Great analysis Alice. A classic game of 2 halves. Arsenal's so called injury crisis was greatly exaggerated. We were poor in the 1st half and dominated by them. The Gooners should of killed the game then. 2nd half we were a different animal and should of finished off the game. We responded in the best possible way. Dominated them bar the last 10 minutes. We need to be more clinical. Gooners time wasting while 2-1 up at home was the funniest thing to see. The difference in mentality is stark. Ultimately a good away point considering that we came from behind twice. For me this was a missed opportunity.
Liverpool look leggy after travelling to Germany and having a day less to rest. Also Liverpool were away from home and with a new manager playing away at Arsenal for the first time, the game plan for the team could be to start slow and reserve energy. In the 2nd half, Liverpool started to pick up pace even before any of the Arsenal's substitution were made. Liverpool was the better team. I believe at Anfield this team will beat the strongest Arsenal 11 put together.
I'd have put Joe Gomez on Saka. Has the speed and strength that is needed against him. Andy Robertson was poor on him. McAllister wasn't good today either and when the camera zoomed in on him he looked wrecked. The form Gravenberch is in I think he could have played with Endo instead of McAllister and got forward more often. Anyway, one for Slot because I don't pick the team.....yet.
Defensively, Gomez is the stronger choice as LB or RB. The problem is Joe is so one footed that he slows the attack down when he plays on the left side.
Considering the uncertainty around lfc at the start oTS its been fantastic to watch the many wins and this draw. This draw might likely have been lost without Arne. If nunez was scoring we'd look like monsters.
Think it's a good point for Liverpool, but not so much for Arsenal. Takeaway this weekend is definitely the gap that is developing between the top two and the rest of the teams. Note, Villa breathing down Arsenal's neck. Chelsea a point behind. They have more to worry about.
@@keaghanhenry4407 Yes I realise that fact. They've done what they deemed correct in matches against the current top 4, and you can't hold that against them. It can not be changed now. It's the matches against those teams not in the top 4 currently, they've played, that has to be looked at and learnt from. That would explain their current position. Better results in these matches, and yesterday's result, would not have hurt this much,as they'd still be running neck and neck with the top 2,or possibly even setting the pace as table toppers. Hence the draw yesterday will be a slightly worse feeling for Arsenal, than for Liverpool. The trick now is to put it aside and move on. The others, could and may have similar issues, and Arsenal must be in a position to take advantage. Dropping points in future matches, has to be limited if not eliminated, altogether. Apologies, just stating the obvious.
The entire narrative about injuries etc has been bizarre this week!. They were missing one CB which they brought on themselves and Odegaard!. Liverpool had no Jota and Allison. Also they played at home Tuesday and Liverpool flew back late Wednesday from Germany. I would have taken a draw before we kicked off but happy to finish strong in the second half away. Where did all this “5 players missing” nonsense come from?!.
Well we were winning until Big Gabi and Timber also got injured and had to be subbed! Saka also couldn't finish the game but I think that was cos he was silent in the second half
Very fair analysis. Gotta add, I felt pool lost the midfield until 60 min subs. Mr. Handsome or szoboszai helped alot. Diaz lacked top fitness imo. Always felt a draw on the cards. Rice is a great player and so dangerous on his sets. Pool fan btw. I also watched the United Hammer game and I gotta say, I explained to my roomate all the issues going on w United and said that well I'm not complaining. I saw immediate 1v1 post match Ten Hag dialog and heard him say he thought they played one of thier best games this year and blamed the officiating of late. That for me was nails on the chalkboard. It pissed me off as a human and im not a supported or worse one who has financial stake in the club. Just a wow moment. And, today they sacked him. Yup. Tell ya, I am a pool fan, but I still want to watch good football games and I was jaded watching that tripe wating for Liverpool Arse match. So much is wrong at United atm. It's bigger than the management. The club overall needs alot of surgery under the skin. Sorry for the supporters, but hey pool went thru plenty too for years. So, all the best. I would like to see an organic reset in the league. I kinda miss our rivalry at the top. Down with City!
Glad that Liverpool got the point after Arsenal were the better team in the 1st half. Title race is wide open but City looked dodgy last season as well, and still won it in the end. So they are huge favorites given their experience.
The fact that Trent is talking about himself winning the Balon d'Or, yet Salah has never finished higher than 5th is an absolute disgrace and shows me how deluded Trent is.
