We're not all the same, it seems only about 10% of us are capable of not being tribal. Most humans are tribal, barbarous and cruel. Even humans themselves know it, and it is one of the reasons people don't want to have children.
I agree with you for the most part, but I believe there are many reasons s why the birth rate has gone down in many countries. I think one of the biggest factors may have to do with the economics of raising children. And yes, people do say that they do not wish to bring up children in this type of world/environment.
