Jackie, glad to see you getting out BGC and going to Pampanga province to see the lantern festival. Enjoy your visit and taste some local foods well known in that region. God bless and stay safe.
Hi Jackie and hubby, have fun touring around the Philippines 😊. I'm a Bicolana and I wish you can visit Bicolandia too. I suggest visiting Albay first, where the beautiful Mt. Mayon is. There are some hotels that offers culinary experience too aside from the outdoor activities that you can try within the province.
Pampanga is the Christmas , Culinary , and the Semana Santa capital . Try also to visit Clark Global City the most beautiful city , and Clark International Airport the most beautiful airport .
Visit also Iloilo City and Guimaras Island. You can take either a boat or airplane.Boat is cheaper but you will enjoy your trip going to Iloilo because the of the amenities they offer during the trip. Boracay is just 5 hrs by bus from Iloilo and Bacolod City is less than 2 hrs away by boat.Last week of Jan 2025 , the city will celebrate the Dinagyang festival, one of the most colourful, most festive festival in the Philippines.

There is a train under construction connecting Laguna, Manila, Bulacan and Pampanga. In 2030, it will be much easier and faster going there, hence I bought a property there specifically in Mabalacat, just right across the Clark International Airport. Pampanga has promising future.
If you really up to exploring places in the Philippines, may i suggest for you to visit one of our unique place called Batanes. It is situated in the northern part of the Philippines with a NZ vibe, and seldom visit by a tourist due to its remote location.
Clark City in Pampanga Province and the newly created New Clark City in Tarlac Province would be the newest business and lifestyle hub in the country soon to decongest Manila. A commuter train line called NSCR will make a 4 hour travel to less than an 1 hour instead from the capital to the 2 provinces. There's also a new international airport in that area called Clark International Airport, the best in the country.
Since old time up to now pampanga is very popular probince all over in philippines beco,z during Spanish regime most of the Spaniards they stay in pampanga for many reason, next when amercan military air base it was in 1940's that's why pampanga known as rich province.in phil.
