I've just watched another video of Stamford lent Fair from 1994. So 30 years ago! there was a Zipper ride, Roll cages (eggs ride) and a very rare ride of 2 boat things on long arms that go upside down! Usual dodgems and waltzer ride.. It's strange looking back in time how far new rides are now.
Some waltzers need two generators because of operating at a different voltage - 110 volts usually- so 220 usually with the legendary Gardner. Same with a set of non fold out dodgems.

Its interesting how much power the Dogems and Waltzers requires to operate compared to much larger rides such as Vertigo
The weather has been awful this year. Not good for fair season 😕
