Sir whether SGB units bought from secondary market via zerodha is also eligible for 2.5% interest rate? Also if I am buying 10 units of SGBJUL29 like SIP every month, whether 2.5% interest is payable only on the first 10 units bought of this particular tranche ?
You'll get the 2.5% interest in the bank account linked to your demat account irrespective of whether you bought the sgb on primary issue or secondary market
Thanks Alok sir for resuming the daily bytes, can you please share the website which you use for sharing the heatmap of index with returns based on market cap.

Hi Sir, At SGN analysis can you explain total yield to maturity its quite confusing
Yield to maturity is the total rate of return earned when a bond makes all interest payments and repays the original principal.
When is the ex date (interest recording) - so that we can buy before interest and not after?
Thank you , Alokji...🌹
You actually predicted what could happen 2 years ago!
I will have to see this again now :)
