- The world has gone crazy for Nvidia -- or at least, Wall Street has. The stock has almost single-handedly lifted the entire market due to its monster valuation and latest, monster quarter. But the largest companies in the world are also typically the most well-known… and Nvidia is far from being a household name. And the last time a tech company without mass brand recognition became the most valuable in the world? That was Cisco in the late 90s. Is another bubble brewing? The main focus for markets now is Nvidia, which has powered a large chunk of the S&P 500’s recent earnings. Nvidia’s stock, up more than 90% this year, rose 2.5% in New York on Monday, sending the Nasdaq 100 index to another record high. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

Yes! but still make your own research. And I would avoid the index funds, mutual funds, or specific stocks for the time being. The 5% fixed incomes are the safest bet for now. Or hire/ work with a good market strategist. You’re safer that way

To be fair, besides tech folks, gamers, crypto miners, and wall street people (which are minorities), most other people don't know about Nvidia.

Kudos to Nvidia management. Over the years, they have ridden multiple waves and in some instances created the wave itself. They never got stubborn or 'big and slow to react'.
Before the whole AI boom, I think the only people familiar with Nvidia were PC gamers.

Considering that I bought my first Nvidia product some +20 years ago, I will say that I know the company.
Jensen makes this even more misunderstood. Its a bloody GPU company. Every gamer knows this.
In the Pentium 4 era, everyone who buy NVIDIA called it the GeForce graphic card and those buying ATI they called it the Radeon graphic card. NVIDIA have to show a short video before the game menu start and the video shows NVIDIA logo on left side and right side is the word NVIDIA and a woman speak: NVIDIA the way it is meant to be play.
AMD bought ATI, but before that, Nvidia released new products every 6m to a year wiping out almost 40 gpu companies back then.

I know of Nvidia; they're the potato chip company everyone is talking about! They have different flavors of chips, but what's even cooler is their salsa called CUDA, which makes everything taste like A1 sauce! Many steakholders are demanding more A1 sauce, but Nvidia can't supply enough. Some people are even suggesting that bubble tea goes well with it!

If you've been pc gamers for years, you definitely know them. I started investing in their stock in late 2022 because of their name recognition for graphic cards. Boy, i don't regret it 😅

Too much hype on Nvidia. Many retail investors will lose a lot of money. When Intel stock price hit 72$ on 25 august 2000, investors were thinking same. it is unbeatable as everybody on planet needs a computer and only Intel makes best CPUs. After 24 years, Intel made so much more revenues yet never saw 72$ per stock still trading less than half. Upcoming years all major chips companies will hit market with new GPUs. While one company sells extremely expensive GPU with astronomical profit margin others will not sit and watch.
I see CNBC is still pushing completely useless new casts.
