- Apple has built a global empire, but are we really just consumers, or have we become members of a tech cult? In this video, we dive deep into how Apple subtly brainwashes its users, distorts the world into an Apple vs. everyone else mindset, and keeps you hooked with addictive design. We’ll explore the psychological tactics behind Apple's marketing, how their devices create dependency, and how this tech giant turns its customers into loyal, unquestioning followers. Are you an Apple slave without even knowing it? Let’s break it down.

@@RedOneMSeems like that too.
I'd say the same how am I supposed to trust someone stupid enough to buy an iPhone?
Because iMessage and FaceTime is way better.
The real issue Apple facing is that people aren't as gullible as they were before. Previously, Steve used fancy words, and people were mesmerized. Even now, Apple uses the same tactics, but people have become more intelligent, and it's turned into a joke. That's why every Apple event is a joke to everyone except the fanboys, who are still living in the Steve Jobs era.
nah it’s just android trolls in their own loud world thinking this rhetoric b.s.,apple has their customers and they don’t need to brag because they know…..the best only competes with their own selves in their own lane 😊
brother more people are falling for the iphone hype everyday...now at uni everywhere i turn an iphone...
no, apple is actually getting more popular. The thing is the new phones they are releasing are so similar to the older ones that people are no longer buying new iphones, since their current one works fine. Most phone brands have reached a point where their "old" phones are so good there is no point in getting new ones at all. If you bought an iphone 12 in 2020 you can keep it for at least another 3 years. Why buy an iphone 16 as an average user?

There are high-end, middle-end, and low-end phones

The iPhone 16 with a 60Hz screen and no high screen frequency, you only put it in the iPhone Pro and call it "Pro"!! It's a feature found in Android phones that cost $400?!
A phone that costs $900 gives you less than an Android phone that costs $400!!

The weird thing is that if Apple was purely a product design and manufacturing company and not a dystopian marketing nightmare company, i would like their stuff more. I have this stigma against Apple purely because of what they represent. I think a lot of 'android fanboys' have a similar outlook, where the reason i 'hate' the company is mainly NOT overpriced gadgets that underdeliver in terms of specs, its purely because they represent elitism, consumerism, luxurious excess, and bullshit marketing.
I was like that back in the day, but I don’t think normal people care anymore. Only terminally online nerds care about Apple these days. Being an Apple fanboy is passé, although I’ve heard American zoomers specifically love iPhones and the “blue bubble” meme (rest of the world uses WhatsApp). However, being anti-Apple has become its own form of consumer-based identity. “I’ll have you know I use a Galaxy S and an XPS because I’m too smart for crapple.” Very reddit behaviour. If people are going to larp about being concerned about what Apple represents, at least be using Linux and a de-googled mid-priced phone, if using a smartphone at all. Point being, defining yourself as being “in opposition to Apple” is basically the tech equivalent of being a cringe atheist.

What a dumb, pointless video. It’s called marketing. Apple has successfully become a brand. They know what it feels like to almost sink, and they’re determined to never go back.
You don’t think its competitors are not trying to brand themselves firmly in the market? Of course they are. And the comments pointing out how other, less well known competitors have cheaper products. Well yeah…duh…because they’re trying to gain market share. Also, I don't even know what the macOS bluescreen looks like, because I've never seen it (unlike Windows, with its incredibly flaky driver ecosystem and constant Windows Update)

Headphone jack... gone from everbody's phone. Well Samsung too tries to keep you locked in, Thats what every company ever tries to do, Each tech company wants its useres to own their ecosystem and they would not actually like it if people would try to mix and match stuff....
3-4 years for software updates? No, it's literally 7 years for the new S24 lineup, and only going to get better.

