Hi jack I’m a big fan, can you do a video on the big white plane taking off please
Of course, thanks for watching :)
Have you also turned up your Graphic settings?
And are you using this default aircraft?
That's odd then, if all your settings are maxed out. What about your resolution? What do you have that set as?
Hey there, I am so sorry to tell ya, that this is not totally wrong, but I think you might need to read out the Cessna manuals once again. For example if you followed the checklist you would have set the parking break first ´cause the moment you start your engine the propellers will start turning around and for the next few steps you need to check your engine in different thrust conditions watching your instruments........
Next fatal error is that I guess the mixture should have been set to full rhich below 3 000ft. Otherwise it is a loss of thrust, during takeoff if you leave it in lower conditions......
And the way the plane is unstable in the left corner after takeoff.... I wouldn´t fly with you. No checklist and unstable controll ...... (In Germany we say "Gefährliches Halbwissen" which means "dangerous half blooded knowledge).........
Yeah it's just a quick startup tutorial for FSX players, no exactly for the real world :)
Hello. You need to consult a Cessna checklist. You are starting everything up in the wrong order.
Fer realz tho. Avionics OFF before mains on.
Fer realz tho it's a game
Why Yall saying my name ;-;
@@JacksFSVideos it's a simulator, they are literally meant to be "played" correctly
I noticed that too lol
Hi Jack good video but just one thing I noticed for realism is that in real life the avionics are only switched on after the engine has been started😉
Yeah I did get that bit wrong xD
The Cessna procedures says no flaps on take off. I think the reason is because the wings provide plenty of lift as long as you get up to speed. Any flaps in a Cessna tends to slow it down. Another important step in any small aircraft is to do what’s called a run up. This will test to make sure your mixture will allow proper rpm for max acceleration.
Yeah I’ve never had to use flaps for takeoff in an aircraft so small :)
Yeah but flaps 10 are used for short and soft field takeoff.
Awesome video!! It helped me a lot
Glad it helped you out! Thanks for watching!
Hi Jack can do a video on the start up video for Boeing 737 that would be really grateful.
Already done! You can check it out on my channel :)
Cessna 172 is super easy
Jack - Can you do a video on the 172 Skywawk, specifically the avionics?
Maybe when I'm back, remind me :)
57th view. Ctrl+E should do it lmao
But for real your video is so helpful. you show the full procedure without boring us to death.
Hahaa glad you didn't die while watching my video! Thanks for watching and supporting :D
Hey jack can you do a video about the Cessna 172 and the autopilot please
Already done :)
I love your videoes hope tou will reach 1 million subscribers
Hahah I hope so to! But unlikely for an FSX channel :)
What do you do with Mixture after setting initially to 20%? Does it stay at that position or does it get adjusted after you become airborne? Please advise. Cheers
Hi! Can you do more startup from cold and dark videos for other airplanes? Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll add it to the list of possibilities
In my case I'm having difficulties to reach the "Flaps" when I'm in the air and approaching the airstrip ahead of me, while you basically could do it without the steering was in the way!
Just use the keyboard commands :)
@@JacksFSVideos Well I tried that obvious to hit "CTRL F or Alt F" but it didn't do anything :( But soon I will figure it all out I hope at least (y)
Do a c172 flight from London City to Guernsey or jersey please.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll add it to the list of possibilities
Can you please do more tutorials like this for the Cessna and eventually other aircraft?
Thanks for the suggestion! And you can already find loads of tutorials on my channel for commercial aircraft :)
Jack's FSX Videos Thanks!
No problem!
Yes... Autopilot and ILS, please. Thank you.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll add it to the list of possibilities
Hey Jack, what's the difference between the avionics switch and the master switch? Thanks and amazing video.
Basically the avionics switch it to protect the electrical components of the aircraft. While the two master switches are to turn on the Battery and the Alternator
Nice vid
Can your time you please do one for the Mooney bravo g1000
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll add it to the list of possibilities
Do we have to adjust the pitch? In the checklist says something like that..
Yes you can, this is just a basic beginners tutorial
Can you do a F/A 18 tutorial pls
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll add it to the list of possibilities
Hello, I saw you aircraft was set on the end of the runway, but mine is parked in front of the storage. How much of power(?) should I apply to if I do taxi?
Thank you.
Just enough that you're moving slowly
Hey Jack, where are you flying in your livestream this Sunday?
It'll be a repeat of last month after it didn't go to plan!
Sorry, do you mean it will go wrong again or not?
Well I can't predict if it'll go wrong or not, I was just saying the flight will be the same
Nice vidoe
Thanks!
Can Cessna 172 really take of with mixture set at 20%? I thought it is impossible...
Nah fam, mixture needs to be full rich
