😊 1:45 no buts...need 0-line,gotta make the playoffs!!
I want OL, just not at 10
I do not have a trade up scenario, as I do not like the idea of giving up draft capitol we do not have. I prefer Rome, or Brock in that order at 10 depending on who is there. I love the trade down idea, and I would take best OL in that case. Unfortunately I think anyone jumping up for a QB will be doing so already by leap frogging the Jets.
Same wavelength! I think it's gonna be tough for us to trade down
Taking JC latham would be a very good pick. Taking brock bowers than trading up back into the first for a tackle would also be good, there are several good tackles in tbe first round. Brock could be a top five TE from his first snap and that could make a huge differnce, but also having two old
Starting tackles is scary
I am also camp weapon in round 1 that being said if and OL is the BPA and we go with that I am happy with that. I just think a r1 weapon will be a day 1 starter and I think going OL depth with 72 and 111 or 134 should sufficiently address that too if we grab two guys like Puni, Mahogany, Christian Jones, Matt Goncalves, Zak Zinter.
Also Odunze will most definitely not be there at 10, I’ll be incredibly stunned if he slides and is available at 10.
I'm in camp 'Get the JETS to SB'....... #10 can be (OL/TE/WR) just make us better. GO-JETS.
Ryan you were begging for the Jets to draft OJ Howard 😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I don't think I've ever wanted a TE in the 1st. McBride in a small trade up was probably the closest thing
Mike Evans or Marvin Harrison Jr.
Ryan I believe JC Lathan is the pick in the trade down situation he's a mauler we also meet with him twice it look to me that JD already have a trade down partner but who knows what would unfold in the nfl draft
There was some news confirming that Marvin Harrison Jr. is the pick for the Cardinals at #4.
I didn't see that but it would make sense
If they pass on Rome Odunze that would be crazy.
I think he's the target
Ok we are on the page 6:50
I’m takin Rome or Brock with that 10th pick
Facts!
If we trade down take btj first an then a olinemen
Is there any situation where we can trade down from 10 to 14 or something, get an additional 3rd and still get bowers? Or am I living in lala land
I am skeptical that we'll be able to slide back
My board is very similar, except no trade up options. I'm on Team Bowers if the team stays at 10. Heavy 2 TE offense with Bowers who can play in the slot and block. Can even play in the backfield, so no need for FB on roster as well. Wilson played much better when he was put back in his natural position on the outside, Moore back to the slot, his natural position. With Williams added to the roster, I would want a WR with slot experience, as well as playing on the outside for life after Williams or injury. Believe all the top wideouts fit that description, so if the team goes that route, cool. I would prefer a trade back though. Quality Quantity over High Quality, ever so slightly. More Top 100 picks in a "deep" draft at the teams positions of need. With how Fashanu has been talked about from just about everybody, he could be available in the trade back spot and have more time to develop.
Yea I think a trade down for an OL would be ideal. I'm skeptical that we will be able to move back
No tight end, WR, OL,
Backup OL at 10 will hurt my soul lol I hope if we go OL it's in a trade down
Especially when one is injury prone. And I don't trust mitchell or carter at all
Which ones injury prone?
From the looks at these comments many Jet "fans" want, to win "now" mind you, and another 17 rotational offensive line with another QB on the injury list with no running game just to blame JD and the QB again.
At this point of the massive amount of stupidity I'm ready to encourage the Jets front office to give them what they want.
Trevor Siemian ---> Broken
Mike White ----> Broken
Aaron Rodgers ----> Broken
Let's keep the trend of an unprotected quarterback and another losing season going. 👏👏👏 🥳🥳🥳
@@JetsTalk247 Tyron smith. Moses is ironman
No move up, please!!!
I prefer not to trade up as well
Why do we keep drafting TEs we never use nor develop? Yeboah, Kuntz, Ruckert? We Need OL security imo, won't matter whom our QB is throwing to if opposing defenses are getting through.
(Zach was QB)
@@JetsTalk247 Mike White broken ribs? Aaron Rodgers is not Zach Wilson by the way. Wondering what the excuse for Geno Smith going to be...
I know everyone wants a weapon I want a solid Tackle/Guard I’m tired of our revolving doors at OL so we can actually pass
I feel that, I just can't wrap my head around a depth pick inside the top 10
@@JetsTalk247 don’t trust our coaching staff like how you explained with Miami we’re not disciplined enough i dont know
@@ChrisFromDaTowns it's in part how Rodgers won his last MVP
@@JetsTalk247 as long as he’s protected 🙏🏽 that’s all I want some good functioning football in New York
Hindsight as a reason for something to might happen is why GM's get fired. The same reasoning can be used on players like Brady, Montana, Rodgers, Favre and any other mid round player who is in the HOF. The shoulda, woulda, coulda argument is weak at best.
We are close Ryan ...
Can't wait for the draft lol
Trade up: Nabers IF he somehow falls to 8-9
Pick at 10: Rome, Bowers
Trade Down: Fautanu, Fashanu, Fuaga, Mims, BTJ
Trade WAY down into the 20s and get a 2nd: and dont judge me…but Johnny Newton, Byron Murphy and pick WR in the 2nd
Ultimately I just want Rome to fall to 10 and sleep soundly knowing our offense will be unstoppable
Same wavelength!
