  • In 1964, Elvis met a man named Larry Geller. That man became known as the one who helped come shape Elvis' iconic hairstyle. He also brought The King of Rock on a spiritual journey, and helped to change Elvis' perception on life.

Elvis' life and story is a deep well of resource for new books and videos; each having a new take. There could continue to be hours of experiencing that Elvis fans might feel compelled to examine.
My motivation is to enjoy 'new' photos of Elvis.
The stories are interesting as well, but it is his tender image that draws. 😌

We all have a purpose here on earth , the Bible teaches to use our gifts and talents to help and serve others, to be a blessing to others , and to Glorify God with those gifts

Amen! The only reason we're here is to follow Him, and only Him.

So pretty much Larry and Jerry were Elvis only true friends, everyone else, like Joe Esposito said, just wanted to have "fun".
This is why it's important to have a good circle of people that question everything they do around you, that circle will be honest, not advantageous.

Larry Geller was the one person Elvis should've fired. He was into a lot of weird beliefs and cult religions. Clearly not a good thing.

I agree. Larry talking about being the last one to touch Elvis before the casket lid came down makes me want to throw up. He was a Hollywood hairdresser who convinced Elvis he was some kind of spiritual guru and Elvis fell for it.

look at the books elvis read… much more than the bible. look up “the impersonal life” elvis favorite book, even has a graceland edition. dont be close minded.

@@blakethurman911 Why don't you look up John 3:16 in the bible? Don't be so open minded.

@@blakethurman911 Elvis was always searching for peace in his life and yes, Larry did help to some degree but Larry is just like all of the rest of them, exploiting Elvis for money nearly a half century after his death.
