This is what I would say to any Jews, Protestants, Atheists, or flannel mouth Catholics who had a problem with her canonization--if she was Jewish enough for the Gestapo, she should be Jewish enough for anybody. End of story.
Why do people have a problem with Edith Stein? People can be so petty and ridiculous! Folks, GOD reads your hearts! Aren’t you scared hiding so much anger and hate? Be charitable to GOD. Love whatever HE loves; no questions asked, otherwise you’ll receive the same treatment later.
Yay communion of saints! Beyond any questions of politics or social issues, God asked her to die as a martyr and enter the utter darkness that is the Way.
