Anti-Flag have been going on so long and they still put out such amazing music. I've been listening for 15 years. And seen them live twice, both times the band always make a point to meet the fans, and they are so sweet and appreciative. I adore them.

@@PaulVanwalleghem i mean you're simplifying things a little there. Not every single song is only 4 chords (also at least their 4 chord songs aren't all the same major chord progression). Sure they don't have the most complicated chord progressions but neither do 85% of other punk bands. What they do have is a great sound, lot of energy, and a good meaning. They definitely do have a sort of formula for song writing in terms of structure, but it fuckin works for them. Plus their lyrics are top notch, like you said.

I discovered them in 2004 I believe, pirating music when I was in 7th grade starting with the song "You've Gotta Die For Your Government" and downloaded a bunch more from there :P It was one of my entries into punk rock and leftism.

AntiFlag has a great catalogue. They’ve watered down their sound a bit, but I think that’s by design-It’s a lot more accessible to folks who aren’t 20+ year veterans of the punk scene, and thus makes their political message more accessible too.
I agree. Tbh, The People or the Gun is the last Anti-Flag album that I think was amazing (Die for Gov't through People it the Gun), but I always love these guys doing what they want.

Anti Flag and Strike Anywhere two of the best Anti Prop bands 8ve seen them both 3 times each I wish more people would listen to lyrics these days instead of just a beat or the music to understand the meaning of true art/music.
This is my favorite I have heard so far from the new album and I have loved them all so much!! This is A CRAZY ANTHEM🤘🔥 I have to see them live sometime!

Part of me likes to think that after the main character of the video is killed, the person who takes the glasses is Roddy Piper's character from They Live.
I have been a fan of them since I heard new kind of army. I think I have seen them almost 10 times. First time seeing them was at warped tour in phoenix , and they were on a 3rd stage. They are so amazing. As an older person, I appreciate the slowness and intensity of their lyrics.