whats better: a boring UI that hasnt changed in 5 years or a very slightly less boring UI thats customizable to your heart's content? apple's midnset of "simplicity over usablility" makes their OS objectively worse than android in almost every way. they have the most boring and bland UI out there. like the only customization you had was changing the wallpaper until the upcoming iOS.
"Even on insta and yt comments" maybe stop caring about comments on meaningless social media platforms filled with people who have no idea was daylight is?
"People will always find some way to gloat and boast on how Samsung phones are better than Apple's" maybe because its true? sure, iphone has some advantages, like way better video recording and some other small stuff. but youre nothing but an apple fanboy if you think androids arent better than iphones even though the advantages of iphones over android outweigh the disadvantages.
"the role of the I-sheep has in fact got completely reversed, from the one gloating to the one being gloating one whenever they say even something good about apple" and? apple fanboys have been doing that forever too. maybe try taking off your rose-tinted glasses?
your whole comment is nothing but crying about android fanboys while being an apple fanboy.
"They too charge a bombshell for a phone with the same specs as an iphone would have" irrelavent when iphone offers one phone starting at $1000 and another terrible phone for $400 while there are hundreds of androids for all price ranges.
"Sure you could get lower end/range Samsungs too, but those arent the most powerful devices, and dont have the same level of tech as the high end Samsungs and iPhones would have" so just dont get a samsung? do other companies not exist? just get a budget phone from a different company with way more features.
"Well Samsung too tries to keep you locked in" how exactly does a company try to lock their users in when their phones run an open source operating system? even if they somehow did, no one's stopping you from just not using samsung's version of android. you could easily install a different version of android, or install linux, or even install windows if you felt like it, and this is a capablity that every android device has. if apple tries to lock you in (which they DO) you have no way around it because ios is closed source.
"Each tech company wants its useres to own their ecosystem and they would not actually like it if people would try to mix and match stuff" just like everything else you said, this is also a statement that you pulled out of your ass to try to make it look like samsung is anywhere near as bad as apple.
apple makes wireless earbuds that dont work well with other devices. they make you use imessage that only works with iphones. facetime also doesnt work with anything non-apple.
samsung also makes earbuds but they work normally with other devices. they use RCS for messaging which is a messaging protocol that every device other than iphone uses.
where exactly is the part where samsung is trying to force you to do ANYTHING... in an open source operating system?
😂😂😂 samsung One ui is a heavy ass skin because they suck at making their own shit y’all criticize apple so much but defend samsung but why they don’t have their own OS? instead of piggybacking off of android, and before you answer that ask yourself this,,,,why none of you android glazers with all “confidence” in yourselves to be the best am all 😂😂 why don’t you compare your favorite android’s with other flagship androids? if apple sucks…. sounds like envy coping and lack of admittances 😊
It's very telling how they moved from live demonstrations of their products to pre-recorded ones, it feels like they're not as confident in their products and marketing as they were before, and honestly their anti-repair stance sucks, especially when they say they want to be carbon neutral by 2030 but still have anti-repair policies in place and make devices with older iOS versions intentionally slower and not allowing you to run some apps unless you have the latest version of iOS even though the app would run perfectly fine on it and it was previously supported, essentially making people throw away their devices and buy new ones, creating more packaging and waste and using up more carbon just to earn them more money.
There are people like this for every company, it's just more of them for Apple because of their brand image and the fact that they're so large
and one of those people is the guy who made this video lol
The problem with Apple's ecosystem is that you cannot use it only partially. You are either in 100% or out 100%. Try using your iPhone in combination with a Linux laptop. Try using a Mac with an Android phone. And sure! This means more reasons to buy more Apple stuff right? What if you _need_ to use non-Apple stuff for whatever reason (money, work requirements...). Then you are stuck in this limbo, where nothing works and you have to always find workarounds - not because it is technologically impossible, but because somebody in Cupertino decided so.
I had been an Apple user for about ten years. When things worked, it was like a charm, but when things did not work, there was often no way to fix them. Because nobody in Apple expected this or that thing to not work, they also did not provide users a simple way to fix them. At the same time, I had experiences from Linux, where the solution was usually one Google search and one Copy-Paste Terminal command away.
Then came the foldables. I tried Galaxy ZFlip 4 and never came back. Saw the iPhone 16 unveiling last week. What a cringe..
Which tasks you couldn't complete with apple ecosystem?
