Excellent. There are some great clarinets out there. During the lockup I bought a pair of Boosey & Hawkes 1010 clarinets from the early 50s. They are fantastic instruments which are no longer manufactured. They have been lovingly restored. Unfortunately there are no original mouthpieces. These instruments will not work with standard French mouthpieces, so I have a bored out B45 and large bore mouthpieces by Peter Eaton, the last English clarinet manufacturer! Sir you are doing a great job restoring undoubtedly many fine old instruments. Many of these older instruments will produce a tone not available on modern ones. I look forward to seeing some of your other videos. God bless you. Bill. Uk 🎶🇺🇸🇬🇧

I have now bought two beautifully restored INCREDIBLE Albert system clarinets from Jeremy and they are always a thrill and delight to play. I would be buying yet another if I could play more!!!
Thank you for your great work!!

Unstained natural grenidilla that was used in those older clarinets was over 100 years old before it was milled into those old horns. Also hand turned on lathes ,not CNC machines. That was a big undertaking considering the chimneys are higher than the body of the instrument.

Agree 200% with what you said...
But "Band" kids are obsessed with getting a shiney new Buffet or Yamaha.
    Nothing else matters.
    Sadly. 😔

How old is my clarinet? It has brown, black wood, serial number 2276, bell says Tromphe Paris, mouthpiece says Olympian, the case says Eagle Lock Co, Terryville Conn USA on the lock