Unfortunately, you can see the time spent with Jude has been rubbing off on him. It feels like a lifetime ago when we thought the opposite was happening, heh? And the more Trent talks, the more I am not fussed if he goes... if we made money, but obviously, well, that in all liklihood isn't happening. That Balon D'or waffle 48 hours ago really rattled me ngl.
And that delusion you speak of is what is going to drive him to Real Madrid. And that, despite the fact that Arne has been working very hard with Trent to help him become the best right back in the world. He's been drinking that Kool Aid that Bellingham has been feeding him. I wonder if he has been watching Real Madrid and noticing what a mess Bellingham and Mbappe have been making of their careers because of their youthful arrogance.
Yeah it wasn't the brightest thing to say. Unfortunately though things have been known to be taken off of context y media before..shock horror 🤷 I still believe he will stay, it's just about wages imo, can a full back ( Trent is much more than just a FB) really become one of the highest paid players at a club? Defenders rarely get striker money. We'll see, he needs to stop listening to fkn Bellingham I know that, he turned down Liverpool because we wouldn't offer him highest earner wages, despite his family urging him to join.... facts, Trent is not leaving, if he does, no problem we already have his replacement at club, young Bradley is ready to go. Saka's goal reminded me of Sadio scoring some years back in a similar position. We need him and Coutinho. Our Attack really has tried up if you take Salah away. We rely on Gakpo. We're a void without Jota. Look at what Brendan Rodgers even formulated.
Fair. But with Gabbie and Saliba on the pitch, we would have won that game. We have had a lot of bad luck, and the injuries to key players have forced us to change our game. The Ødegaard loss has had a massive impact on how we play, and it seems like every game, someone is going down injured. Injuries are just part of the game, as we all know, but we seem to have been particularly unlucky. Chuck in the red cars, and I think we are doing well to still be within touching distance.
After 2 seasons smashing it, I thought this would be our year (Arsenal) but to me this has been a shambles of a start of a season! We defo not winning any trophies 🤦♂️
I thought it was easy to sort that team even in the first half. All he needed to do switch Jones and Mcallister around. Mc Allister struggled today don’t think he is fully fit yet.
Gabriel dived and injured himself and timber ran out of legs as did a few arsenal players all while trying to waste time i didnt see any time wasting after Liverpool equaliser..strange innit
One problem I noticed was the needless long balls we kept playing knowing fully well the NBA-esque defenders that Arsenal has. The goal is to always try to play the ball to the feet of your defenders or use the height of your No.9 as a target man while others try to feed on the second balls. A draw is better than a loss as we are a touching distance with leaders Man City while also 4 points ahead of Arsenal. Szobo coming on in the 2nd half just up the press and brought some calm into the midfield. Lastly, Robbo is no first-team material. Tsimikas should be getting the start ahead of him from now on as he can build on this game-by-game.
Tsimikas was poor at Leipzig, and Robertson subbed on to play great immediately. This match it was Robertson who looked off, and Tsimikas who looked fabulous as a sub.
They way liverpool fans was talking before the game is like they already won it,was seeing 4-0 and 3-0 scorelines in favor of liverpool and now all I'm seeing is they happy with a point but were all confident they gonna smash arsenal at the emirates
Hi Alice and everyone. What we learned? I think we should thanks Gabriel went out. Since tat substitution Liverpool could run and play as use to. The first half was an entire drama because we didn´t get the ball and the midfield was totaly crashed ( may be Endo should get in earlier to balance). That point is a good news.
Just interested to hear your opinion on this take, were Arsenal negative in the second half? Or did Liverpool's resurgence in the second half make Arsenal look negative?
When arsenal go ahead they spend more time on the floor and wasting time than actually playing football. Getting yellow cards for time wasting with almost 30 minutes to go as a title contender at home is laughable.
The only way to win the league is to build a big lead of at least ten points b4 the last 10 games of the season ahead of man city. City barely drops any points in the second half of the season. Look at their record. The season is almost over. City needs to have a serious slump in the next 10 games for Liverpool to stand a chance of winning the league. It took 99 points for us to win a title. The second highest in history. 95 and 97 points, which in 99% of English top league history wins the league, yet we came second. Klop should have had 3 Premier League titles instead of 1. Pep is the goat.
Mohamed sallah should be highly honoured in liverpool trust md he is a big game player and has helped liverpool a lot. Liverpool should never sell mohamed sallah and virgil van dikh. Trent to madrid is a wise taught he could be replaced. But sallah and van dikh never will be replaced trust md this two are the best in liverpool. Konyate also did well. Sobozslai should be starting he was thd point of difference in the second half when he came in liverpool started to dominate the game. But let be fair a draw at away in the emirate is massive. Liverpool are still in the title race and i believe man city will drop points trust me. Arne slot is a tactician and a good manager and will win the premier league trust me.