You don't need to have all Apple products. Most people I know just got iPhone and AirPods and they use Windows PC. The big difference is when you buy Apple you'll have more features and better syncing between device but if you get something else you'll get pretty much the same experience as you get on android in general.
Saying this like most people who own an iPhone don’t use a PC instead of mac 😂
Apple are doing genius marketing yes, but I am a person that wants to have the greatest products no matter the price.
If Samsung did so great with all their products, I would buy Samsung, but since Apples devices are working super nice together, and a premium build quality and super nice software.
For example, I game alot, and also have a PS5 and a Gaming PC, but if I want to do something productive, I use my MacBook.
This isn't just marketing, this is real experiences. I would say that Apple is about 25% marketing/illusion and 75% the greatest products, that have ever been.
Tbh it is wild that Samsung or any other company has been able to replicate 10% of what Apple is doing atm.
I would have to discuss agree with some of ur points
Apple's main selling point of having premium built and Better ecosystem was true 6-7 years ago but not anymore both Samsung and Google has better ecosystem than apple but just like apple u need to buy the relevant products to Fully enjoy it
Fr eg. My house is literally filled with Samsung products(tv, fridge, laptop, hub etc.) they inter connect with one another extremely well it's almost like they are living creatures apple doesn't even come remotely close to giving this level of experience
Next build quality of apple is no way better than Samsung or Google premium smartphones even the software experience of Android is not atall laggy compared to ios
But I do agree with gaming ios has better optimised gaming experience and more premium AAA game than any Android phone (except maybe Sony) but since I have steam deck it's not a problem for me
@@Life_is_miraculus my main problem is that I don't need my tv, fridge, washer, dryer or another gadget that doesn't need any interconnectivity to be connected.
For example I use a Apple TV for the sole purpose of watching TV, I don't need my messages to appear there.
Whenever I have used other devices that would be "interconnected" it just isn't the same, the focus is on the wrong things, and features almost always are a little bit annoying to use.
If I really wanted a fridge to be smart, I don't want it to be vendor locked, it should be an app I download and I can access that on any device I need.
Also I love that Apple is not trying out the new and amazing features, that some other manufacturers are trying out. They release something, when it works 100%. I don't buy into a promise, I buy the promise.
Other manufacturers are getting up to par, but it still feels wrong, the features are weird, the design are weird, everything basically.
Whenever I look at a Android UI, I go, why tf is my menus not looking the same?
The true reality is that some day, another brand comes in, does it better and wins the market. It's a hard job sure, but it can be done, Apple is not here forever.
I don't believe in Android as a future platform, it tries to accomodate thousands of different devices (I develop apps for a living) and it is so f****** hard to develop a platform that is looking the same, feeling the same, behaving the same on all of the devices.
WHEN someone is going to defeat Apple, it is going to be in the same exact way, home designed devices, with their own home designed operating system, with a whole ecosystem. But why is that so hard? Because you need developers to take time out, and actually developing for your platform.
My suggestion would be, get all the major apps on the ride, make them develop their apps for your platform, and then you can start to onboard users. They won't have all their apps at the start, but early adopters will come in and prove that this is a platform that actually are going to be something, so other developers come on and so on. Heck I see a future where apps is developed with html, css, js and run just as smooth. Web development have come so far, and if you made the whole phone API friendly to browsers, you could have a much better environment for app developers.
Sorry for going out completely on a wrong track :D Hope you can take it.
I feel weird not caring about having a iPhone or the latest iPhone but I absolutely love Apple, they do shitty things all the time like not giving you the charging cube but despite things like that their is no doubt the things they make are damn near perfect if not a lot better than other options
Depends. Literally it new update is similar to one ui 6 and some thing it still does not do better than samsung while other. The same samsung copy from apple. It seem for years they are copying each other. The file managment, the jeyboard experience and even having a u iversel control on samsung is way better in functionality. So no, i don't think iphone are better for options. It depend entirely on the use case and what you gonna use it for. For example, an mechanical engineering need a window laptop since M3 laptop simple are not powerful enough to run solidworks and were not design for engineering in mind except programming. If you buy a samusng you can quick share all your imaages and you can even use USB C to search for file on your phone and transfer it to your PC or navigate the phone files like it is done in window. Samsung have quick share which way quicker than air drop. What is better on iphone is the opmization in app in term of pictures which sadly not all app take advanges of samaung camera. For me at this term is more term of preferences. Still does not have a deciated volume controller which allow you to separately control the volumes and not even connect two speakers or bluetooth headsphones at the same time. There are thing that samaung and other android does way better.