Too much draft cap to get any of the wide outs, maybe Rome gets to 10. I guess Bowers is starting to feel like the organization settling on him.
I think we may jump to 8 to secure WR3. I don't think that would cost much
Fans always follow taking the coolest car to the prom philosophy. Pick the best receiver or that amazing tight end. Trade down. Grab a second round pick. Blah blah blah...stupid is as stupid does. 41 year old QB. Clock is running. "O" line has a new guy that hasn't played a full season in 6 years and fans want the GM to pick a TE. Mind boggling. Get a generational "O" line pick to keep AR from going out for the rest of the season in the first 4 downs.
How many playoff games has Tyron missed? 0, guy is healthy when it matters. I don't hate OL but it would certainly surprise me in a hot seat yesr
@@JetsTalk247 An offensive lineman playing injured in the playoffs is not a boon for a team. Which is exactly why the Cowboys let him go. The Cowboys are tired of losing in the playoffs. The offensive line with the Chiefs are not tired of winning Super Bowls.
My board
Trade up:
1. Marvin Harrison Jr.
The only instance where I'm not furious about a trade up.
At 10:
2. Malik Nabers
3. Rome Odunze
4. Brock Bowers
Playmakers, baby.
Trade down:
5. JC Latham
6. Joe Alt
7. Troy Fautanu
8. Olu Fashanu
Okay, if we got any of these guys at ten I would be happy, but my preference is to nab one of these top four tackle prospects in a trade down.
Trade further back:
9. Brian Thomas Jr.
10. Amarius Mims
I honestly don't love either of these guys, but if we trade back too far and whiff on the top four tackles, I could talk myself into one of these two.
No, I do not want to draft Fuaga.
I'm higher on Fuaga than I am Latham but I know Blewitt likes Latham
@@JetsTalk247 Fuaga is just Latham without the upside, IMO.
Trade DOWN for Alt? Am I missing something 😊
@deadvedev3817 I don't expect Alt to be there in a trade down, but that's where he falls in my rankings. I do think there's a world where Alt is still on the board at 10, and I'd be content taking him there. On trading up for Alt; I'd be furious if the team traded up for a tackle when they're already all but guaranteed a very good tackle prospect at 10.
Brock Bowers is my #1 option at #10.
Were going to need a TE long term because Tyler Conklin is a FA next year.
Rome would be a great pick also cuz Rodgers throws a lot of back shoulder.
I do hope it's Rome but would be pumped with Bowers
Trade up for ALT or BOWERS, Pick Fantanu or Fuaga, Trade Down for LATHAM,FASHANU,LEGETTE,WILSON,MIMS,FISKE,
NUBIN, and others.
Trade down
Hope that's an option for us
Bottom line. Atlanta wants a defensive player, so they should be open to swapping picks with them would cost a 4.
1. Trade down to 8 if Nabers or Alt is available. If Odunze is rated high by Jets, him too.
2. Bowers is pick if Jets pick up more OL help in FA or trade. Otherwise trade down and take Latham or better.
It's all on Rodgers. If he says they can utilize him to their advantage. So he'll be our pic.
This is my thinking too. I like a trade up with Atlanta if it doesn't cost much
@@petercampisi2524 Rodgers historically doesn't use his TE much. I know he'd prefer lasting more than 4 plays this year so OL is in play but hope Nabers drops.
Correction to my comment. I misread the value chart and we'd need to include both 4s or a 4 this year and next to move up two slots. Still worth it for Nabers or Alt and maybe Odunze.
How can we get Brock Bowers and Lad McConkey?….. make it happen
Would need a trade down from 10 and probably a trade up to the early 2nd
A redraft is he serious
The point is, TE, if they are the right prospect, is worth a top 10 pick. The problem is the evaluation process of the prospects, not the position
@@JetsTalk247 ? The right prospect ? Honestly any pick in the top 10 can be labeled the right prospect potential H.O.F. Talent so the real question is what would you rather hame a H.O.F. Tackle WR or TE as a prospect
Ryan am warming up to the Bowers idea he would definitely be our X weapon, we cab line him up anywhere to created match up problem for other defense
I'm hoping we land Odunze or Bowers, I think either 1 is a homerun!
If Odunze is available at 10. You run up there and grab him instantly.
Facts!
How about only drafting two players? Give a first round pick next year plus 3rd and both 4s. Move up to get Alt, and then take Odunze or Bowers at 10.
I’m FUCKING DOWN FOR THAT DEAL BROTHER
LFG J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS WOOOOOOO!!!!
That would be absolutely wild lol
Bro no one’s trading a top 7 pick for a 3rd this year and a first lol
@@GangGreen1323 what if jets throw in Zach will sleep with the next teams moms Wilson
I'm pretty resigned that it will be Bowers. They have not drafted an excellent tight end with a long career since Richard Caster so it will be a "same old" pick.
I'd be happy with Bowers, hope it's Odunze though!
Hey!
Hi!