Who else thinks that since slot came in tsimikas looks better than robbo? I've said robbo ain't been that good for past couple years probs since he broke his arm. I love robbo but I think he is the next one who needs replacing
Why all of the people keep talking as if Liverpool were fielding our top 11 and arsenal were handicapped with 2 or 3 of their main man injured!, Look, Liverpool without allison, diogo jota, harvey elliot and chiesa.. u can ignore chiesa as he’s always injured, Liverpool have 3 starters that didnt play as well, come on guys, u have to be fair, its currently looking super one sided
Plenty of good stats in Liverpool favour and coming from behind twice to draw at Arsenal home and many Liverpool fans are still not happy, saying they miss the attack-attack-attack football under Klopp. Man City meanwhile have been praised for overtaking Liverpool at the summit having beaten Southampton 1-0 at Etihad playing under the same coach with a far stronger squad than Liverpool.
Lol, we literally lost the lead attempting to attack....You can not say we didn't try to score a third, I praise Liverpool because they kept winning all the duels. Especially Konate
Here's the thing with my favourable 4-2-3-1: If Jota doesn't play, switch Salah and Nunez. Give Nunez a new Niche' take the pressure off him and play Salah as an out-n-out Centre Forward.
Arsenal played not to lose in the second half. That seriously irritated me. For a side that keeps talking about wanting to win the title and that’s how they play in the second half? No balls. Kept conceding possession and giving the ball away. Thinking that you can sit on a 2-1 lead against Liverpool is nonsense.
Not many recognise how good Konate is or has been for liverpool, thanks for your great, unbiased analysis Alice

What’s funny because you guys are always the victim no one talks about your injuries except you we have a lot of injuries even our bench are injured then Gabriel and timber got injured also during before Liverpool scored
@@CashMNeyand we had Chelsea then Germany then to you arsenal also had extra day rest too liverpool was always going to be tired
@CashMNey what is that supposed to mean always the victim are trying to say something there
@CashMNey who's talking about injuries now just wipe the eyes will yeah
Says a guy who supports Arsenal? Don't you lot think there is a conspiracy against you, That every decision against you is wrong and you are the "victims" of refs 😂@CashMNey
Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Defensively, Gomez is the stronger choice as LB or RB. The problem is Joe is so one footed that he slows the attack down when he plays on the left side.
Gomez vs Saka last year at Anfield was a great battle by both players ⛳
@@robbiekop7 Wow, that's a really great saying. I must remember it. Thanks.
You realise Arsenal played the current top 4 and they still 5 points off a city team who don't look convincing either?
But your stats shows very even game slightly Liverpool edge although Trent and robbo had a stinker today giving away the ball cheaply
Robo hasn't really came back after the injury. Sux to see it.
@@anonitachi6966 sad bro
The entire narrative about injuries etc has been bizarre this week!. They were missing one CB which they brought on themselves and Odegaard!. Liverpool had no Jota and Allison. Also they played at home Tuesday and Liverpool flew back late Wednesday from Germany. I would have taken a draw before we kicked off but happy to finish strong in the second half away. Where did all this “5 players missing” nonsense come from?!.
Well we were winning until Big Gabi and Timber also got injured and had to be subbed! Saka also couldn't finish the game but I think that was cos he was silent in the second half
Liverpool were without alisson, jota, bradley, elliot and chiesa
Yeah I agree Liverpool also missing key players. I was talking more about how Gabriel came off and back four was a bit unusual for Arsenal
Clueless. Absolutely clueless.
Arsenal as a football club gone into complete victim mode, all I've heard in all the punditry is about injuries, so boring
Nice review👏
He can piss off to Real for all we care, we have a better and younger RB in Bradley
He has ambition as does Salah, why shouldn't a player aim to be the best?
YNWA 🔥
No one is talking about the fact that Liverpool are the only team to take points off of Arsenal without the benefit of a red card.
Yeah pretty sure if gabriel and timber didn't go off injured arsenal wins that game, salah was a ghost till they went off injured
@@chadswart7017Nah you dont know ball if you think that way. Arse players were all gassed and that includes Gab and Timber. Its a shame Pool didnt go for the kill after Salahs goal othewise Emirates be crying.
