Really sweet little video. I live just across the harbour from Cobh in a village called Crosshaven. You could have walked to the train station in Cobh and taken the short and interesting journey to Cork city centre, but I actually think it great that you spent your time in Cobh, which is one of our most under appreciated little towns. I'm sure others have pointed this out, but the Titanic never actually came into the inner harbour ... she anchored outside off of Myrtleville, but passengers and cargo were ferrried out via special purpose built boats. Best wishes, and enjoy your journey ... slån

Surely you must have visited the place where I (yours Truly) laid several bricks and blocks on a 3 bed semi detached housing developement in 1974, working with my father when aged 15 - 16.
I've been in London 35 years but I was sure they would have put a plaque there in my honour :)
We drove from home, 200 mtrs from Shandon Steeple in Cork City.
Sorry about the indulgent whimsy. Yesterday I watched both London uploads. Not the best hotel location for you both (or room) to walk from. I hope you get to see it properly one day.
Yes, it was originally Queenstown in 1912, but it was changed to Cobh long before the '70's.
It had a more direct involvement with the German sinking of the Lusitania in 1916(?) as so many survivors were brought ashore right on the quays.
I didn't know the Titanic was moored right up to the harbour. I thought it had to be stationed much farther out and passengers (& what little cargo) were ferried there - but at 16 .....
