Silver Springs State Park Kayaking adventure

- I kayaked Silver Springs State Park and had the river to myself for most of the time that I was out there exploring on the water. I saw a gator, lots of birds and manatees. It was a beautiful morning adventure and a very peaceful recharge.

We use 10' sit on top kayaks and enjoy our time on them. I can rack the kayaks on the rack and put the bikes in the bed of the truck and then hitch up the camper! Nice place you picked to kayak.
Was born in Sarasota but didn't spent much time there being an Army brat. Always love seeing the manatees on film. Haven't seen them in real life. We went down (from PA) many moons ago to silver springs and did the glass bottom boat tour in the spring. Thanks for showing them and you on your relaxing trip.
I love the manatees! They are all over the springs around here in the winter so I go see them every chance I get ☀️
That is my most favorite place to kayak. We live in IL but our son lives in Ocala, and we spend Jan/Feb between there and our daughter's outside of Orlando. I tried to get a campsite there, but it was always full. We just bought a 15TB, (also have a T@B) and it will make the trip with us this year.
I absolutely LOVE your videos. Question from someone not as adventurous as I would like to be, like you: alligators, aren't you afraid of them? LOL!! I know they're a thing in Florida, but I didn't know people kayak and things amongst them. Please excuse my ignorance.
I’m not afraid of them anymore….when they are at a good distance away from me lol. For the most part, they mind their own business 🐊 night time would be a different story
