Hi my name is Shaun and in this video I will be attempting to fix a robotic vacuum cleaner.
I am not a professional at repairing things. I want to see if I am able to bring broken items back to life.

Thanks Shaun! My Eufy would work on hardwood floors, but as soon as it moved onto a rug it would spin in a circle. I replaced both my left wheel motor and left brush motor and now it works great. One note to add, the motors were much cheaper to buy directly from Eufy than third party Amazon sellers.

Thank you for this video. One of my wheels has been giving me issues the last two times I have used it. This video just gave me the confidence I need to open it up and do a full clean on it. After running it almost every other day with two dogs I am surprised it hasn't died on me yet and is only now having issues.

You know what, I have that wheel issue too and I tried taking it apart and fixing it but I simply assumed it was a faulty motor issue, even after putting it back together the issue remained. When I heard you say "oh its a wire problem", I was like "dang this guy doesn't know what he's he's talking about", but nonetheless the video inspired me to go try again. I tried your fix and LO AND BEHOLD it started working again, no more spinning around and around. JUST moving a wire fixed it. You have my utmost apologies my guy, and you have earned a like and a sub, thanks so much man I also loved your positivity in the video, all in all just have a great day my friend!

Thanks - you inspired me to look our old "dead" Robovac, "Humphrey". Turns out I never put the springs back on the wheel motors after replacing them follow the feline diarrhoea incident. So it would just stall on carpet, but work fine on floors.

Good stuff! The fan motor is still making an odd noise though that it shouldn’t. I would poke around once more to see what that’s about.

Question where can I find the part numbers for my eureka atlas cleaner (NER700), I want to replace the right wheel gears ⚙️ because it just spins unless I should do the wheel which doesn’t unscrew like the eufy

Greetings Shaun, your video helped. I pulled it all to pieces just like you explained. I also have stripped cogs/gears and no one sells the cogs. I have searched Ebay and I can buy a used brush assembly but the cogs may be worn also. do you know of any sellers that may have just the cogs? thanks for your help.

Any chance you could do a video on how to get the bumper back on please? I’ve replaced the side brush cogs and now I can’t get the bumper back on properly and I’m getting “side brush stuck” error 🙁
Hi Shown I just bougth a XR500 da liectroux and it star to move in circles too. but the problem is that the conector from the microboard of the rigth motor has got off the solded spot. I am thinking in how can I sold it back to the board. but i wil need to pull off the magnect disc that you showed at minute 10:45' . It is possible? I am afraid to broke it.

Hi shaun, can you give me the link for spare cogs as my machine is doing the same, 3rd machine they've sent me, first one lasted 4 days, thrn motor of 2nd lasted 4 weeks, now cogs, really find eufy expensive and poor quality, always fixing it!
A bit of an issue with these vacs is debris seems to get stuck up the wheel wells I have a coredy r550 and I have to sometimes unscrep the wheels to remove junk
Completely agree with you. They need to do more to prevent dust and hair from getting in these places.
I have a Kyvol E20 1 year old doing the same thing.
I tore mine apart as far as the motherboard. There was absolutely nothing wrong that I could see. I gave it a good cleaning job, put it back together & it’s still only turning to the left & staying in a circle. I give up. It looks like I’m gonna have to buy another one. 😕
It just keeps saying the bumper is stuck. But there’s nothing there.
@@darkstar6590 if the bumper is heavily scratched, or has lots of little scratches it can mistake it for the bumper being stuck, give the front of it a good clean with something like furniture polish or wipe it down lightly with wd40, or something oil based. Its worth a try, keep me updated on how it goes
Where did you find the cogs mine is doing the same thing.
i got them from amazon, but they dont sell it there any more, your best bet is ebay, there are a few people selling them, if you are struggling to find them let me know and ill point you to a few reliable sellers :)