Here is the simple truth: Humans are status seeking organisms. That will never change. It's how we form relationships and thrive as a species. And Apple managed to insert itself at the top of the status hierarchy and it has been unchallenged. Nobody dared to make an even more exclusive, better product. Every other manufacturer makes a product for the masses, which by definition makes them low status. You can bemoan that all you want. Porsche does the same thing. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Prada, etc. That's how all these brands work. None of them make products that in and of itself justify the price tag. You are not buying a phone or a car or a handbag. You are buying status.
Apple's marketing and design is genius, they made tech so much cooler.
It's people's own fault if they let some tech product or green bubble rule their lives. I've been using my iPhone for 5 years and I am still very happy with the product and the company. I also don't dislike people that use Android.

Not everyone is bargain hunting. This video is devoid of any attempt to understand human behaviour and intuition. I just don't get the point.
I hate Apple because they make the software incompatible after a few years. They're scumbags for sure. But you're not really talking about anything important, just more drama slop. I just don't see how it brings any change. You can call the users a cult, but the irony is lost when you can't really outline Apple's 'mystique' beyond being elusive and emotionally driven, very much feeding into the very core of their marketing strategy.
If you want Apple to compete in the same ring as Android, you need to make new headlines. Prove to them that transitioning is not as hard as one mightve been told e.g 'Switching to Android is easier than ever, and studies show it might be better for your mental health' not because it's cheaper and has 120hz screen. Men afraid to lose sex appeal? Market to the married men; 'You've grown up. Get an Android'. Nobody cares about Android's cool new feautures that aren't available on iOS? You film a commercial, mocking the fact that Apple is going to bring it in the next few years, and for now they're the ones 'missing out'. The Fold phone is amazing, but I don't even know of it's name. I see it and think 'an iPhone that flips into an iPad, that's really useful'.
It's not brain damage. It's marketing, and you're all guilty of it. Team Green does not have marketing finesse, and their power users have been nothing but a disaster for their clout. But it's a new day, new goverments, new blood... there's always an opportunity to stop, reflect and reinvent.
What are you talking about? Apple has an excellent track record with supporting older devices
the people who say apple doesn't support devices for long has never used a pixel/samsung. even just recently they added more years of support. but many older models were replaced within 1-4 years because they stopped putting out software updates.
@@SMNFXCN They don't mean software support as in what iPhones support what iOS versions, but what apps support what iOS versions. If I make an iOS app, even if I use an API that is mid usage in terms of how much developers use it, the app could break in iOS 19, and I could be forced to make an update to keep it working, whereas on Android, if I made an app for the very first version of Android, it will still work on all Android phones, excluding the newest Pixels (since they don't allow running of 32-bit apps, whereas all other Android phones do).
It's the same on MacOS. On a Mac, I could be targeting the latest version and in like 2 years time, it could break because of Apple's changes. But on Windows (and to some extent Linux too), as long as a program is 32-bit, an app written for Windows 95 will still run on 11 today. (Only 32-bit editions of Windows can run Windows 1-3 apps, since those versions of Windows were 16-bit, and 64-bit Windows can't run 16-bit apps officially)
@@hugowells3052 I mean that installing GarageBand on a 9 year old iPad or 10 year old MacBook is no longer possible, at least the last time I tried. The RAM threw up errors on my 2018 MBP, and I’m SOL on ever fixing the entire thing.
Doesn’t really affect my life since my phone can handle what older devices can’t anymore, but it’s still turning older devices into paperweights. I wanted to reuse them to teach kids piano with GarageBand, but now it’s just e-waste.
So I should’ve said ‘their software doesn’t support their older hardware’. My mistake.

