I think if you don't like BTTF you either refuse to watch it or you're lying. Opie thinking Ant's a nerd talking about some obscure movie that wasn't seen by pretty much everyone. I believe Jim because his tastes are so odd but Opie is obviously going for edgy maaaaaaaan

Its probably just me, but Opie was actually kinda funny here. Nonetheless, I could have listened to them talk about Back to the Future for 3 hours.
It was just you unfortunately. His screaming at the end ruined any momentary tolerability he achieved in the beginning.

Whether or not Jim Norton realizes it, he is a non hip hipster. He constantly goes against the grain and tries to be ironic and random in his taste. Back to the Future, all 3 of them, are classics. They're not the best movies, nor have the best plotlines and acting, but they're damn fun and nostalgic for anyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s. They're just fun movies that never get old. Jim usually goes against what the majority in the room think and Opie, forget about it. He just goes along with whoever he thinks has the best idea. He has no brain of his own. Not shitting on little Jimmy, gotta love him. Just pointing out a fact about him.
The Most Interesting Man in Hyrule, ok.... But jimmy didn't say anything here and Opie was the one freaking out that they wouldn't shut up about the movie and throwing the fit at the end so everything you just said here is wrong
Let's get call it what is really is: Opie is simply not bright enough to discuss the intricacies of Back to the Future, which is pretty much a children's movie.

Elizabeth Shue wasn't the girlfriend in the original. she was recast as Marty's girl in 2&3. They got it backwards
