One of the most epic endings ever, no joke, since 2013 ive been coming back here to listen to intortus and it always sounds fucking legendary to me, you should upload a full HQ version with the ending at the highest volume because it is too perfect
Troa Barton I know it's been a week but reading this thread made me really happy. It's like, I know someone has just broadened their musical horizons so much it's brings me back to when I discovered these bands and felt so much happy. If you don't mind, I'd like to also suggest Sithu Aye and Plini. They're some damn good guitarists.
The fact that you're this good, put on free tracks to listen to, and actually write and post this music for other people to play is freaking awesome. Get big, and you'd change the music industry.
I used to listen to this about 10 years ago when it came out. No idea how I found it then, but I never forgot it. Glad it’s still as good as I remember.
massive! seems to be my fav after so many listenings... like the nice balanced polyrythmic patterns and how they move into the driving arpeggio sequence, contrasting the hookline-ish runs and and and... and introducing that classic solo run (reminds me slightly of paul gilbert) @ 2:59 so great, fits sooo perfect! ... however, in my personal category 'music to recommend'. ...and may the vsauce force send more of the willing listeners over here! dang, those arpeggios need to fall under regulation... they actually bare a high risk of becoming addicted xD would give 2 thumbs up, if only possible...
Man I listened to this song song more than a few times now and this is truly your masterpiece, IMO! If more songs like this are coming up idk what would stop you from becoming really well known!!!
Attack of the Marshall micro-stack... again. My respect for Marshall, or perhaps just your ability to dial in a smoking tone with only three knobs, is mind blowing. Never has the saying, "Less is more." been more applicable. Oh, yeah and the playing ain't half bad either! :-)
Totally dig all your stuff! ...I listen daily. That PRS is so damn pretty, and I'm super impressed with the tone you're getting out of it with that BPK in the bridge. I'll be posting a cover of one of your songs very shortly. Cheers!
be_cracked I used to play it quite a lot so I like those intense songs on expert ^.^ It feels cool when you beat them, but after 1 hour my hand hurts so I have to stop playing xD
Instrumental yeeeeeeah for the the voice is just an acceory to the music real good music can and should be enjoy w/o a voice like a good singer is known by his acapellas good work man
That breakdown at the end is a masterpiece of guitar play. What a treat. I heard this when Vsauce2 (the one that Jake hosts) recommended this and I've loved it ever since.
Fucking inspirational man, I LOVE your ideas! You and Cloudkicker's Discovery album are my go to for just basking in instrumental greatness not too erratic and complex but not too repetitive and mundane, a perfect balance to keep the ears enticed aha, cannot stress how impressive and awesome this and your last album is. Job well done bro, job well done
Hey man, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong--but I feel like a lot of this song's structure laid the groundwork for "Aviaticus". The songs are completely their own entities, but I feel like you took what you liked compositionally here and molded it into the aforementioned technically-polished masterpiece. I've always felt as though you should use "Aviaticus" as your counter to "Undulatus". Don't get me wrong, "Translucidus" is technical as all hell, but it has a very natural flow to it. I feel like you really went above and beyond with "Aviaticus", man. I at least hope SOME of this makes sense to you. And obviously, cheers. Absolutely love you guys, man. Can't wait for the next release.

Man that outro was awesome. Please don't have it fade out like that in the album release.
