Mid-Engine LS Pro Touring OBS Chevy Truck!

This awesome mid-engine, LS powered, OBS Chevy was built on a custom chassis with lots of cool touches such as a front mounted fuel cell, wide body work, a sequential transmission, and a whole lot more!
It is built and owned by John Owens of 40 Grit Design in Detroit, Michigan, who has been working on the project for 8 or so years. He's getting close to having it done, and it's going to be awesome to see how it performs on and off the track once he gets it all finished up.
It was definitely one of our favorite vehicles at the 2022 PRI Show. Follow the progress of John and his truck at @40gritdesign on YT and IG.

great job , looks fantastic ,i to am a mid engine truck guy also , i have a 69 ,C10 , 454 MID ENGINE- with a trunk up front, - if you click on the little round picture on the left of this
you can check it out, and see a different approach to building a mid engine , i used an ACE CHAMPION v-drive out of a drag boat, and have the differential pointing backwards, srteet legal and runs great. always great to see another mid engine creation, good job , talk to ya later- john.

Truck definition= Vehicle used primarily for hauling materials /freight.
This is no longer a "truck". It is a car with truck looking panels. People removing cargo capacity of their beds and making race cars out of them need to stop calling them TRUCKS, they are not.
