Back in the mid 1960s I was privileged to see Fernando Germani play at Bolton Parish Church (local to me), and he played the Passacaglia as part of the recital. I was sitting only a few feet away from the maestro, and was amused by the way he started playing the pedal opening before he'd even put the score on the music desk! Well, I was only a teenager at the time, so perhaps easily impressed - but it stuck with me. Your playing is a new experience for me, and long may it continue! I'm no longer a teenager (sadly!), and not easily impressed these days. I love your calm, relaxed playing style, which is somewhat reminiscent of that recital all those years ago!

Danke, danke, danke, Daria! Danke für die schönste Erinnerung für mich, die nun aufgeweckt wurde! Wie ich damals 1989 selber im gleichen alter am Spieltisch saß und spielte... Schön! Tolles Spiel und Hut ab! Der Künstler blättert und registriert selbständig! Übrigens- ich betreibe heutzutage ein Tonstudio. Gegen kleines Budget (Kaffekasse) würde ich die winzigen Kleinigkeiten in der Aufnahme beseitigen (z.B. bei 5:49), sodass man sich noch etwas entspannter fühlt. Bei Interesse bitte melden. Your Bach C dur is like a creme brulee with a pinch of salt which makes you crazy not knowing what makes it so delicious. My favorite of all C durs of those I ve ever heard in my life. (there was a few :) )
However .... I can imagine more romantic interpretation of Schumann BACH...I mean a bit less tight...
Passacaglia is textbook performance. Thank you for all this tonight. Its been a good three hours listening for me but could not stop it...

Outstanding performance - all around! What a great program, excellently prepared, and performed. Very oddly designed organ bench. No place to hook either heel when not using. At least this bench is adjustable.

Ottima musicista!! peccato forse solo la ripresa del suono,che non rende bene nei 16' a mio avviso...ma ottima mano ed interpretazione!
