Great content Alice, picked up a vote from me. Best of luck with the awards. You and Chris Cowlin at Spurs (big Ange fan here) are the only non-Liverpool podcats I watch regularly.
Some great points as usual Alice. Possibly a bit more respect for Quansah and Jones and LFC backup players. They are not as light as you think amd that's why no transfer urgency. Slot likes Jones and was starting Quansah until one game where we played a long ball team. I think he still has the quality needed for successful rotation.
United, Arsenal, and Liverpool are the teams that have developed decades worth of players through their academies (many of which have sold to offset purchases). City 115 just bought their way to the top through questionable means (Chelsea as well to a degree). I put more respect on Hammers, Leicester, and even Spurs than the Abu Dhabi sportswashers.
I will always respect Man Utd even as a rival. SAF raised the club with young players and rejects such as Cantona and from relegated teams like Keane.. Klopp also did it and now Arteta is trying doing the same.. building a club the right way instead of breaking 115 rules.
Could not agree more. Respect to all those teams who are doing things the right way, and not using unlimited money glitches like I used to do in GTA San Andreas.

No Alice...City would still win the title again this season. In fact, I think they could win it very easily as compared to the seasons when Klopp was the Liverpool manager. Remember Liverpool lost the title twice by just a point to City. Arsenal just dont possess the pedigree to snatch the title away from City. I do believe Liverpool could be the team to really challenge City this season although its Arne's 1st season only.
I'd be really conservative on that take. If for whatever reason City gets an injury to Haaland for any extended period of time it's basically over. Pep needs to find a way of managing Haaland throughout the entire season while staying competitive on all fronts like they usually do.
@@loz501 And i'm telling you this now, it's happening. Haaland will go down by November. Good thing, it'll be only a month before january but it's a busy season then. They have 6 top class attackers, No one has the strength on the wings counting Gakpo, Diaz, Salah and Chiesa, not counting Elliott and Szoboszlai or even Jota who is best on LW. They have 6 top class midfielders. Slot has mostly played Mac Allister, Gravenberch and Szobo, but Jones, Elliott and Endo are not far behind in ability. The only worry is CB. LB they have Tsimikas, Robertson and Gomez. Of course if we see injuries like we did over shot period of time post xmas, or like a few years ago, it is going to be a worry, but it would be so for any team, actually far worse for them, not counting the 42 player squad in Chelsea.
@@foongjunemeng8935 I'd hate to rely on Gomez and Endo as CBs. Gomez doesn't have the spatial awareness required to be a reliable CB, even as a 4th choice. I’d expect to see some of those in cup games but that’s about it, once we get a couple more injuries we would be toast. However touch wood, slot has a very good history for injury prevention / management.
The moment I heard Alice mention transfer activity again with Liverpool I switched off. I don't get Man United fans obsession with transfers. They never learn. The year Liverpool won the prem Liverpool made 0 signing until Christmas when they bought Takumi Minamino.
You said that lack of squad depth cost Liverpool last season but I think it was finishing. These are the number of times the big three hit the woodwork in the league last season. Liverpool 25 ; Arsenal 13 ; Man City 11.
Why are people saying Arsenal have the best defence when Liverpool have only conceded one goal? I know they haven’t played the best teams but you can only beat who’s in front of you.
Matip is still a free agent. It wouldn't surprise me if he's been given the nod that should we get a key injury at centre back, we sign him until the end of the season.
City are still favourites make no mistake about that. Arsenal's attack will cost them they're depending on their defenders scoring and defending to win the games lol.
I still think Man City are the favourite to lift the PL trophy although their chances have reduced slightly. I believe Man City might go and get Zubimendi in the winter transfer to fill the gap. Gundogan and Kovacic are good enough to fill the gap and help Man City get the W.
Quansah for Konate, Endo if Gravenberch. Gomez can fill in on the left or fill in for konate also. Worst comes to worst bring Bradley in and put TAA in midfield. I'm not overly concerned personally and let's not forget. Slot has got this momentum in a few months without having most of his key players in pre season. I think most lfc fans would say we are still early days in to the Slot era. A good run in the UCL and League top 3 is not the worst start when you consider how long it took Arteta to get arsenal to this level.
I think people are underestimating just how bad the scheduling was for arsenal. This is literally best case scenario for them almost to be where they are now.
A game every 3/4 days for the big 3 over the next two months, that's madness. Injuries will determine this title, whose squad gets to Jan in the best shape.