That’s why I prefer android 😂
13:16 i get the point but that's not half the price, if anything is more expensive lol
yea it's hilarious how he chose samsung of all companies, samsung went from making goofy ads making fun of apple to desperately mimicking apple's style
Honestly, when I was choosing between an iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, one of the reasons why I chose an iPhone was because it was cheaper. Oh, and it didn’t have a history of exploding.
@@benpaulik2327 yeah because samsung is the only company that makes android devices. oh, and buying a phone that will shatter if the wind blows too hard is so much better than buying a phone from a company who's one phone from a completely different lineup exploded 6 years ago.
@@MsMRkv interesting how people who defend Android calls Samsung to be as expensive and good as iPhone, but Samsung was always an “I make this product too” company
I ah already decided that my next phone will be an android, better cameras, cheaper and the UI might take some time to get used to, it has its own quirks, I don’t think it’s worse than Apple, I don’t look down on android users like that waste of oxygen and organs said in the beginning
So many companies like Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo, etc. have animations that are on par with that of Apple's mobile devices, if not better😂
I I leftthe apple ecosystem and I'm happier. Apple is good at extracting money.
My green bubble can come from a $1700 foldable. Her iphone can be an $800 iPhone 15.
Bro these dumbasses will try to flex their cracked iPhone 8 and call it better than your new Android phone 😂
I liked apple because of Steve Jobs passion and his dedicated attention to the small details. That was the real apple. I had a iPod Touch 4g and a Macbook Pro back in 2013, but I never needed an iPhone. Now, Idk what kind of cheap quality, medieval designed apple this is now but I'll never buy it. The design and experience looks old and useless and for me I'm still waiting for the next steve jobs to take over. Where is the innovation. If im going to spend $2k on a small phone, I want a professionally architected product with smooth graphics that feels personal to me, not a trendy-phone just for tiktok.
You can think about Apple what you want but one thing is for sure, Apple pushes technology and use experience again and again to new level. Not always shiny and good but in an and away that the other guys on the market rethink their concepts and also build better products. And that’s a very good thing I think.
That hasn't been really true for a while. IMO since iPhone 10. And ironically, they killed some cool things from 10.
It’s crazy how people in the comments have built their own personalities around pieces of pocket tech and ironically majority of this people are not Apple users
Well said! I bought iPhone 12 Mini because of the small form factor. Been using this for last 3 years. Initial few days I thought the phone was fine, but I started missing the customization of Android. One can install custom ROMs on most of Android devices. One can install many open source apps from app stores such as F-Droid. Even a mid range Android phone has 120 Hz Screen, but few of the iPhone models still come with 60 Hz screen.
Thanks brother
to be honest 120hz on mid range android phone is almost the same as 60hz on the ios, i had an xiaomi that supported 90hz and even my new 60hz iphone feels smoother
I had an iphone back in 2013 when i was 12, it was my 2nd phone... it annoyed me so much that i couldn't do what my friends could do on there android phones... let alone the insane lag it had... to the point i took a hammer, broke it in half, pulled out the battery and throw it in the lake... i think its still at the bottom of the lake somewhere... after that i remain loyal to android and mock everyone who owns an iphone 🤣
You read me like a book.
Thanks man
It’s such an American problem 🤦🏻♂️
Everyone else in the world uses WhatsApp…
Or TG and Signal
This is all true, and yet, as a longtime Apple hater and recent adopter, APple has been innovating on a lot of fronts leaving everyone else behind:
1. File handoff and continuity. The universal copy-paste and Airdrop are such time savers. All other platforms require a shitload of half-baked third-party apps. There needs to be a universal standard for this, like there is a unversal USB connector, or Bluetooth.
2. Extremely color-accurate screens for content creation and near-perfect handling of professional audio standards. Windows has always been a bad joke in this regard. Everything requires a workaround, and a lot of features in Windows need to be disabled for this purpose.
4. Excellent trackpad, speakers and superior hardware in general. I've had so much trouble with the equivalent on Windows.
5. Apple Silicon is the endgame for me. Now that Snapdragon X has come out, Windows computers are starting to look better, but with Intel's string of failures, and Microsoft's terrible Windows 11 support (and a terrible privacy nightmare of an OS that it is that looks like MacOS, essentially), It's APple for the forseeable future.
Why did Windows kill Windows phone without really trying? They had an incredible chance to take down both Android, iOS, ChromeOS and MacOS at the same time, but instead gave up too soon. I had a Windows phone, and small app ecosuystem aside, it was an INCREDIBLE OS.
Apple is on top, because they took their time and sharpened their knoives, going from a small, but elite COmputer company, to the mainstream. Their success is deserved, but also dubious. I don't trust Apple and their desire for control. I'm glkad the EU has been pushing them around and forcing them to actually innovate. The lightning port and the closed Apple Store needed to go. The US government needs to step up!
Most apple users in my family have VERY old and outdated model iPhone and when i give them an android they hate using it. Its because of iMessage and also apple exclusive features also because of the UI/UX as well. I prefer android because its WAY better for gaming. But I can understand why most normal people prefer iPhone. Even I had to get an iPhone because of my family using iPhone and the exclusive features. Also imessage is on by default witch causes people to use it without knowing.
So us Android users are not normal? 🤦🏾♂️
@LilPersey I’ve noticed that most people who are chronically online, like me, tend to use Android. On the other hand, people who don’t use the internet as often, like my parents, usually stick with iPhones. For example, my parents use an iPhone 8 because they aren’t very tech-savvy.
In high schools, iMessage is essential. Some iPhone users don’t even have a cell phone plan since iMessage is free, which excludes many Android users. This can lead to discrimination against Android users unless they have a really cool phone like an ROG or Redmagic phone. Even then, iPhone users just existing can be a problem for Android users.
My entire family doesn’t want to pay for a cell phone plan, so I can’t even communicate with them unless I bring my iPhone instead of my Android. Android users are severely repressed for this reason.

