Its okay to give your honest opinion how else will they improve
I've always said this before to other food reviewers Deano... Whenever a meal is served to you that's literally inedible... You must always let the staff know... Whether that's face to face... Or jotting down a quick note and leaving it next to the plate for when the tables are being cleared... If you don't... They'll think that everything was okay when it really wasn't... Without that feedback from an unsatisfied customer... They'll never correct their mistakes... Which means that if we were to visit here for a meal... There's a good chance that the public are also going to be served cold food... I understand that because it was for a review... That you didn't want a refund... As you'll be paid through your RUclips channels views and advertisement revenue... The rest of us can't afford not to complain... But i think that after they're aware of this video review... And it puts people off from eating here... They'll feel it in their sales figures at some point in the future... Just leave a note next time my friend. 👍
I would have taken it back. A cold Breakfast for £9 is not on. Doesn't matter if you get your money back through the video. The more who complain the more they sort it out.

@JustDeano why wouldn't you put the video out ? You put a video of you eating the food and your opinion on it, which is fair enough, but you could have had a quiet off video word about it after to the staff.
Take it back.. jeez can’t complain if you didn’t give them the opportunity to correct the mistake!

@michelebailey1913were you even watching 🙄 he said the sausages were bland the hash browns had barely any filling so the quality was also bad, besides it's common sense if I were cooking for someone else id serve it to them how i would want it. Selling cold food that's supposed to be hot is an insult
That’s not how reviews work. That’s how an average customer works, cause they’re there for their food not to provide an overview of what to expect before you go.

You should have told them, i've had many a 'spoons breakfast and they have always been very good.
A few things to take from this video…
1. Deano isn’t keen on blue plates.
2. He especially isn’t keen on blue plates if they are round shaped.
3. Deano prefers white plates.
4. He especially prefers white plates if they are square shaped.
5. The majority of the comments section think he should have complained at the time.
If you're doing a HONEST REVIEW perhaps if you told them it's not hot see how they resolve it and then you can review service and food 😉

You should have taken it back and complained. That food could have been cooked two days ago, and reheated many times. I feel sick now. It is your fault for not complaining.

It's been left under the heat lamp or in bain Marie but beans and tomato due to their density hold the heat although the sausages would probably have shrivelled up

Part of a review should be about customer service so would be interesting to know how they react if you do complain about the food. Do they apologise and refund/replace the food or do they just tell you to shove the cold sausage up yer arse and throw you out the door.

I'll never be able to work it out, everybody complaining about the cost of living, can't afford this, can't afford that. I priced this breakfast up, to make yourself including the drink and I got it at £1.87. Don't forget that £1.87 version would be fresh, hot and far bigger portions. Enjoyed the video, not somewhere I would go for a breakfast.
What!! In what shopping centre lol I buy all the cheapest stuff from Tesco's and it's still around 20 quid so around 5 quid for per person as I live in house with 4 people.

I agree with you, you shouldn't have to complain I just dont go back.. If you complain you dont know if when it comes back its been spat on or been used to clean the toilet.

Deano had that kind of carry on one time in a restaurant in Cherbourg lovely looking meal but stone cold, it was like it was cooked hours ago and the chef 👨🍳 done a runner 😅 and sure they won’t mind that meal I dished up hours ago 😮
You really need to check the Victorian Beer cafe out in Halifax. It’s awesome. Also you should visit the food places in the Piece Hall and support some independent places.
So glad to have found your channel if only for showing me the Piece Hall. What an amazing place, I never even knew It existed nor heard of it and now it’s on my must visit list for this summer .Cheers Deano you have just gained a very happy subscriber.

You didn't mention the issue with the HP brown sauce Deano.
One minute you were smiling, then the next before you had even started eating you had a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp the very second you saw your breakfast being served to you on a blue plate instead of a white plate ! You had already decided it wasn’t going to be up to expectations simply based on plate colour and plate shape ! You should have complained.
If you say so....if the food was nice i don't care the colour of the plate, although if they advertise the breakfast nicely presented online then it is all piled up on a small plate (regardless of colour) then it should be served like that. In my opinion
I often eat cold food at home but when I am out it would annoy me to say the least. Thank you for the video. I like the church bells.

@@JustDeanowell yes, but then you are a food review channel, to be successfull and grow your channel more you need to learn that it isn’t about what you like necessarily, it’s about what your subscribers like and want to see. A captive audience isn’t going to stay captive forever if you don’t step out of your comfort zone once in a while instead of doing the same old endless reviews of these same old endless full English breakfasts.

I got to the stage where I had to say "please can you serve it piping hot".
Why is it so difficult to serve hot food?

Photos on their facebook page does show a breakfast on the plate you received as well as on those white plates. For me the colour and shape of a plate is as irrelevant as the colour of the chefs socks if they have the same food put on them.

The worst thing you can do when serving food in any establishment is not to serve it piping hot. I went to a Wetherspoons in my home city Birmingham and i was the first person in there at 7.00 am prior to work. Even then the breakfast was lukewarm. How did they manage that? Very disappointing. Served on a stone cold plate of course as usual.
So what was the story with the HP sauce you was going to tell us outside or have I missed something

Deano, all I can say is that the kitchen needs shutting down. If they serve food which is below a certain temperature, when offered as a hot meal, they could and should be prosecuted. No bones about it. Who is to say that you could have been poisoned. Food standing even under hot ray lamps has to bethrown out after a maximum of an hour.
Name and shame. Send your vlog to the duty manager and cc the local health authorities.

I would of took jt back and got my money back the is no excuse to serve cold food .id rather go a cafe and have my breakfast freshly cooked you could get a bad belly with that breakfast how long was if cooked i know a girlwho works at morrisons and dhe said the breakfasts intheir cafe everything is cooked at 7 before the cafe opens
