The former Black Panther spent more time in solitary confinement than anyone in the United States, much of it in a six-by-nine cell for 23 hours each day. In his first broadcast interview, Woodfox is joined by his brother, Michael Mable, former imprisoned Black Panther Robert King and attorney Billy Sothern.

What a heart breaking story. My husband did 6 years for a crime he didn't commit so I know first hand how this corrupt system works. I'm so happy that Albert finally got released and I hope he has a great life from here on.

Not alot of people care about the suffering of the blackman, and the injustices imposed on us. That's why theres not many responses on here. There was a time where the originator of the heavens and earth was by himself for millions of years, in the darkness of reality, before the calculation of time. creating himself out of the materials of the reality he created.He was a blackman, and this is one reason why many of his descendants are able to survive the years of incarceration , which reflects how he survived from the beginning by himself. The power of the original man is endless. cant be created nor destroyed,as they try on this physical plane. It's amazing and proves that "The Black Man is God".
Wow to think that man prob lost all the blood family members he ever knew...all that time so sad I hope people will help that man because its going to be hard to pick up and start over in this harsh world

You sir are more of a man then me cause I dunno if I could do 5 years in solitary confinement let alone 43 years!!!wow and I'm pisses right the fuck off at someone who said it was ok to just stuff you inside a cage within a prison and just say fuck him who cares,, OMG I am a white guy and I believe we all have believes and the man was innocent 100% innocent and I wanna know why 43 years like what's a person gotta do to get 43 fuckn year's in solitary confinement?? Can anyone answer that,,I no why I think but doesnt anyone keep track of this stuff,,I think the DOJ plus Congress should have access to everyone who is in solitary confinement and make sure we keep it to a short time..it's not constitutional to keep somebody locked up in a cage and zero interaction with any other human but a guard,any they wonder why ppl snap!!! So it's old out dated old tatics they don't work ,,keep them busy doing stuff ,, whatever it is pay them a bit so they got something to look forward to plus it keeps them feeling sane and can buy outside stuff and still feel human but in jail ,,why not nothing else is working so let's try new things and I bet the crimes in prison will drop big time,,even the ones that are in for violent crimes well gotta try them out and I bet most will get along and honestly let them smoke ,,just have a spot for them to smoke all hours of the day but not at sleep times ,I bet that will help as well ..but anyways I just got pissed off watching this cause I want a name who let this poor guy sit in that hell hole for 43 years,,you ungrateful POS and you should be in prison for allowing this to go on,, someone should go down for this ,,to me that's a crime and you gotta know it's wrong but you all let it happen,,Shane on all yous that did ,,anyways bro if you ever read this just know unless happy your free and I'd sue there asses and try to live a normal life as you can sir ,if I could I'd try helping you out with what ever you wanted to know that you've missed out on.