@@thepro7404Majority of Apple’s revenue is from selling hardware. So by locking out features, they can promote their sales. But Google is an ad company. Not a hardware company. So, by restricting iPhones, they are going to gain nothing. They are just going to loose a big % of their income. You have to keep in mind that Google is not paying the people out of their pockets. They are sharing the revenue which was generated from ads that are being shown on the videos which were uploaded by people. It’s like uber launching a phone and restricting ability to book more than 1 ride a week from non uber phones. I know that it’s not a one on one comparison. the problem is other brand is charging similarly and they dont deliver the same level of experience.
They do push the movie and the music industries forward though. It’s mostly Mac because they’re reliable workhorses that don’t crash, like ever. I’ve had a Mac since 2011 and never had a problem with it, it still feels like a modern device in its responsiveness. And then you get their brand new M4 iPad Pros and the stats don’t lie. You can scroll through a 4k video in Final Cut without any freezing in a fanless device that’s 500g and 5mm thin...on the greatest OLED display ever made. I’m not a hardcore Apple fan but of all the tech things I bought, their devices are my favourite. Apple makes fairly complex technology extremely accessible, just look at the AirPods or their watch.

Half of the claims in the video don't live up to reality. Telling that competitors are selling better products at half the price and showing Samsung Galaxy phones to prove it is bs. Samsung flagships are priced within the same range as respective iPhones while using processors that perform on par with 4+ year old Apple A Series chips. Conversely, the new top Samsung Copilot+PC laptop has worse performance than the M1 Apple MacBook Air from 2020 while being literally priced twice as much!
Also, there was no white iPhone scene in The Devil Wears Prada movie. iPhones were not even presented when the movie was released
An it’s not the only problem with this video.
the samsung processor flagship performance is only half-true, they come out with different chipset brands depending on the region they're sold in.
Im guessing the crappy ones you're referring to are the ones with Samsung's Exynos chipset (which is absolute doo doo except the most recent one)
On the other hand, the Samsung flagships that have snapdragon processors... are actually better. There simply isnt any inbetween :/
and EUGH I couldn't agree more with the laptop situation, its DEPLORABLE. I'd rather have an actual mobile system running a heavily modified desktop-oriented version android (Samsung DeX just isnt there yet :c ) than frigging WindowsARM.
@@monkeywheel5522 doesn’t matter if it’s Qualcomm or Exinos, none of them would outperform even A chip of iPhone 12, maybe be on par at best

