We certainly are Kerry, I love old Churches with all their history. Jean knew so much and pointed me to all the interesting things inside. Thank you for watching 🥰
You have made a beautiful video of our visit to the church! Well done as there was so much to see. Definitely one of my all time favourite churches it has such a nice peaceful feeling to it and so much history. Thank you for recording it all so well.
@jeanblemings5352 oh I'm so glad you enjoyed it Jean and thank you so much for taking us around. It was so nice to see you. Hope to see you again soon, and hope you didn't get too cold on your walk. Take care x
That was great Lynn, first video of 2025 and it's a church 👍 Its on my list to visit there are 5 soldiers from the first war war buried there, and I think it is not too far from Southwick station.
Thanks for watching John. I knew you'd find it interesting. In the last video I did with Jean we went here and I filmed the 5 Commonwealth Graves for you, remember? And that time the Church was closed. So thankful it was open today. Yes, please do visit. It's not far from Southwick Station, just a short walk westward and the cafe we went in is right by the station for your return. It does lovely coffees and cakes 😄 Happy New Year and Happy Church adventures John
@@LynnB_Ky Thank you Lynn, I get confused as the church is sometimes called by another name Kingston by sea i think and Southwick church is quite close by
@@johnf4883 Yes, that's right, it is sometimes called Kingston by Sea. There are other churches in Southwick: St Michaels, St. James, Southwick Methodist and Southwick Christian Community Church. There is also the Church of St Theresa of Lisieux on the north side of the A27 in Downland Avenue. In my other video with Jean, two weeks ago, we tried to go to St. Michael & All Angels but it was closed. It's very sad when they're not open. I checked the website today before we headed out to see this one. I hope you will enjoy your travels in Southwick/Kingston Buci John when you get over this way 🥰
Excellent start to the year Lynn on the video front. What an interesting church which I knew nothing about. Yours and Marq's videos certainly show us places close to home which I know nothing about.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment David. The Church was so interesting I am really glad Jean took us there; she was so knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love Marq's videos too 🥰
We are blessed with some amazing churches in Sussex! Thank you for sharing, Lynn, Jean and Ky

WOW thank you so much 🥰 Happy New Year and thank you for watching 🥰
Is this church , Norman or Saxon .
At 3:27 the information says "the present building replaces one of Saxon origin the remains of which were found in 1964"
Where is it?
Hi Ann, It's in Kingston Buci, in Shoreham by Sea, on the Shoreham and Southwick border 🥰
@@LynnB_KyThe church is normally open from about 10am-3pm 👍
@@PortsladeBySea Not every day though Mike 🥰