@@castropassion667 Liverpool werent even good, got out played first half then looked abit better 2nd half, like i said the only reason salah even got that chance was cos gabriel and timber went off injured cos when they were on the pitch salah and nunez was missing

@@davidperfette1425B am sureid allison was in goal would hv assisted arsenal the winning goal😂
Liverpool had one day less rest day, they had to travel from germany midweek. Arsenal had 1.5 days more rest and played at home in two games.
Saka's goal reminded me of Sadio scoring some years back in a similar position. We need him and Coutinho. Our Attack really has tried up if you take Salah away. We rely on Gakpo. We're a void without Jota. Look at what Brendan Rodgers even formulated.
Alice is a secret Liverpool fan 😉
All Liverpool changes were needed, and all impact the game positively, we were toothless in attack and still got the draw, ynwa
They kept fighting thru the end.,
...YNWA....
you have been labelled A GRIFTER
I usually agree with you more often than not but Partey was by far Arsenal's best player. Was backed up by the stats as well.
I thought it was easy to sort that team even in the first half. All he needed to do switch Jones and Mcallister around. Mc Allister struggled today don’t think he is fully fit yet.
Salahs goal put him equal on goals with Robbie Fowler. Only 12 behind Henry. Saka may be a big game player, but so is Salah!
Gabriel dived and
injured himself and timber ran out of legs as did a few arsenal players all while trying to waste time i didnt see any time wasting after Liverpool equaliser..strange innit
SHOCKING.🤯.
Saliba, Odegard.... oh no.... try doing without Allison! and Jota
Add Califori, half fit Saka, Gabi and Timber nicked off. Yeah talk is cheap
Hiya Alice can u do a video on how Ruben Amorim would likely set Man Utd up and potential signings under him.
Salah the mystery for history... FACT 😏
We need to get the likes of hincapie, inacio or hancko in the winter and another midfielder if we want to compete.
Thomas Partey had been the best midfielder in the league this year
Arsenal got a free gift from old man Robertson. Christmas came early.
Came to watch Manchester United videos from man u can but found every other teams videos.
Best result for me as a man u fan
But united are not even in a title race how does it affect u😅
Liverpool played below par and got a draw away at the "title favourites".
They way liverpool fans was talking before the game is like they already won it,was seeing 4-0 and 3-0 scorelines in favor of liverpool and now all I'm seeing is they happy with a point but were all confident they gonna smash arsenal at the emirates
@@chadswart7017 People thought Saka and Timber wouldn't play, I however knew they would (classic Arsenal tactics)

Trent was garbage...except for the couple of world class passes! Drives me mad
Nobody fears man united anymore WEST HAM 2 UTD 1 😂
Hi Alice and everyone. What we learned? I think we should thanks Gabriel went out. Since tat substitution Liverpool could run and play as use to. The first half was an entire drama because we didn´t get the ball and the midfield was totaly crashed ( may be Endo should get in earlier to balance). That point is a good news.
Sakas' assists from corners
Just interested to hear your opinion on this take, were Arsenal negative in the second half? Or did Liverpool's resurgence in the second half make Arsenal look negative?
Hey Alice... I suggest, with level of analytical skills and ability, you consider going into coaching as a career.... ❤
When arsenal go ahead they spend more time on the floor and wasting time than actually playing football. Getting yellow cards for time wasting with almost 30 minutes to go as a title contender at home is laughable.
SALAH 😍
Sorry md is me my phone touch has a problem that why
I really enjoy your channel but i wish you slowed down a little bit.
Who else thinks that since slot came in tsimikas looks better than robbo? I've said robbo ain't been that good for past couple years probs since he broke his arm. I love robbo but I think he is the next one who needs replacing
CARERRAS FROM BENFICA could be an ideal LB for Liverpool.
How's 14th feeling Alice ? Starting to look like you shouldve kept Ole

Merino was offside. Clear and obvious!
Here's the thing with my favourable 4-2-3-1: If Jota doesn't play, switch Salah and Nunez. Give Nunez a new Niche' take the pressure off him and play Salah as an out-n-out Centre Forward.
That's why you aren't a football manager, utter nonsense 🤡

Every time I hear Steve McManaman comment on a game, I come here to clean my ears out.
A bad point for Arsenal. Even with the weakest team, Oliver towed the VAR line.
Talk sense..they ended up with an even weaker back 4 than what they started with
I want Ait-Nouri from wolves to replace Robertson personally
