensely.
woohoojin i watch ur videos everyday and u are such an inspiration for me to keep going and believe in myself cause i kno i can reach radiant!!
my new years resolution is to be just like u said in this vid and play everyday and learn from every game!! thank u
From now on the only gaming videos I shall watch are woohoojin videos and jett vods
Even in silver he shows you how to entry
Im really speachless. this video is amazing and it hits me so hard, rn im strugglin to reach Ascendant, i touch Dia3 some days ago but started loosing and loosing. i will not give up, from a video where you show your games when you were plat i decided to do the same. i have 20 days beeing consistent, saving vods, writing it in Excel, i feel im improving. ty for all Woohoojin
Rn im Diamond 2 and in some days i will edit this >.<
Update: im in Diamond 3
Update: after hard reset and some 20 days im in plat3 i will keep going
Update: im Dia1 40rr rn, i see so close the green crocodile elo, i will keep it up!
btw of course also while improving my entire gameplay i have to improve my english KEKW
After 8 full months in iron I think it's finally time for me to get serious and actually get better at the game and not just "trying to improve".
This is just what i needed to see to get even more motivation and not be lazy about improving.
Might update when i get to a stable bronze or even higher rank.
15:40 🤔last time I check that map was called ascent, who knows maybe they changed it
I don’t really care about reaching immortal, all i want from my games is for them to challenge me and to enjoy them. Also, your content is really helpful in learning how to play an agent
i see i must become a banana then radiant will be mine
I started playing in june and it's my first shooter too, I'm plat3 and super proud and Focused on getting to immo
Honestly i feel like you improved meteorically fast, for the amount of games you played
It's just consistent practice. Watch my boomer to diamond series where I demonstrate this again but with a 40 year old silver player.
Some people just have natural genetic talent.
@@awepossum1059 thats some copium
@@awepossum1059 yeah like the 40 year old silver player I'm coaching to diamond who has never been good at games before? Cope.
Actually it’s TOO motivational bc I’m very tempted to lobotomize myself so that I can start fresh with a banana for brain and follow the journey you had to hit radiant
Also I knew you were already levels ahead of the common man even when you first started because of naming yourself dee#snuts

lol 14:17 is hilarious
From iron to silver in over a year? Just quit.
@@GoToSleep_Mike i mean i stopped grinding ranked like 3 acts ago i just play unrated with the boys
Got placed b1 first FPS too and im 7 months in and just yesterday i ranked up to asc 2. ( with the help of the great banana and other coaches)
The Banana never fails to peel away those barriers in his way
I feel like something happened between bronze &gold. Aside from the skip, the climb up becomes an actual climb. What happened…?
Honestly the first 30 seconds felt like you were spectating me and I felt so attacked
This is what it called a Legend. Dude came from Nothing to Everything.
Omg banana master, i just noticed you hit 20k subs, I still thought that you had about 2/3 k subs. Btw I'm betting this video is going to blow up
Me: Bronze 2 in July 20 and Immortal 3 in September 21
If anyone else needs hype up screenshots when they hit immortal let me know
This is great, getting super fast improve to immortal and become coach.
Appreciate it!!
wow everthing from the old hooj is wildly different to current hooj that's refreshing to see
I have pretty similar history. Valorant is also my first fps game. When i started 6 months ago I was placed in bronze 3, now I'm ascedant 1
Short answer: yes
Nah nevermind one my friends is ass and she ain’t ever gonna get past iron 2 😭😭
This kinda motivates me since i been stucked at platinum 3 from E5 Act 1 until E6 act 1 , i hope in this episode i can reach ascendant or maybe even immortal
So moral of the story is everyone has a hooj within them, it is up to us to awaken it
If you squint at it real close, this is just a very big valorant edit
Hey Woohoojin, I love your content. Your videos have really helped me improve from iron 3 to silver 3. It may not be a huge jump, but I'm happy with it. I have a question for you - do you play every day, or do you only play when you have spare time? I can't play every day, I only play Valorant about 7 times a month, and I think that's why I am inconsistent.
During this climb I missed roughly 5 days out of 194 total days.
Consistency in practice is monumentally important in ranking up - but you can still rank up with less consistent practice. It will just take a lot longer. Good luck!
U may have fallen in love with VALORANT slowly, but I have fallen in love with your content upon first sight!
2 minutes in. already love it. thank you for your time and efforts ♥