@Alice- ECILA Football I like how you have so much confidence in Liverpool but we have flaws. We were horrible in our loss to Nottingham forest. We allowed 19 shots NINETHEEN SHOTS by Bournemouth against us and even against you guys we actually should have conceded some goals in that game. This is crazy but we've conceded the least goals yet when you look at things deeper our defence isn't actually good at all. Football is deeper than how Many goals you've conceded or how many clean sheets you have. How lucky you've been matters and we have been very lucky imo. I know all of this makes me sound like a negative fan but I'm just being honest. I hope Slot fixes these flaws because this is a serious opportunity to win the title
He is fixing it. The so called luck is buying him time. He will fix it, he is a rational coach. I think this season is the kind of season Liverpool might step up against big teams. But Liverpool has not yet played a formidable team except ManUtd But Forest is actually good. They have not lost yet. They knocked out Newcastle. Even the Brentford Liverpool beat were strong against Mancity
Hi Alice is there not some premier league rule that states all teams must complete all games in their respective leagues meaning any decision on city not including points deduction which can be deducted from whatever total hey have in January but actual relegation cannot be implemented until the end of the season
if you look at the stats. Gravenberch is leagues ahead of Declan Rice in numbers, But Rice is hailed as God's gift to football, 106 million vs Gravenberch 38 million price tag. Npo Arsenal fan or anyone for that matter can argue with stats, no matter how they try. I just saw some outrageous stats, Gravenberch has had 8 times as many tackles pr. game (2.4 vs 0.3) than Rice this season. and as a DM Rice's numbers are frankly pathetic.
Yes, as an Arsenal fan I agree. Unfortunately, it was 2 points dropped for Arsenal. Its a long season and City could still win it. Especially with their 12 player referee Oliver.
Liverpool for me. Arsenal will come a cropper, Forest was a one off, they were battered one goal would have equaled 3. International break was an issue. Theyll buy in January. Arsenal were battered yesterday, very lucky it wasnt 5 from city.
yeah you muppet.liverpool still has a clueless attack and if you had the 3 away games Arsenal just played you would have lost all of them. liverpool 3 rd at best
top chatting shit, arsenal were 10 seconds away from winning that game yesterday,so farvthis season arsenal played villa away, spurs away, atalanta away and man city away and they still didn't lose a single game and that's with out odergaard or merino,if u support liverpool fine but righting off arsenal saying liverpool are better when liverpool already lost at anfield to forest of all teams and arsenal havent even lost a game even though they've been down to 10 men twice also they played in italy on Thursday had 1 days rest and had to travel to man city who played wensday and still got a result
City will probably sign a superstar DM in January Alice. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw a boat load of money at Zubermendi. City are literally playing football manager cheat mode.
Liver ok he better squad depth than Arsenal an city , I don’t understand why are saying they need reinforcements they have the biggest attack in the league and their defence is very good ,mind you they’ve already suffered an injury spell this year arsenal and city haven’t with the amount of games we have it’s inevitable that they will, Pool are very strong candidates at the moment
R9dri missed the Euro final because of injury, and now it's worse. He needs to rest, and this is not the end of injuries because of the crazy new schedule.
@SkywalkerXxX what are you talking about?? He said that stuff after winning everything other than the world cup. If anything this injury just proves his point further.
@@danielpinatecaballero2612 mate I was drunk when I said that. Apologies. Yet I don't like it when players that earn millions, in a team full of stars, is forced to start a player every single game. If anything, Pep Guardiola should be resting him if he can't take the workload. That's why there 5 sub rules in the first place. Wonder how many games have pep rested him for? The problem isn't the schedule, just rest the player.
The disrespect is saying Arne slot will challenge 😂 Liverpool aint challenging and its not even a jibe. Probably I’m salty but Slot is coming to premier league and you think suddenly it’s easy to win the Epl? Do you know what it takes to get 90 points in your first season? Because believe me that is what Arsenal are aiming for, Even Guardiola didn’t do that in his first season. So tone down Liverpool, they will still drop off, it’s not even a bad thing. The competition is too strong for now. Plus there is alot of uncertainty around how he is going to adapt to some games. Premier league will always find you out. Same thing you said about Spurs last season. You see how that went despite they won the first 10 games. I will be shocked if he challenged. But I’m not even buying it.
At this rate if Slot can manage the ego and moral in that team and the player are willing to break through walls for him like klop. I see no difference, liverpool will in did challenge if those conditions are net. Especially of they have less injuries. This is simply because their defense is improved and teams have not yet masters Slot like they did for Klop.

