This exact light (left one) i need to replace on my car. Thanks for the instruction, very short straight understandable and EPIC! You saved my day good sir! :)
Replaced within 5 minutes everything works as expected. Only problem is to reach it, requires little bit of patience. Thanks for the tutorial once again!
I found that the rounded contacts on mine had, a dark colour to them. I just gave them a slight scrape with a knife. Put back in and now working again. Thanks for the video, it did help. I did use a meter on the 2 contacts, with the bulb installed. Open circuit before the contacts scrape. I had already established the bulb was ok.
Thank you very much for this tutorial! I changed the indicator light after figuring out where it was located. Initially I thought I had to take the bumper and the hole lightning system out, but then I figured it was much easier, thanks to your tutorial . Greetings from Concepción, Chile. You are awesome!!
Really useful video, mate! I do appreciate your help. I've just fixed my left indicator light thanks to your tutorial. Actually, the bulb was absolutely fine but somehow the light indicator has been failing every other day. I did not know why. I took my car 3 times to different garages in order to make sure everything was okay and they always charged me £10 every time, only for taking out the bulb, checking it was all right and then put it into the holder again. In the beginning, the light indicator worked well but after a few days, it started failing again. I really do not know the reason, mate! The thing is that I was a bit fed up of going to the garage for the same issue. As said, thanks to you, I've been able to take it out, check it and then put it back again. Now, the light is working again. Let's see how's going in the future. Please, keep on going with your tutorials. You're so good, mate!! Got my LIKE as usual!!
Hi José, This is fantastic news! I really appreciate your feedback. For people like you the work with the channel is worth it! :) Thank you for being AWESOME!!! Cheers
Jose: I have experienced the same problem as you on both sides of the car. I reckon the problem is due to slight corrosion at the contacts where the part which Is it Fixed Yet? took out from the car makes electrical contact with the power supply at the inner part of the lamp assembly. These inner contacts are difficult to get access to without the hassle of removing the entire assembly of front lamps on the particular side of the car. I have even sometimes had the indicator not working then after going through a small pot-hole the jolt restored contact. When a front indicator lamp does not work, either through the bulb failing or through poor electrical contact, the side repeater lamp and also the rear indicator still flash but at a much faster rate than when the whole system is working correctly.
Awesome video!! Today I already bought all the bulbs!!! Thanks very much. Tomorrow I´ll try to replace in my car!!! One more time, thanks very much!!!!
What might the problem be if the bulb is new and the signal still doesn't work? I have this problem on the left side: the signal and the low beam do not function, the rest of them are. The bulbs are new. I tested them on the other side and they work. Thank you for your answer.
Thank you so much, I was having trouble getting the bulb to pop out, this was so clear, I really appreciate it
Thanks - really useful and clear guide: saved me £10 getting the garage to do it
Hi,
I am very glad to hear that! :)
Keep up the good work.
Cheers
Many thanks. Great video with very clear instructions. I was able to change my bulb myself 😀