Right, so to sum up all you said, Apple is a business and is really good at making sales of good products. Groundbreaking information.
P.S. The blue bubble problem is a US thing as Americans refuse to use other messaging apps and Apple is a Global company so the Blue Bubble doesn’t make Apple a cult.
People like attention to detail and that’s where Apple excels. Their website is always amazing, the products are high quality and holds a good resell value.
I'm getting so mad at apple and their customers rn.
Apple certainly offers some rather fine products, but being engulfed into their ecosystem doesn't sit well with me. The development of Internet connected devices and technologies have always prioritized the implementation of some level of interoperability, and Apple does away with that for many of their products and services. For all their talk of anti-consumption and anti-luxury spending, I find my generational cohort to be particularly susceptible to their marketing, and growing up, users of non-Apple devices were often singled out. They were also almost always technologically illiterate. This has given me the perception that the most die-hard and undeservedly smug Apple users are usually the most conformist and prone to corporation's marketing. Of course, not every last person who uses an Apple device is a bugman of low degree, and even I admittedly use their wired earbuds for their more than serviceable audio fidelity, but it's definitely a trend which I've come to notice, and can't help but pity those who find themselves knee-deep into one Apple's ecosystem.
Most of the things you say applies to android. Before iPhones always had an more vertical approach(they don’t do everything, so they try to control most of the hardware) now they do it with multi devices. Thats just good engineering. And if you don’t like apple it’s fine, there are a lot of very fine phones on the android side for you. But please stop the conspiracy theories.
Just remember that all these brands are garbage. Don't fall for their branding tricks.
I would pay triple for an android phone just so I don't use an iphone, I hate the whole philosophy of the company, so many insane restrictions, you can't truly customize or install what you want, it's just a basic phone for basic people who lack imagination.
Soo true. I will never buy A stuff.
I'm an apple fanboy until my iphone 12 pro max broke and was force to buy a $300 android i realized that i'm doing the same thing call, text, message and social media i thought i was using the iphone to it's fullest potential i was wrong from then on i'm just buy a cheap android phone
Yes apple allowed devs to get data like contacts etc, and those devs who could be just Google Facebook etc can easily sell it which they did, and which is y later Apple added that do not track option that just "requests" the app not to sell ur data.
Ok nvm this they actually did sell shit themselves
I just like tech that’s why I like Apple a lot I think that they make the most interesting products
They used to make the most interesting products, not anymore by a long shot.
Even Samsung doesn't innovate as much as they used.
As much as I hate to say it, Chinese companies like Huawei and Xiaomi are absolutely killing it with their new tech ideas.

Good video, though I believe you made it with a bit of a bias against Apple in general. The fact people sell their baby to buy an iPhone to create reels does not indicate some sick desire towards a branded luxury product but more a sick desire for fame and money. You could, in fact, also blame Meta for making Instagram reels with the same logic. This also goes for the example you gave about the man lying to police he had been mugged because "he could not bear the fact of not having an iPhone". Is it "an iPhone" or "his iPhone"? Not having enough money to buy a new phone is a whole different reason than just an iPhone.
Apple is a branding genius and their ecosystem is a prison. These are facts. The substantiation in your video though, feels a bit cheap and very biased.

I don't agree with that video. Yeah sure the green and blue bubble thing is stupid and some other things are. But people don't usually buy Apple because it's Apple. Then Apple ecosystem experience is pretty much the best out there and this is why I like it so much. So easy to transfer files between devices and sync everything. I don't care if the tech specs even differ. I'd rather have some weaker phone with better experience than more powerful phone with bad experience because of the software. And the specs of the iPhone and Android phones are pretty similar. I can run heavy mobile games on my iPhone just fine. I don't care if one uses Android or something else really. But I don't go around calling them a cult and brain damaged for what they use. A lot of people are seeing value in Apple products and the experience is good for them. They don't buy it because they're some cult followers or brain damaged. They buy it for the features it has and the experience.
