LMAO "I'm going to do *everything* in my power to keep these videos under 30 minutes"
    *checks the time*
    Basically a 50 minute video.
That's hilarious! But I mean long videos are good on this type of thing honestly. If I'm investigating wanting to spend time on reading a certain book I'll need a more through rather than less thorough rundown on it. It's also cool to hear how the individual connects to the book, at the very least if the video is too long for a certain person they don't need to watch all of it.
My vote is keep it as long as you feel it should be, if you have more to add to that rank put it on there. It keeps it authentic when you are offloading how you see the book.

I’m going to disagree with Matt here. I’m ok with the early city watch books but Terry worked best, for me, with a few main characters. The witches are fantastic (especially witches abroad which totally takes the mickey out of a load of fantasy tropes), the death books are so human it’s wonderful and funny but it’s the misadventures of Rincewind that got me hooked. The first novel is just a set of short stories around Rincewind, the tourist and his luggage that may not be the best but set up the world well and it’s sequel shows the development that Terry put into the world. Have a read of equal rites and wyrd sisters or the colour of magic and the light fantastic.

This may be longer than 30 minutes but at least it’s shorter than the last one 😂, progress one step at a time

      @@MattsFantasyBookReviews couple of things.
      1. For two books we listening how nil was protecting this kid( long time since i read the book so forgot some names) and in book three the kid is just me tioned in the last chapter .
      2. Bo was shown to be a badass in the first two books but in the third he takes a hard back seat to nil. When fighting the female mage it is stated the bo has history with her so i was exoecting a geeat fight scene between the two of them what i got was bo was pinned after 2 seconds and in comes nil and says the day like nothing.
      3. Kresimir. For two books kresimir is made to be this powerful god and just like bo he takes a hard back seat in book 3. The twin gods come out of left gield not like a cool twist but just to fatten the book ..
      4. The finale fight felt like i was reading a fight scene from 1990 hercules tv show