Ive been waiting for this moment for years now. Finally its happening 😂
Yeahhhhhhhhh, baby.
You'll see them performing, time after time,
YNWA.
The PGMOL will fill in for any gap that Rodri's absence will leave
A game every 3/4 days for the big 3 over the next two months, that's madness. Injuries will determine this title, whose squad gets to Jan in the best shape.
The pgmol var team will decide this title. Just like last season
But Liverpool has not yet played a formidable team except ManUtd
But Forest is actually good.
FFP Should be taken respectively,
For sake of the competition,
For sake of the community...
Why on earth would you take last seasons second half stats into account? It's absolutely not relevant...
For me is ridiculous do a trial like that during the season.
Thought you'd have said Gabriel or Raya to be the standout gooner 🤔
I voted for you.
How you snuck United into the title conversation is admirable 😂
Liverpool to bag their 20th title! Sorry but just setting a gentle expectation.
Even with Rodri in, it will be hard for MC coz LFC is getting stronger!
It looked bad when Rodri went down for the 2nd time.
if you look at the stats.
That freaking Stones goal made them still favorites imo :(
Yes, as an Arsenal fan I agree. Unfortunately, it was 2 points dropped for Arsenal. Its a long season and City could still win it. Especially with their 12 player referee Oliver.
Somebody needs to stay humble
Definitely with 10 men we defended brilliantly and Gabriel missed a sitter well done you Gunners 👍
I can see City poaching Zubimendi now
I don't think it's just that simple, even with injuries and form and the know how. I think referees play a big role too
Love your channel, nice unbiased videos. But are you doing time at her majesty's prison? No cell mate?
8:05 No Alice, Your team is 2nd on 12pts 😝
Liverpool have had one of the easiest starts in the league and still lost to forest .. arsenal have had the hardest start itl
Alice, we lfc didn't need a good transfer window. Slot inherited a very good premier league squad, we dont need to keep on buying like United lol
Arsenal doesn't have a better depth than Liverpool.
In attack YES. Otherwise, arsenal have better depth in midfield and defense than liverpool.
@@limofootball Defence is debatable. Goalkeeping goes to Liverpool too.
City will probably sign a superstar DM in January Alice. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw a boat load of money at Zubermendi. City are literally playing football manager cheat mode.
you got it
Liver ok he better squad depth than Arsenal an city , I don’t understand why are saying they need reinforcements they have the biggest attack in the league and their defence is very good ,mind you they’ve already suffered an injury spell this year arsenal and city haven’t with the amount of games we have it’s inevitable that they will, Pool are very strong candidates at the moment
⚠️FACT⚠️
ManU will win the PL before Arsenal🤏
Bmore Alice 🙂👍🏾👍
R9dri missed the Euro final because of injury, and now it's worse.
He needs to rest, and this is not the end of injuries because of the crazy new schedule.
I reckon that's why he was complaining eh. He didn't say shit while his cheating team was winning.
❤Diaz
These fined tune close nit observations she makes tells me she could go for coaching badges or top scout .Imagine Alice's top 11 players !
Saka their best player that was subbed of because of a red card.Dont you think your best player should be playing 90min and keep your team in the game imo
Genuinely think chelsea will surprise everyone. Look at how we handled West ham..honestly we're gonna be better than most give credit for
Should be Aston Villa not Chelsea😂
So city lost 4 of the 5 games they didnt have rodri play last season 😬
Vote for Alice! My favourite content creator. She’s one of the only creators that has put some respect on Gravs name. She knew he’d be special.
Alice has elite ball knowledge.
Arsenal have to win the league now, Pep can't cope when Rodri is out.
City will be in trouble this season if Haaland is injured.
Everyone needs to chill. City has enough squad depth to survive without Rodri despite how good he is
Yeah they still have Gundogan
Speedy recovery to Rodri. I still think they have what it takes to compete for the title. If they lose Haaland, then they're screwed.
In regards to Rodri- becareful what you wish for. He probably has played his last game for Man shitty as he wont play for they in league 2, 115 😂😂😂
Arsenal are definitely not more clinical than Liverpool and tbh their attack is average.
Has anyone seen man City vs Aston villa game ? Gundogan practically won them the match single handedly not to forget the contributions from foden and KDB you'll be a fool to count Man City out of the title 😅
Lady qho rotates wirh casmimro? A pylon ❤
why be worried arsenal/Liverpool win the league, its far better than city
WILL CITY IGNORE THE FINACIAL PAIRPLAY AGAIN & GO FOR ZUDAMENDI
Have a lemsip pronto 🤧
