Jason unironically solved the Billlie lore but the fact that he subconsciously did it and was like, "oh I didn't even know that was a thing, I was joking" is VERY META to how one of the timelines is literally the girls losing memory of Billlie, LMFAO

This whole reaction is such a gem!! It's songs like these that are made for close listening, and with the fusion of funk, jazz and pop, they've targeted the ReacttotheK crew specifically :P Jason just casually nailing the entire narrative arc of Billlie is just WILD. The themes of the girls searching for a lost childhood friend who was stolen from them, there are lots of parallels with the loss of innocence and the growth into self-identity and adulthood. It reflects a lot musically too, with the explorations of so many genres, we're watching them discover themselves more and more from album to album!!
the great thing about billlie is you don't have to choose between enchanted night and eunoia, you can have those, oh, and take this nevertheless too! and here's some extra-ordinary and a lionheart as well. and don't forget your various and precious! their discography makes me so happy. I became a hardcore fan faster than ever before after their vocals were so good on their first win encore stage, and i checked out their music and it was just everything to me. they must have some of the best (and well varied) use of vocals because listening to their music just ascends me straight to heaven every time. and they're SO charming too.
nevertheless is my fave!!! also mcguffins from the previous album, both songs have sooooo many layers but everything just works and blends smoothly it's so addictive! ❤ I got instantly hooked on these two the most just from the readers 😊
Billie's Eunoia easily turned me into a stan. Everything from the incredible music to the amazing concept and even the stellar album series they have been dropping. This generation has really blown me away, as someone who is an old school Kpop stan.
Eunoia is probably one of the best songs of the year. The production is great, it showcases the groups vocals and rap very well. It's a wild trip, but with a purpose. Sometimes with K-Pop you have this feeling of Writers and Producers working on the same song independently, without really communicating to each other, and then the song ends up being a lot of cool ideas, that clash with each other in a bad way. With this song, going through each section feels narratively driven, intentional. Enchanted Night, it's also a strong song. The groove pulls you in, and it envelops you in this soft moonlight kinda feeling. At this point, Billlie has one of the strongest Discographies in the 4th Gen. Much like Red Velvet, they experiment with all kinds of sounds and concepts, and still feel cohesive and distinct. Definitely a group to watch out for.
I really appreciate this reaction! I didn't know EUNOIA's chord progression also "flip-flop" between minor-major, which is really cool. The video helps me a lot understanding the song more deeply musically. it's funny you treated the songs as a vs; listening to the album, I experienced the 2 as a duology, with enchanted night almost serving as a prequel. i'm new to billlie & this is the first kpop mv that inspired me to read the source book. love that the reactors identified musical elements that tied into the themes from the book inspiration, like how wandering in the night is a release
This is one of my favorite comebacks this season. I didn’t really love their first two title tracks (loved the performances, the songs just didn’t make my playlist), but this comeback has completely sold me. I absolutely love how funky it is, it’s right up my alley.
By the way this is actually their fourth title or sixth if you count seasonal songs/special rerecord covers, if you didn’t know! It goes ringxring, snowy night, gingamingayo, patbingsu (& highway romance- both covers), ring ma bell, then eunoia.

I knew Billlie discography is amazing from the git go. Their musicality is totally different from other mainstream sounds. They pack a whole bunch in technicality each song in their album, that's crazy
.. It's the mystery you feel while listening to their music.... The darker vocals the give are the reason why I'm here I love the layers... (fav song from the album is nevertheless as it combines both opinions of enchanted night and eunoia heard here and adds more depth and flavor) Billlie gave what was to be expected and more... To me they are the 4th gen RV.. MYSTERY harmony awkward pureness in the colors of their voices...they really take advantage of the darker voices to fill out space and adds more depth

Billlie is sooo underrated. Their sound is somewhere between Loona and Red Velvet and I love them so much.
