The way you've portrayed the character feels so vivid, as if they have a life and thoughts of their own. This is one of the best portrayals of Michael I've ever seen. Coincidentally, I happen to like both Michael and Dazai (though I actually prefer Chuya over Dazai). Watching them argue feels both complicated and interesting. I liked how, in the end, when Dazai tried to divert the conversation by irritating Michael, Michael ignored it and kept talking. Despite his dislike for Dazai, he still gave him advice from his own experience, which indirectly shows that Michael is indeed moving in a better direction. This creates an interesting contrast. Also, it was the first time I realized that they both hate the person who raised them and dislike being compared to them. It's fascinating.
The latest chapters are actually killing me like I cannot with these chapters. I'm going to continue being a delusional idiot by hoping that they're all alive and once the divine being is miraculously defeated they'll all reappear just like how they got sucked into the divine being.
