i use lots of garlic in stir frys at home. never been bothered by mosquitos on holiday ,they never touch me .garlic is anti inflammatory so the wee fuckers dont stand a chance with me🙂

@@geordiejones2 just done some research, taking garlic has no effect. You can have two people in a bedroom one has a good nights sleep the other one gets bitten all over, we are all different.
I always say that how well cooked the half tomato is defines the breakfast and establishment. In most places it's just shown the grills for a second and is basically raw. With yours though it is a budget breakfast so they removed the pretence of cooking it i guess.

Those eggs looked like you could bounce off the wall! I think Baby G's was better value but both only cost €6, so you get what you pay for.

I had some good times in Kavos many years ago. Great bar called Eldeweiss, beautiful food, sightseeing etc
Reminds me of an old minder episode with Mike Read. They are in a cafe for breakfast Mike Read asks Arthur what the black bits were on the eggs, truffles Mike guesses, no nothing horrible like that its the burnt grease from the frying pan.

Went to Tenerife one year and 2 girls in the hotel told us to go to the café around the corner for breakfast and one of them emphasised the fact that they had Heinz beans, and she could tell they were because she knew Heinz beans. So next morning we went and sure enough high on a shelf behind the counter was a row of about 8 catering tins of Heinz beans, we sat down and had our breakfast and whilst eating it we saw in the kitchen area the chef taking beans out of catering packs of another brand of beans and putting them in a pan on the stove, it seems the cans behind the counter was for bluffing people only. Sorry it took so long to tell you.

breakfast here in bangkok just under my 270 £ rented condo with pool and gym cost about 1£ fried rice fresh duck and a fried egg ..water and greens are free..
After i take a ice coffee for less than 1£ and a freshmade fruit smoothie for under 1£ after gym/ pooltime and away to the office with super modern aicom bts skytrain that also cost under 1£
I probably eat for less than 10£ a day here..incl coffee smoothies and all that..eating out is cheaper than cook at home
Hopefully I'll be in Bangkok towards the end of the year, that's the plan anyway. Glad to hear it's cheap 😁

The egg is unforgivable, terrible sausage, cold mushrooms, raw tomato and no Black Pudding, I would only give it 4/10 👎

It always makes me think where chips and hash browns come from on the English breakfast, hash browns are good.
I remember having a full english in crete and when it turned up it the normal sausage bacon beans mushrooms tomato like as you said but also had a slice of cucumber. 😂

This bloke is hilarious. He gets all excited and tries to describe the most basic, cheap and nasty food I’ve ever seen.
I love taking 20 minutes out of my day to watch this fool wax lyrical over tinned mushrooms, frozen pizzas and “BRITISH BACON”. It’s like something out of a 1970’s sitcom. 😂😂😂

Looked pretty good, worth the money. I have to disagree with you about the eggs though. Fried eggs are easy to get right everytime, especially for a cook who spends everyday cooking them. Hard egg is a bitter disappointment.
If they are kept on a keep warm buffet style plate, they can go hard, and this place sells a lot of breakfasts so maybe that is it. I'm not sure

I never understand why so many of us Brits go on holiday to warmer climates only to eat things like full breakfast, roast dinners etc. Far too hot for that, and never that great. Much rather something local, which I would imagine is difficult to find in the resorts. Guess they're catering for the masses. Anyway, another great review Deano, safe journey home mate.
Yeah but the Greek food is casseroles and stews, so it is too warm for that too. I did eat a lot of local food on this trip.
