    The pastor is calling for 100 people to come to the prayer meetings. We need that. However, it might be difficult to do unless we spend much time in the secret place that gives us the drive from within.

    I was baptized once when I was little. I was always told it was one and done. In my later years I started feeling a stronger pull to be baptized again. I put if off because again I was being told it was not necessary. But then Jesus gave this message. Jesus said "I am going to baptize people with water and fire." After being visited in Norris City, IL during this revival I could no longer hold back the desire to be baptized.
    I did it completely unprepared. I went in with my jeans on still. Didn't care what it took anymore. I wanted what Jesus was offering. I came up after the third time of going under. I....spoke....in....tongues!!! And the following Sunday I felt the fire and could not stop drinking water and praying in tongue with my worship music in the garage after the service.
    We all have different experiences but it's all for the glory of GOD. Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and worthy of all the praise. Tongues is for everyone and no one will ever be able to lie or deceive me as they have been again. Multiple baptisms and or rather ENCOUNTERS are also part of the message Jesus gave. Get baptized! Then do it again! Meet Jesus in the water!!!

      @Scoobieish Paul said when he speaks in the spirit he speaks to GOD and not to man. Interpretation of tongues is even better if one can interpret but you should not stop people from embracing the gift of tongues. You can use it and press in more at home in your quiet place with the LORD by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

    • @clintwinkleman7514

      @Scoobieish If you study the day of Pentecost you will also see that there were in fact mockers and scoffers who accused them of drunkenness.

    • @clintwinkleman7514
      @clintwinkleman7514 2 года назад

      @Scoobieish Another interesting thing I find is that it also serves as a sign to unbelievers.
      1 Corinthians 14:22
      Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe.

    • @clintwinkleman7514
      @clintwinkleman7514 2 года назад

      @Scoobieish I'm not sure what you are wanting to prove or hear aside from going against tongues but I will speak plainly. When I went into the baptismal waters with all the faith I had hoping to encounter my Lord Jesus....he didn't disappoint. I was baptized in WATER and FIRE and spoke IN TONGUES!!!
      I wasn't even specifically asking for it I just wanted more from the LORD and he answered! Jesus is worthy of all the praise and glory and I love the LORD my God with all my heart, mind and soul.
      Going against tongues is a lie from the father of lies who is satan and I rebuke it in the name of my Lord JESUS and the power of the HOLY SPIRIT!!! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord.

      Mark 16:17-18
      "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
      They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

    Music should come at the end. Sings hymns and songs that have doctrine of Christ Jesus in them.
    Weight of the Word comes from Preaching Christ and Him crucified for/by the demonstration of power.
    Revelation knowledge, tongues and the Word and the Blood of Christ. Manifestations. The first
    Manifestation is Christ and Him crucified. Lift Jesus higher. The cross of Christ is the anchor
    described in Hebrew that with the blood goes on in past the veil. It is weight , light, energy, force, momentum,
    It is ability to rightly divide by hearing what is spoken. It is the ability to impart the Divine Seed
    of believing. The cross of Christ is the weapon of our warfare that cancels. out all carnality
    and produces incorruptible conversions. Everything that Jesus accomplished on the cross was downloaded into His own Isaac Seed and taken with Him into the tomb and into the resurrection
    and into the ascension. This is what the manifest Sons of God are really all about. The Word made
    flesh through Christ our Lord. Healing is a work of the finished word of Christ on the cross because
    He worked it through His physical body through fusion with the incarnation. Read Dan Musick's
    Wheaton College) paper entitled, the Kenosis, Philippians 2. It is available on line.

    Amen. Peter held the keys to the kingdom of Heaven. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Ghost was poured out for the first time. It came as a rushing mighty WIND. They all began to speak with other tongues and magnify God. (Note, there was no interpreter necessary for this type of tongue!) Peter told them to repent, be baptized in Jesus Name, and they WOULD receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. And we see this throughout the book of acts.
    John 3:8 says “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” Same wind that came on the day of Pentecost. This lets us know there is a SOUND that accompanies the filling of the Holy Ghost. It is the evidence! John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. This is what Peter was preaching about; born of water = baptism in Jesus name. Born of spirit = filled with the Holy Ghost. This is significance of dying on the cross with Jesus (repentance) being buried with him in a grave (dead to sins), and resurrected into new life with him when receiving the Holy Ghost.

    Sincerity, emotion, and zealousness aside, this is, unfortunately, a continuing example of an eisegesis of 1 Cor. 14 (imposing one's own interpretation) instead of exegesis. No where in this chapter does the apostle Paul give the meaning or emphasis to tongue-speaking that this pastor is doing (and others in the last few decades).

      So what is called when Holy Spirit expounds/explains upon statement made in the Bible? Is it possible that Holy Spirit can give more of an explanation of what Paul “meant”. Isn’t Holy Spirit the author of all scripture? Wasn’t it “Holy Spirit breathed”? So why don’t we just ask the author as opposed to sticking to the bare minimum which is the revealed word, not just the letters on the page and the “proper context”. Let’s get past the Logos... and get into the Rhema!

    • @RayNavarro7
      @RayNavarro7 3 года назад +1

      @@RIGGedlld Yes, the Holy Spirit DOES speak to us today and can expound on the meaning of Scriptures. My personal view on this is that the Holy Spirit, the author of the Scriptures, will never contradict Scriptures themselves. God gave His Word for the very basic reason that it is the infallible source of truth and the last word in matters of doctrines, faith, and experiences. I believe we need to view the Bible this way, otherwise, what is to say that the Holy Spirit spoke to me, then spoke to you, but we both have contradicting teachings in the end? We are too subjective, often interpreting our inner "movings" or feelings as God/Holy Spirit speaking to us, when we need to subject our thoughts and feelings to Scripture to see if we are in alignment with what it says. As opposed to being just "letters on a page" as you say, I personally take God's Word as the infallible guide for my life. The Holy Spirit will never contradict what He inspired the authors to write.

    • @RayNavarro7
      @RayNavarro7 3 года назад

      @@RIGGedlld I think I understand your intent: that it's important to be open to the Holy Spirit's leading in our lives, to follow His teaching; and that mere words on a page (the "bare minimum" as you say) is not enough. I would agree that yes, the Holy Spirit is alive and active, more than just ink on paper. So perhaps I need to be clearer on how I'm stating my personal position. I believe the Holy Spirit speaks to us today through our consciences, circumstances, and even in conversations with others. The conviction and light the Spirit brings to our minds is dynamic. But the Bible, because it is "God-breathed" (e.g., men wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit), will always be the perfect standard for all matters of teaching and experience and the Bible is the PRIMARY means of discovering truth because the Holy Spirit inspired the men who wrote. There must be a last word when there are varied and even conflicting ideas between people. If the Holy Spirit speaks to me, He will always direct me to what has been written in the Word, so the Bible is more than just words, it is a living power that informs and transforms us. Even Jesus said "sanctify them in your truth; Your Word is truth" (In. 17:17). The Holy Spirit sanctifies us through the truth as it has been written, not outside of it. In this day and age, when pluralism and individualism are king, to view an ancient document, the Bible, as absolute truth, is very unpopular. But this is exactly the point I'm making: without the Bible, that the Holy Spirit himself inspired, one person will have this idea and another person will have an opposing idea (as in this case between you and me). Who is right??? I believe the Holy Spirit would say, "Search the Scriptures."
