  • Join us on this journey following Adumu Imoro, one of the Ghanaian women who works tirelessly to make handcrafted shea butter in our SFC processing centers within Tamale, Ghana. We're able to see where Adumu lives, her morning routine collecting shea nuts from the wilderness of the Ghanaian savannah during rainy season. After collecting these precious nuts she carries them back to the processing center to sort, wash, dry and grind the nuts to get ready for the handcrafting process of making shea butter. She does this hard work to earn money so she can provide for her family and send her children to school. It's quite incredible to witness. We hope to increase our role in helping build systems and partnerships with like minded sustainability driven initiatives so these women have more income generating opportunities available to improve their lives.
