Planned Work: Because of Track Maintenance,
1. Downtown (C) Trains ran express from 145th Street to Canal Street
2. Downtown (D) Trains ran local from 145th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle

did you find any R211T?
The R211T didn’t run during this time. They’re not allowed to run express in service along Central Park West.
@@Bklynkid52 oh but I saw some R211Ts on the C train though
@@certainlycornenel74 It wouldn’t have been when the video took place because they didn’t run during that time. Anytime before or after would’ve been fine.
@@Bklynkid52Only downtown Cs ran express. The R211T must’ve been an uptown C.
@@jadenmuniz8817 They didn’t run them at all. It also doesn’t make sense to run a train in one direction.
That's a weird service change. Like why did the D run local between 145th Street to 59th Street Columbus Circle/Central Park Southwest in exchange for the C operating express?
@@JohnlukeSabile99963 It was because of switch replacement work that prevented trains from the lower level of 145th Street to run express, so they did a C and D swap to maintain some sort of consistent service.
