Thanks for this. In my 2019 4runner off-road, there was no need to remove the connector on the side panel, just the lower one, plus rotate the ground wire. Once installed, I found the two long threaded rods were tight against wiring / tubing, so I put metal tubes over the threads where there was contact. Excited now to figure out what electrics to install!
Great video. I’m also planning on doing a dual battery setup for my 2016 4Runner. I’ve looked at several different secondary battery trays. After watching your video I think I’m gonna go with the battery tray from C4 Fabrication. Everyone else charges way too much. I’m also going to piece my project together a little at a time. Looking forward to watching your next video of the project.

I put masking tape in the socket, then the nut, the tape keeps the nut tight in the socket, it won't fall out!
